RE-RELEASE = 50 John Cena figures that have been released. RE-PAINT = 10,000 Jericho figures that have been released w/ no new head scultps or anything else until the Elimination Chamber Jericho, which had the exact same attire as the Royal Rumble Jericho, so I'll classify those as both Re-releases and re-paints. Here you have pictures of CTL 2-packs series 2 AJ vs. Jarrett and DI series 1 AJ and Jarrett.  Jarrett = Re-Release. Nothing at all is different, exact same attire, color, headscan, boots. Not attempt made to change this figure up, not even a new scan. They just released the exact samefigure in gold, again. Thus, a re-release. AJ = Repaint. One in his white pants, featuring a painted-on beard. The other in his newer blue pants, featuring a the same scan, just painted without the beard. Completly different from the white AJ. It's still an AJ Styles figure, just in a newer attire obviously different from his other. Thus, a repaint. Not the same thing in the least. |

isnt the foley from ctl 1 and deluxe impact 2 pretty much the same as well?

in their first 7 series' (4 Deluxe Impact, 3 Cross The Line) Jakks is re-releasing 2 figures
Jarrett & Samoa Joe.
That's 2 out of 42.
I fail to see the problem here...

to add to the Mattel discussion....
They've re-released a few figures...and some upcoming sets are featuring re-releases.
- Survivor Series Undertaker/Basic 7 Undertaker
- Elimination Chamber Drew McIntyre/Basic 6 Drew McIntyre
- Survivor Series John Cena/Elimination Chamber John Cena (may have to check that one)
- Basic 1 Big Show/2 Pack Series 3 Big Show
- Wrestlemania 26 John Morrison/2 Packs Series 7 John Morrison
in the end...it's really not a big friggin' deal. and some of you need to chill out.
Jakks is making TNA...we're getting good figures of guys like AJ Styles, Sting & Jeff Jarrett...guys who would NEVER have been made properly if this didn't happen.
Mattel is making WWE...pumping out sets like crazy, emptying my wallet, and filling my shelves with some great stuff.

And yet with all the figures Mattel has made so far, they don't have a single re-release. Go figure. WHAT!?!?!?!? Almost every Cena is EXACTLY THE SAME! Every UT is EXACTLY THE SAME. Countless HHH and others. Mattel is full of the same old, same old. Same old, same old? Umm... Jakks didn't even bother to make new molds for their TNA line. They have more of the same old, same old than Mattel. |

I wasn't complaining about Jakks re-releasing figures, I was complaining about them re-packing figures. One new figure with one old one sucks. You shouldn't have to carefully plan ahead to avoid wasting money on duplicates.
And as far as Jakks vs Mattel goes, I don't care, STFU! I like them both. This thread had nothing to do with the WrestlingFigs Civil War until some of you guys started tainting it.
