I want to see some Christian repaints. I'm not sold on the elite one coming, I'd like to see how else they will release him. And if they will modify his head like they did with Rhodes, Santino, ect already.

It takes 8-12 months to get an action figure to market.
With that in mind, how many superstars are there that Mattel COULD HAVE PRODUCED BY NOW that were actually on the roster 8-12 months ago and aren't known to be being released in the next month or so? Besides some Divas, Mike Knox, and ECW guys, what's left?
Next to nothing.

repaints are a blessing, if you missed the guys figure in an earlier line or just didn't like the attire you get another shot. AGREED

I really don't mind repaints to be honest. I mean look at Rey Mysterio, you can pick any one you want and get the perfect attire for your taste or get them all. He unlike many people can't be changed. Take a guy like Cena, new headscan, different color shorts, tshirt added all can make it a good repaint. Jakks would just stick the same head on a different figure body and call it done. Matel has a way of making repaints so far that make them different so that the true collector has a reason to buy it too.

I understand Christian repaints. I understand ALL repaints. But now take a look at the survivor series set. Why no sheamus and no mycntire? Yet we get ANOTHER cena. Same face same everything $9.99 for orange Aramaic bands! Another undertaker? I think it has a new head scan but same figure. Same Rey figure but in white. Lazy lazy lazy

Lazy lazy lazy its not lazy, they told us the PPV line would be mostly repaints just for a fast turn around. if they were lazy they'd do a PPV line with all straight re releases instead of highly detailed attires from that said ppv.

Given the sheer amount of new parts and "specialty" parts (Rey's body, Bourne's boots, Khali in general) I anticipate there will be TONS more repaints so Mattel can get it's money out of such an investment.
I mainly buy Elite anyway, so it may not be a huge issue... at least for a while.

The repaints I really like surprisingly, are the Undertaker figures. You have the WM Heritage which is from WM 24. The basic 3 is UT from WM 25. Then you have the SS figure which is the attire he wore then, and is still wearing now. That's pretty damn cool to me. The only repaint that disappoints me, is the Orton from the belt set. If he had the designs on the front, it would have been a perfect representation of Orton from that era. What is surprising is that had Mattel just been cheap, they would have not put anything on the back of the tights, but he does have his name. Kind of puzzling why they didn't put the designs on the front.

I agree that some people should get second figs before others get 4th and 5th figs..
It really should not be like that.

Next to nothing."Was McIntyre even *in* the WWE 8-12 months ago? Sheamus had just barely debuted. You're not thinking realistically. Mattel cannot create molds from nothing and magically have new wrestlers on the pegs just because. It takes time.
