Had a dream the night before last that I went toyspotting at TRU and they had BCA's on the shelf. There were no current superstars just figures that were actually released in the line. But I remember being both shocked and happy to see them on the shelves again along with the $5 price tag.

Yep yep Also iv noticed there are 2 versions of classic sleeved attire. One with hard plastic arms and one with rubber arms. Not sure what releases they are tho. Do you have any pics? Don't mean to hijack the discussion but I figured I'd post. I've got everything ever released at retail of Kane (to my knowledge). This should be all the Kane BCA 6" figures released in the legit BCA era/style. (Minus the Jakks mini figure - same sculpt but I didn't include him in the pics) Oh, and as for the 2 Sleeve, Non-Slammers Kane with Lawler legs - This is just one of those things I noticed years and years later in my loose collection. Unfortunately I don't know what series it's from or even if it's common. Haven't seen one since!

Like I said, it was random that I realized it had different legs. It would drive me insane if I didn't have a variation of Kane and knew it was out there! Who knows, maybe someone will point one out and I'll go on the hunt once more. I like how your goal is "official variants"... That way random errors aren't on that list. I am an "official release" guy myself - that's the only way I don't get strung up over prototypes and test shots of unreleased items. (Although I have a few of those as well )

while we're talking about parts here's some parts swaps iv done lately! I've had this one Taker TTL figure since i was a kid when it came out and never played with it since the arm broke off. I finally found it's purpose. And before anyone asks "why the steve blackman arms?":

Do you have any pics? the 2 sleeved hard plastic Arms was in shotgun Saturday night series 2 and i wanna say the one kane with the Lawler legs is from 2 tuff series 3 with mankind and the other one is either fully loaded series 1 or 2 tuff series 4 with undertaker he was also in the champions 4 pack as well series 8 team corporate kane had a variant version with Lawler legs also

Unfortunately I don't know what series it's from or even if it's common. Haven't seen one since! The non-Slammers one-sleeve Kane (with rubber arms) in the fourth row is from Superstars Series 8, by the way. It is the only one of its kind with just the one sleeve, soft arms, and no Slammers action feature. I love the group shot, especially with that killer custom Kane. Dude awesome thanks for the pics and info! One day I wanna own almost every official variants in the line and seeing posts like this kind discourage me abit I must say haha. Its awesome to know theres a sleeveless non slammer version. and the lawler legs is pretty bananas to find haha. also heres some additional close ups that I took for Chicago earlier: I checked over all of my BCA Kane figures and I wasn't fortunate enough to come away with a variant, but I love learning about variants that I didn't know existed before this week. Here is what I found from looking at all of mine (well, the ones relevant to this discussion). Judging by: Hard vs. Soft plastic arms. One vs. Two sleeves. Non-Slammers vs. Slammers. Backlash Series 2 - Hard, One, Non-Slammers Bad Blood 4-Pack - Hard, One, Slammers Championship Title Series 4-Pack - Soft, Two, Non-Slammers No Holds Barred 3-Pack - Hard, One, Slammers Over The Edge 4-Pack - Soft, Two, Non-Slammers Perfect 10-Pack - Soft, Two, Non-Slammers Shotgun Saturday Night 4-Pack - Hard, One, Slammers Ultimate Collection 4-Pack - Hard, One, Slammers Signature Series 5 - Soft, Two, Non-Slammers Signature Series 2 - Hard, One, Slammers Superstars Series 8 - Soft, One, Non-Slammers 2 Tuff Series 3 Pack - Soft, Two, Non-Slammers DTA Tour Series 1 - Hard, One, Slammers Slammers Series 2 - Hard, One, Slammers the 2 sleeved hard plastic Arms was in shotgun Saturday night series 2 and i wanna say the one kane with the Lawler legs is from 2 tuff series 3 with mankind and the other one is either fully loaded series 1 or 2 tuff series 4 with undertaker he was also in the champions 4 pack as well series 8 team corporate kane had a variant version with Lawler legs also I was just going to say that I'm drawing a blank on the Slammers two-sleeve Kane since it's not in my collection, but I think there's my answer. Thanks. I'll have to keep looking for the others to complete my collection (I'm about six shy). The Lawler legs variant might just make things a bit more difficult, but fun nonetheless.

Has there been any rings with cages that Mattel have produced that would work with BCA's?

Has there been any rings with cages that Mattel have produced that would work with BCA's? Here are a couple BCAs in my Mattel ring. This is the same size as all the "spring" rings but I only have the WCW one. They made the Hall of Fame one thats old blue WWF style with blue cage and modern standalone cages. Theres also a Hell in a Cell and Elimination Chamber that fits this size ring. Too smalle for elites, but ok for other stuff or display.

I just can't find it for a price I feel comfortable with

As a customizer that never customized BCA figures, I'd love to hear some tricks of the trade, see tools used, stuff of that nature. Just fascinates me because minus limbs, seems like BCAs are a pain to get apart. This stuff is looking excellent. Can't wait to see it finished!

Great pic, PhiliProDesigns. I'm looking forward to seeing how everything turns out. I just noticed Zack Ryder shared a pic of his own WIP: a BCA figure display. It looks nice. Here's his Twitter post: I know he's a fan of Series 1 Razor, but I'd love to get his take on the line as a whole.

Happened to stumble upon these two at a flea market for $15. Not bad, but as you can see Hall's paint is chipping badly and I'm a little concerned about the kind of paint used, it's not sticky or anything though so it's probably nothing. EDIT: Fixed one of the images, at least.

Did you get the impression that the seller was the one who customized them? Were there any other BCA customs for sale? Thanks for sharing the pics.
