Desmond Wolfe is expected to be sidelined for at least a few months due to an undisclosed medical situation.
Powell's POV: Wolfe was tightlipped in the locker room at the TNA Impact tapings last week regarding his medical situation that prevented him and Magnus from working the TNA No Surrender pay-per-view. Wolfe was backstage at the Impact tapings last week, but Magnus was not flown in for the shows. There's no word yet on what the company intends to do with Magnus while Wolfe is sidelined.

This sucks. Rumours are, that it's some kind of concussion/head trauma issue:
"-- Regarding the Tag Title match change at No Surrender, the popular belief backstage among many of the TNA wrestlers was that Desmond Wolfe failed a physical due to head trauma/concussion history."

it honestly just sounds like Wolfe has herpes or something. i mean, i love desmond as much as the next guy, but i hear those outbreaks can be pretty bad.

Damn.
He was probably going to be used a jobber anyway. So hopefully he'll be healed just in time for his contract to expire and him to head back to ROH.

It's a shame we didn't know what we know about concussions now, four years ago. Nigel's done a lot of stupid crap over the years.

Please TNA, please do not just dump London Brawling.
If TNA were smart, they would still use Wolfe / Magnus on TV, with promo bits. Have them cut promos on the MCMG's like "We were going to simply sweep those tag belts away from you, but we had a little change of plans. You see, we want you to be sucessful champions. We want you to beat everybody. We want you to win, and get attached to those titles. So that when we decide to beat you, we look all the better doing it. Because, if you look good....WHEN we beat you....we look better."
And have them simply talk down to the MCMG's, and when people question why they aren't challenging them, they just say they are doing things on their terms. The last thing TNA should do is drop a team off the radar because one half of it got injured doing HIS JOB, trying to help the company.

I lost interest in Wolfe when he decided that he had to move at half speed due to his arm injuries. Probably wasn't good to do like eight different versions of a viscous looking lariat in each match for a while. His concussion issues make it even worse for him.

The last thing TNA should do is drop a team off the radar because one half of it got injured doing HIS JOB, trying to help the company. Wolfe's injuries have nothing to do with TNA but more so his days on the indy scene. TNA is being very smart about not putting him on television when you think about all the flack the WWE (and wrestling) gets for making talent work injured and working with possible head injuries since I am sure that's what Wolfe's problem is (that or his arm, or both). TNA doesn't need to push someone on television when you don't know if you can use him anymore. Wolfe can be told tomorrow "Sorry, you can no longer wrestle because you are one bad bump away from being brain dead" and TNA would have put this time into someone they can't use. Why risk it? There is no need to put Wolfe on television as a contender for a championship when we don't know his future at this point. Wolfe signed with TNA because he failed his psychical with the WWE and that was TNA's mistake by signing him even though they knew why he wasn't under a contract and it has come back to haunt him. TNA doesn't need to make the same mistake twice of putting someone on television that just isn't there psychical who could end up getting hurt worse or hurting someone else. This isn't black and white for TNA but shades of grey.
