We could also claim more like our cross state rival, Alabama... I swear, those dumb rednecks will claim anything and everything. A good bit of their titles aren't legit.

Can't wait to see LSU suck royal balls this year. I dont think LSU will be as bad as you think. Ive got them finishing 3rd in the SEC west. Bama, Arkansas, LSU, Auburn, Miss St and then Ole Miss

Go Gators! Won't be a championship season but it's college football so I'm happy.

Marvin Austin suspended. This is only the start of the suspensions Imo. Yup, the possibility of having 16 players not playing in your biggest game of the season in LSU? Things are not looking good for the Heels no doubt. They have the defense or should I say "had" but offense is the question. All I can say is, LSU has got to be happy lol.

Our offense is mediocre and without the defense we're screwed.

I hope that UCONN can do decent in the Big East this year hopefully play in the Pinstripe Bowl or something to that nature.
We have a tough opener w/ Michigan @ "The Big House" but maybe we can pull an upset like we did to the fighting irish last season.
Can't wait for the home opener against Texas Southern.

. CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina has declared six football players ineligible for Saturday’s season-opening game for violating school and/or NCAA rules and is also withholding at least six other student-athletes from Saturday’s game while the investigation continues. The six ineligible student-athletes include: defensive tackle Marvin Austin, cornerback Charles Brown, cornerback Kendric Burney, wide receiver Greg Little, defensive end Michael McAdoo and defensive end Robert Quinn. Six other student-athletes who will be withheld from Saturday’s game include: tailback Shaun Draughn, defensive end Linwan Euwell, safety Brian Gupton, tailback Ryan Houston, safety Da’Norris Searcy and safety Jonathan Smith. The number of games that those 12 student-athletes may miss has not been determined at this time. The investigation continues to include both agent-related and academic issues. The University also continues to work today with the NCAA to determine the eligibility status of three other student-athletes. Those three will not accompany the team to Atlanta on Friday morning. Further information will be announced when a decision on their status for the game is reached.

Its not like UNC had much of a chance of beating LSU anyway. It went from a 2 score ballgame to an "ugly as a bowling shoe" ballgame

Is it not a night game @ LSU? Unless you're a top tier team like Bama, OSU or Florida you only go into those games hoping to keep it close.

Yeah,I wasn't expecting a win but I thought we could keep within 10. Carolina's defense gave it a chance but that's gone. Our offense was mediocre to begin with so losing RB's,and Little really hurts.
Score prediction LSU-35 UNC-3

Yeah games in Atlanta which actually gave the Heels a chance for more of a home field advantage IMO. For all you SEC heads, Spurrier and the Gamecocks aren't looking that bad this season.

I'm watching the Purdue and Notre Dame game. Suprisingly entertaining game despite the low score.

Florida did not impress me at all against Miami. It could be a long year for the Gators if they're not careful. I wish I had a Heisman vote. Randall Cobb is such a beast. I would vote for him 4 straight years.

Are you ing kidding me, Florida? Oregon State/TCU should be pretty good. Will be tuning back and forth between that, NASCAR, and NC/LSU.

So Oregon won 72-0. When did Urban Meyer start coaching there?
