Fantasy football is full of tiny, weekly battles that will help you win the eventual war. The following projections are to help you win those battles. QB | RB | WR | TEThese numbers are based on a number of factors, each of which is inspected before any projection is made. The most common usage for these projections is to decide who to start and who to sit from week to week. They can also be used if you're in need of a bye-week replacement or a spot-starter in a given week. These projections do not take into account future, so they should not be used for dynasty leagues. The scoring system for these projections may vary from your league, so please inspect not only the "points," category but also how the points are accumulated and how the scoring may vary from your league. The scoring system for these projections is: * 1 point per 25 yards passing * 4 points per passing touchdown * -2 points per passing interception * 1 point per 10 yards rushing * 6 points per rushing touchdown * .5 point per reception * 1 point per 10 yards receiving * 6 points per receiving touchdown

Do I really sit Randy Moss this week? Start Colston and Floyd at WR, with Foster at flex? (Turner and Charles at RB). Also, do I start Neckbeard over Flacco?

It's a matter of how comfortable you feel with the rest of your team, I think. I mean, realistically, Randy Moss hasn't shown that he can beat the Jets' secondary.
Malcom Floyd hasn't shown that he's more than the third option in the passing game, though.

Part of me feels that Randy will be pretty motivated this week, between the trash talk, and the contract situation.

I love Randy Moss. You guys know that.
I just hate the way the Jets drop their entire defense to his side to stop him. It really sucks for fantasy.
I do think Moss gets in the endzone on a catch from inside the 10, though. And he'll probably give Revis a word or two after that, while telling him to "look up at the score board" as the Patriots extend their lead.
Meanwhile, Wes Welker butt-rapes the Jets underneath.

After last week I'm so sick of projections it's not even funny. Projected for 130 and ending up with 74 (and losing by 2 points) really puts a sour taste in your mouth. I think I'm gonna play Vick over Romo and hope he runs for 100 again. I might play Aromashodu over Giants Steve Smith, but I'm not positive. I'm also gonna still play Benson even tho u have him ranked at 45!!!

After last week I'm so sick of projections it's not even funny. Projected for 130 and ending up with 74 (and losing by 2 points) really puts a sour taste in your mouth. It happens. I had Kevin Kolb, Ryan Grant, and Calvin Johnson all in my lineup in TWO leagues last week. Needless to say, that didn't turn out well with all the bad calls and injuries. I think I'm gonna play Vick over Romo and hope he runs for 100 again. I have Vick ranked pretty high so I don't necessarily disagree with it... But I do love Romo's matchup this week. Despite what his stats may have looked like, Romo played really well in week one. His stats would've been much better if not for the holding call to end the game. I might play Aromashodu over Giants Steve Smith, but I'm not positive. Just make sure to look at how often these guys get passed to. I'm also gonna still play Benson even tho u have him ranked at 45!!! My Benson prediction has more to do with me thinking that he's going to be splitting carries this week (due to injury). If he's healthy on Sunday, I'll bump him up.

Klqiuid, with Michael Bush out most likely McFadden is gonna go wild on the Rams.
I got Benson/Moreno/McFadden/Pierre Thomas
I can start 3, who should I start? I HATE HATE HATE sitting high draft picks regardless of match ups
Also
Eddie Royal/Dwayne Bowe/Lee Evans, start 2
I am leaning towards Benson, Thomas, McFadden and Bowe/Royal if hes healthy

Vick has never been a goof fantasy qb. I don't see that changing.

Vick has never been a goof fantasy qb. I don't see that changing. He was the third highest scoring QB in week one, in one half of football.

I have Bradshaw, Greene and Stewart. I know I am going to start Bradshaw, but I am not sure about the other two. Greene was terrible week one as was stewart. But Stewart is playing Tampa. Would I be better off sitting Greene this week? Also Jason Campbell is playing the Rams, yet Alex Smith is projected to get 15 points in my league. I am really confused on who to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I still think I'd go with Shonn Greene, at least until we see Stewart start to get more carries. I do think Stewart is worth holding onto, though.
I'd probably go with Jason Campbell over Alex Smith, but I think it'll be close. I'd look to see what other free agents might be available, over Smith.

I HATE HATE HATE sitting high draft picks regardless of match ups Pay close attention to Cedric Benson's health because he's a quality fantasy back and easily the top guy in this bunch if he's healthy. That said, at the moment, he doesn't appear to be healthy, and should probably be benched until he is. I love Darren McFadden, but I hesitate to say that any player on the Raiders is going to have a huge game. If Bush doesn't play, he's probably going to get a few more touches; but I still don't think he's a great bet to score. I'd go with Moreno and Thomas. They're both the top backs in their offense and should have plenty of opportunities to score. Eddie Royal/Dwayne Bowe/Lee Evans, start 2 I'm catching a lot of flack for this, but I really like Eddie Royal this week. I know it sounds crazy, but if the Broncos continue to use him like they did in week one, he's going to be a solid WR2 this year... Against Seattle, he's a matchup problem waiting to happen. This defense looked good against San Francisco, but they are still wildly inconsistent and don't have a very good secondary. If you can't tell, I think Denver beats Seattle by at least 10 this week. I think the Chiefs have to get Bowe involved in the offense, and the Browns defense is a good time to get started. I hate Lee Evans this week, even though I have him to score a touchdown. That was moreso based on probability that if SOMEONE catches a touchdown, it'll probably be him... But with Charles Woodson on him most of the day, I think it's pretty unlikely that he does much for yardage. Good luck mang!

I hate having quality replacements, I really do.
Probably gonna go with Benson/Thomas/Moreno unless I hear something that makes me wanna put McFadden in, if he does well again, I deal him for a quality WR.
Bowe and Royal, I agree with you on him

Rushing yards = fantasy production. Fact.

Perhaps the 12th and 9th are what stick out in my mind. I'll have to track down the weekly numbers, because I seem to remember his numbers being wildly inconsistent. I despise inconsistency at QB in fantasy.

Yeah, he's certainly very inconsistent, but we're not trying to play him against the Ravens or Jets defense here. I can't really think of a more tailor-made defense for him to go against than the Lions.
If he's awful this week, he'll probably never be a fantasy option again.
