an absolute shame, tbh I never really cared for him but once he returned I liked his work with Cult Fiction and his talent was very good, too bad he's gone at 26, RIP JC Bailey

Always loved JC's style in the ring. He came off different then the typical deathmatch worker, and you can tell even with everything wrong in his life that he LOVED Pro Wrestling. He will be missed without a doubt. I am very saddened to hear this, it truly breaks my heart seeing this happen again. Much like Trent, I hope he has finally found peace.

Man, I really loved watching some of his deathmatches, he is way too young to go. Words can't describe how I feel right now. That's 2 deaths in August now and both them have been under 30.

I remember all of the old bailey fights on here. He wasn't perfect, but he was a good guy in his heart.

Wrestling death’s never come as a shock to anyone. Anyone who’s followed professional wrestling for any length of time know the notorious reputation that “wrestlers die young”. Unfortunately, this is the case with Joseph Carl Bailey Jr. better known as JC Bailey. Through triumph and tragedy, JC Bailey etched a place in our hearts and in our minds with his death defying acts and an ability to take inhumane punishment for the sake of professional wrestling. Today, we mourn the loss of another young wrestler. RIP JC Bailey, you will be missed. Joseph Carl “JC” Bailey August 23rd 1983 - August 30th 2010 In loving memory to our friend lost, B@M!

Wow, this one hurts. I used to be really into the deathmatch scene, and JC was one guy that I continued to like even after I got out of it. I still have him and Mondos match from TOD2 as one of my favorite deathmatchs, hell, even as one of my favorite matches of all time. RIP JC, your in a better place now, where the lighttubes dont hurt, and the barbwire goes on forever.

Are we really using a man's death to advance your own feelings about something that has nothing to do with his actual dying? Some of you people are so self righteous it's not even funny. The guy's been battling his addiction for what seems like ages now, and all some of you can talk about is how "deathmatching needs to end." Get off it.
Sorry to rant, but every time I come to this board I see the same old ****. It's very annoying.
Anyway, RIP Bailey. It's such a shame when people demons end up getting the best of them. It's crazy because it seemed like no matter what he went through in his personal life, he always came back to wrestling. You could tell that it's what he loved to do. Having him back around at TOD this year really made it special. His absence will be felt, that's for sure.

lK, chris hammers, and best in the world need to realize its not CZW that killed him, it was Bailey's heroin addiction for the reason of his death, he did admit in a shoot that jail opened up his eyes the second time he went in. R.I.P. Bailey such a great death match wrestler. I was just mocking chris hammers, kthnxbi.

Well, seeing how he died from conditions that plague both football players and pro wrestlers alike, I'm still going to go with self righteous. On another note, I'm glad that I was wrong about him dying from his abuse. If there's such a thing is good news in this situation, it has to be that he died a clean, sober man.

Great wrestler, sad... Not surprising. Drugs, I presume. Nope, read above.. concussions and other brain abuse. JC had been clean since he went back to prison in 2007. Here's an awesome tribute video my buddy Austin made, that covers up until he went back to prison. It wasn't made as an in memorial, but it serves it's purpose as one quite well. This is how JC would want to be remembered.

if anyones gonna use this thread as their time to bash deathmatch wrestling and JC Bailey for doing it; you. wrestlings ing dangerous no matter what and i personally don't believe crashing through lighttubes gave JC Bailey head trauma... high spots maybe, but you can find that in every type of professional wrestling. this is such a tragedy.
