I love how Rooney is now some sort of hero to you United Boys. Lets all love the kid that says his aspirations are bigger than the Clubs and would be open to an offer to City! Suddenly a bigger money offer is on the table and he wants to stay.
He has become bigger than the Club. They've made his name such a Brand that they can't afford to loose him. He made it clear that he wanted to leave, yet they have had no choice but to put out an improved money offer to beg him to stay.

Im mixed about this news as I had turned against him due to his poor attitude. But I will forgive him once he scores a few goals.

I hate to think Fergie begged him to stay I just reacon he convinced him to stay. Its the right move, all the journalists have said so in the past week. Hoping Fergie brings in some players who can make an impact now rather than players who can make an impact in the future. Oh and a new goalkeeper.

I wish Man Utd would have just let him go.

The thing that comes out of this to me is that United are seriously in trouble, in the next 5 years there's gonna be some real trouble.
They probably had to offer Rooney what he wanted or that would have been it, woulda all kicked off.

Apparently the papers say he's getting 250,000 a week from now on. Seems the money is his only motive and it sickens me

So basically, You play like crap, you then turn your back on the team and fans by saying you are going to leave...
and get rewarded with a 250k a week contract?
Pathetic.

Worrying when £100k a week isn't enough for a scouser.

lmao I mustr have spent about £30 on mobile internet keeping tabs on this story.
I'm glad hes staying tbh, but he was stupid being so blunt in public IMO. Not to mention Hernandez has scored 3 goals in 2 games since Wayne said the new signings wern't up to scratch.
