Avatar The Dark Knight Zodiac The Departed Se7en (superb transfer for a 15 year old movie) Which version of Se7en though?? The first version, or the newer released Digibook version?? If you dont like digibooks, Wal-Mart has Se7en in a regular Blu Ray case for $20. Also to add my penny, The Thing and Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas look amazing IMO.

what? it's true. i like blu ray and get a few movies in it just for the initial experience, but it really has nothing to do with the movie quality. Thats not possible! ONLY with Blu-Ray can you see the movie as the director intended. Sure, some people could care less about the sweat on someones head or the vivid colors of an explosion. But Blu-Ray offers much much more! I love how with Blu-Ray you can see the different color tones of a movie much better. Some films are washed out with over saturated colors while some classics maintain detail with small layers of grain! One director that not many people love named Tony Scott has recently made some very awesome LOOKING movies. The way he uses different techniques to make the scene look heavy grained or fast moving. Ive always thought most of his recent movies were average at best but god damn they LOOK very nice. Especially on Blu. Plus the HD audio if your system is capable is amazing! Never before has such classics like Godfather or Blade Runner sounded so clear! You feel even CLOSER to the action! Unless your purposely not looking.. Blu-Ray quality should not be hard to miss to even the most average movie goer. Unless that is, someone feels the need to complain about how they dont want to upgrade from there dvd's so they end up telling people they just cant notice the difference. Now I am not saying that paragraph above is you, but I have noticed that most people that complain usually only do it because they think its to expensive or they dont want to upgrade. They totally neglect what it has to offer.

I was really impressed with what they did with the Bond movies. Dr. No never looked and sounded more amazing.

I do agree with Edgeman. I only upgraded to Blu-Ray last December, and have become addicted since. I don't have any trouble watching DVD's, but if it's available, I will buy a Blu-Ray version of a film over a DVD, irrespective of price differentiation. Have around 80 now, which is certainly not bad.

The Dark Knight is the movie I think everyone with a Blu Ray player has. I also really like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Others worth mentioning I think are the Pirate movies, and Forest Gump. Look amazing and are really good movies.

Plus it doesn't have the Bonus Features. The Dark Knight is the movie I think everyone with a Blu Ray player has. I also really like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Others worth mentioning I think are the Pirate movies, and Forest Gump. Look amazing and are really good movies. I don't have it...yet

I have a couple of blu-ray's so far and everything i have looks amazing, The first one i bought was avatar and it looks incredible on my television,
My brother has a really nice big screen HDTV and he said that the Planet Earth BD's were pretty amazing so i might get that set (very expensive though) Within the next week i plan to go back to FYE and get that Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory BD i passed on last week as it is one of my favorite movies,
If you cant tell the difference between a regular DVD and Blu-Ray (And you're viewing it on an HDTV of course) You need to have your eyes checked!.
