so I've been watching some old TNA stuff, and i got the strange urge to animate again. i wanted to do some creative stuff with guard rails, but they're all packed away in a box somewhere, so i need something makeshift to work as one instead. any ideas? would a pile of CDs do? or an old VHS? Old VHS' with tape over them seem like a good idea, or VHS with card on them.

It seems like I took to many pictures in the animation I did today. I can't make the animation any faster in Photoscape because when I save it will come out as very slow. However I don't want to delete pictures either as I'd like to keep it as smooth as it is right now. What should I do? Any help is appreciated Get windows live movie maker. If possibe

I fixed it by removing a few pics even though I didn't really want to do but oh well. That animation really wasn't important. But thanks for the offer

Today I tried to position my deluxe figures for attempt a Suplex but positioning the figures for the move is incredibly awkward and they're somewhat loose so it's not easy at all to keep them standing throughout. Not sure what I can do so if anyone has any suggestions, that would be much appreciated. +2 for the best response.

Hi everyone. To introduce myself, I was a Pivot animator 7 years ago posting most of my stuff on a forum named Stickdude.
I was actually not bad at all at it. Anyways! Having posted MY 'Best of' boutte on the stick animation sub-forum, I am now looking to come back and animate again.
I am looking for a new challenge tho! I'd love to learn all the tricks about wrestling figures animation. I did my duties and read a few pages on that help thread. My question is simple, cause I watch all those strings videos and everything that could help me the begin with.
My question being simple: what would be the best series of figures to start animating with? I am not looking to buy a lot of figures, two would be my target to start. I know this could possibly be one annoying question from a new member, I recognize that.
All I have is wrestling figures from 17 years ago. There is so many set of figures, different names,...
What would happen to be the best? The top two! Thank you for reading and mostly, thank you for all your replies to and tips.
(by the way I am a french Canadian so my English might not be perfect in such a "long" post)

Mattel Elite has to be what I am looking for then. One of my asset is patience and I am looking to make my animations smooth and realistic. Having all joints moving is something I want on my figures.
Now that I have figure this out, is their any difference between, let's see Elite 16 series and Elite 20?!
Is it just the figures itself changing? Some new features on figures movements?
Do I have to buy the very latest or Elite series from couple months/years will do the same job?
Thank you Metal Sorenges!

Thank you Josh for going with specific name and series.
Dolph is actually a figure I would love to buy and with your suggestion is turning to a perfect match for me, Ziggler and a Mattel elite series.
Also, props for warning me on heavyweight. I was already cautious on buying big guys and you confirmed my worries.

Do I have to buy the very latest or Elite series from couple months/years will do the same job? Thank you Metal Sorenges! There might be a slight difference on the level of articulation from the older series to the newest ones so if you choose to buy a earlier series I don't think you will have a problem with joint movement overall. Unless you happen to get a figure that has very loose joints which in most cases you could fix with a dab of glue, if it's loose that means the joint won't stay in the position you want it to be such as arms, it will fall straight down. The best way to fix those is glue like suggested or buy a product called "Blue Tack" is basically a stick substance that you can place below the figures feet in order to keep them staying. The only actual different between the new series and the older series is that they update each wrestlers attire which is the outfit they wear in WWE when the wrestlers update them and Mattel tries their best to mimic their look for each series.

No problem, the big figures are very tough to animate with, the only ones easy to use are Elite 12 Kane and the new 20 - 0 Undertaker.

Once again, thank you Metal Sorenges. Excited and ready to start animating, I went to my local "Wal-mart" store and they s*ck, obviously. Had no figure (well, none of any Elite series I was looking for). So, being mad and having kicked all of the staff in the nuts while there, came back home and went online. eBay turned out to be my best option. Being in Canada, I don't have that many possibilities (I think). Had to log on into Canada section of eBay and do my research. After going threw many pages, opening multiple tabs, I finally made it down to four figures. I would really like your toughts on those ones. Being new and aiming at buying only two to begin with, I'd really like my purchases ending up good ones. I'll just give you links to the 4 pages with quick description of those listed figures and if you feel like taking some time to quick-look at them and help me on which one I should rely on, I would really appreciate it ! Thank you in advance for anyone replying to me on this one, you will certainly help me a lot. If i got a Daniel Bryan figure, would anyone be interested in seeing a triple threat match, Low Ki vs Bryan Danielson vs Matt Sydal? (aka Kaval vs Daniel Bryan vs Evan Bourne)
would like to know what you guys think.

I'd go with the Elite 16 CM Punk and the Elite 19 Dolph Ziggler to start off. Later on, I'd highly recommend purchasing Daniel Bryan.
