Does anyone use the bodies to make customs out of? If so I have a whole bunch of bodies that I would like to get rid of. They will be on the cheap.

Here's something you don't see everyday. A photograph of Owen and Davey Boy autographing their respective BCA figures in 1997. Credit: eBay seller money_never_sleeps This reminds me of a listing I saw early last year from a seller by the name of cateyetoys69. He had autographed figures of those two for sale and apparently they were from a completely different signing. Forgive me if I've posted this before, but here was the description of that earlier listing: I followed up on it and this is what the seller wrote back: Here is the image of the flyer from that day: I didn't want to inconvenience either of them too much, but I know that the seller of the new listing has pictures with them. I asked about his experience meeting them but he hasn't gotten back yet. Would be funny if they crapped on the BCA figures to him too lol.

Anybody have some idea where I can get a good sized lot of BCA figures to start off a decent collection?

For my first purchase, probably a good many. If like to start out with a good collection. I'd probably be ready to spend at least 100 on my first buys.

If you're not picky about condition, I have a ton I could pass along. I bought a couple of large lots a few months back to build up my own BCA collection but eventually ended up buying them all MOC to open up because I couldn't stand the paint marks, scuffs, etc. Anybody have some idea where I can get a good sized lot of BCA figures to start off a decent collection? eBay or Classifieds would be your best bet. Chicago thanks for posting the Davey and Owen pics. That's really cool. Man I miss seeing those 2 wrestle. Taken way too young. I'm actually meeting Road Warrioe Animal in a few weeks and am hoping to get one of his BCA figs signed.

Im going to be cleaning out some stuff that's still at my parents house. I have a crap ton of BCA figures, some in OK shape..some in "played" shape (I was a kid of course)...Im probably going to unload. When the time comes in the next couple weeks Ill take pics. Id prefer them to go to a collector/fan and not to 2nd hand store somewhere.

Here's something interesting I spotted the other day. It comes from a WWF merchandise catalog released (presumably) in the fall of 1998. Credit: eBay seller ocnj1111_2 It struck me as odd because I didn't remember "Wildman" Marc Mero being advertised with that ring at all the year prior. Then I looked up images I had saved of the original Raw Monster Ring box and it all made sense. I knew my eyes weren't playing tricks on me.

@chicago, GREAT comparison pics. I can't wait to get D'lo to see what his head and breastplate look like on his Nation figure. Cool scans, too! Love your posts!

Here's one for the BCA/Upcoming figures Savant;
Is there any information about how Jakks got the license in 95-96? Like, how much they paid, who else was up for the license, ect. And is it know how long the original contract was for? Was the license up for grabs anytime during that period?

And is it know how long the original contract was for? Was the license up for grabs anytime during that period? Jakks entered into a licensing agreement with Titan Sports, Inc. on October 24, 1995. JusToys was making the Bend-Ems figures for the WWF at the same time and was said to be involved in a dispute over the license as of December '95, so I would imagine they were the most direct competition despite not being on the same 6" figure scale. Jakks was probably at most risk of losing the license after being sued by WWE in 2004, but somehow they stayed together (for the kids?!) until 2009. This article from Forbes Magazine in 1999 might answer a few of your questions about Jakks in the early years:
