Was just thinking about some old Genesis games that I came up playing and this baby crossed my mind. I remember this game drawing me in as a kid because the concept of streetball in video games wasn't a big thing back then so I'd never seen anything like it. Well, that and it was the first game I ever palyed that had cursing in it. When there was a loose ball, a Charles Barkley voice over would say "Get The Damn Ball!"

Yeah, Every time I see Shut Up and Jam, I can't help but think of how it's such a blatant knock off of Jam.
Damn, Even the scoreboard down at the bottom is practically the same as Jam's!

^ yep. pretty wild that directly because of shut up and jam, barkley only appeared on the early ports of the game...and shaquelle o'neil is only in the arcade! and michael jordan isn't even ing in it! and it's haunted!?! - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NBA_Jam weird shyte.
