RAW: Opening segment was decent, didn't like DX Duggan but it's fun shtick. Cena-Michaels interaction was very interesting. Haas over "that Highlander guy", I like this push you're giving him. OH NO! Santino...poor guy. Carlito over Holly, I kinda hope this leads to Carlito/Santino winning th belts because they are entertaining right now. HBK over Cade is the right call, yet I feel like you're pushing Cade somewhere and I'm interested to see where. Cena over Lashley by DQ via Kennedy is awesome--doesn't hurt either man and Kennedy/Lashley at NWO sounds good. Diva's match was meh, but the Santino/Maria segment are golden. I like the heels winning the main event and hopefully Orton retains at NWO.
ECW- Loved JBL's opening promo, him on ECW will be awesome. Kofi winning was good, builds him up the ECW ranks. This Punk-JBL fued is very good, two good promos. Henry beating Delaney predictable, used to love the Delaney squash matches. Benjamin-Burke winning was good, I hope Miz and Mo retain though. JBL winning the ECW title was absolutely shocking...hoping for a monster run with the belt!
SD!-I liked the opening promo, glad Punk is now in the mix for the Chamber. Getting him off ECW was an awesome move. Like Miz n' Mo winning, Burke-Benjamin getting the upperhand is good but still want Miz n' Mo to retain. Diva's match didn't do whole lot for me. MVP/Henry winning was good, Henry pinning Batista I'm not too crazy about I feel Finlay should've taken the pin, yet La Famalia's involvement was a nice touch. I like the tag team match made, torn between the United Kingdom and Miz n' Morrison. You've built the UK very well. Punk beating Edge builds him up so much as a legit threat in the Chamber. The kidnapping angle was very very good and has me interested.
Three quality shows, SD was best in my opinion.

WWE Monday Night RAW - Monday 11th February 2008 - Austin, TX NOW IN HD!Dark Match: Vladimir Kozlov def. Val Venis @ 5:10 after the shoulderbreaker. The opening video package for WWE Monday Night RAW aired, and we cut to the sold-out Frank Irwin Arena for the final edition of RAW, six days away from No Way Out! Pyrotechnics went off, as Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcomed us to the show, boasting some big matches for tonight to prepare us for Sunday's Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship! The theme of John Cena hit as we started off RAW tonight to some loud cheers for Cena, the former WWE Champion making his way out to the arena to a positive reaction from the Irwin Arena, Cena darting down to the ring and greeting the fans as he soon grabbed a microphone and began to talk about how it's great to be back, and it's reactions like that that make him glad to be here, performing in front of awesome crowd, such as Austin, Texas. The fans cheered as Cena cut to the point, beginning to talk about how he's still not pleased with the revenge that he got on Randy Orton two weeks ago on RAW, when he delivered an FU to the WWE Champion in an Unsanctioned match. He talked about how Orton almost ended his career back in October, and that his business with the "One Man Dynasty" is far from over! Which is why this Sunday at No Way Out, he's going to overcome the other four challengers and cut it down to him and Orton, with Cena putting Orton through the same hell that Orton put him through for four months - in one night! Cena mentioned that he would make Orton bleed, suffer, and he'd hunt him down and beat him to take his WWE Championship! The fans cheered as they approved, however that was only limited, as the theme of Jeff Hardy hit! The fans roared whilst Jeff Hardy made his way out to the rampway, then walking down to the ring as the "Charismatic Enigma" took a microphone and smiled at John Cena, Jeff talking about how Cena claims that it'll be an easy feat for him to make it into the final two with Randy Orton. But Cena is missing out some serious factors here; what if Cena is by chance eliminated from the match prior to this? Or what if it comes down to two men, Cena and Jeff Hardy! The fans cheered, as Cena raised an eyebrow, Hardy talking about how Cena came across as looking past Hardy, Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Umaga as if they were mere pushovers, but they're as good as Cena, and it's now 2008; the Year of Jeff Hardy! The fans cheered, tied between the two babyfaces, as Cena told Hardy that there was no disrespect intended, but the drive that has brought Cena to this dance on Sunday has brought him to NEED that retribution, that revenge. And more importantly that WWE Championship. Cena told Jeff that he knows he has a passion, but so does Cena. The two fan favourites came face to face, but they were then interrupted by the theme of the RAW General Manager, William Regal! Regal tried to calm the two down, as he made note that tonight we would see three matches between the six participants of this Sunday's Elimination Chamber. And by luck, he assigned these two to have a match, tonight in our main event! Regal told the two to chill out, because after tonight, and after Sunday, we will see who walked through Hell! Cena and Hardy glared at each other before Hardy left. | COMMERCIAL BREAK |An advertisement aired, promoting the fact that we were only 48 days away from WWE WrestleMania XXIV, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, March 30th 2008 from Orlando, Florida. We went to ringside, as Mr Kennedy made his way down to ringside, the WWE Intercontinental Champion taking a seat at commentary with Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler to spectate this upcoming match between Bobby Lashley and Umaga. 1) Bobby Lashley def. Umaga @ 7:12This was our first of three Elimination Chamber preparation matches for the evening, as the "Samoan Bulldozer" was originally supposed to face Triple H, however due to family emergency purposes, he had to pull out of the show. This didn't give Umaga an easy night however, as instead we embarked upon a WrestleMania 23 rematch, Bobby Lashley keeping eyes in the back of his head in case of an attempted interference from his opponent for this Sunday, Mr Kennedy. Kennedy slandered Lashley on commentary, as Lashley stuck in there with Umaga, several shoulder blocks taking Umaga off of his feet, but Umaga soon fired back and applied a nerve pinch on Lashley, keeping him down until the fans cheered him on, and Lashley made a comeback, an impressive powerslam putting Lashley back in control. Lashley soon set up for the Spear, but Kennedy got on the apron, Lashley knocking him down, and Umaga splashed Lashley into the corner! Umaga went for the Samoan Spike, but the "Samoan Bulldozer" missed and Bobby Lashley came off of the ropes with a Spear, giving him the victory! The fans cheered as Bobby Lashley had got one over on his former rival Umaga, as Mr Kennedy stood at ringside watching on, staring down the man he would face this Sunday for the WWE Intercontinental Championship! But that's when Lashley took his eyes off of Umaga, and Umaga came back with the Polish hammer to Lashley! Umaga followed up with the Wild Samoan Splash from the top rope, and this savage had gotten payback, and momentum going into the Elimination Chamber this Sunday. We cut to the backstage area as Santino Marella was shown lacing up his boots whilst Carlito appeared, patting Marella on the shoulder and trying to talk him past the Maria breakup, and to focus on beating Cody Rhodes tonight. Santino complied, as he marched on out of the room. That's when Carlito checked his watch, and Marella strutted back in, realizing that he only had one shoe on. Shawn Michaels was then shown arriving at the arena, as the "Heartbreak Kid" looked a little discontent after failing to find the man that attacked Ric Flair at the Royal Rumble last week. HBK will be in action tonight in an Elimination Chamber preview match against his former rival, Randy Orton! | COMMERCIAL BREAK |In the backstage area, Todd Grisham was shown standing by with the WWE Champion, Randy Orton. Grisham asked Orton about his thoughts about John Cena and getting ready for the "One Man Dynasty"s match tonight against Shawn Michaels. Orton told Grisham that Cena can talk as much as he wants about revenge, but the fact is that whatever Cena does he will never be able to take down the "Viper". Orton reminded Grisham of when he punted John Cena's father in the skull, and that he'd do it again if Cena even tried to get the WWE Championship away from the "One Man Dynasty". As far as Shawn Michaels goes, he has defeated him time after time, and he has become a "Legend Killer" for it. But that "Legend Killer" became a fellow "Legend", and this Sunday, this "Legend" will not become the hunted; at No Way Out he'll be entering and leaving the Elimination Chamber as the WWE Champion! 2) Santino Marella (w/Carlito) def. Cody Rhodes (w/Hardcore Holly) @ 4:28This was a singular variation of what we should have seen last Monday night on RAW, as Santino Marella was actually in action this week, on the heels of his breakup with Maria, taking on one-half of the World Tag Team Champions. The rookie, Cody Rhodes managed to get some offence in on Santino, but it was Marella and his comically sneaky comebacks that put Marella in the driver's seat. Santino stomped away at Cody and wore him down, even applying a Camel Clutch at one point, but Cody soon broke free and went for the Silver Spoon DDT, just for it to backfire as Santino reversed it into a northern lights suplex, bridging with the bottom rope for the three! Santino Marella was helped out of the ring by Carlito as the crowd booed, Marella with his arm around Carlito and emotionally yelling "THIS ONE'S FOR YOU, MARIA!" at the camera. Meanwhile, Hardcore Holly aided to Cody Rhodes, as the World Tag Team Champions certainly had to watch out for these two. In the backstage area we saw Lance Cade warming up for action later on against a fellow student of Shawn Michaels, Paul London. But before that, Trevor Murdoch walked in, as he asked Cade what the ignorance was all about last week. Cade smirked as he told Murdoch that he was always looking back on the past, then noting what they had accomplished as a tag team in the past three years. Next to nothing, a few World Tag Team Championship reigns; but Cade realized how Murdoch was always holding him back. So he's dropped him and he doesn't need him anymore! Cade walked away, Murdoch left looking disheartened. In the backstage area, we saw the new ECW Champion, as John Bradshaw Layfield seemed to be heading out to the Frank Irwin Arena to speak about his recent invasion of ECW, and business with CM Punk, next! | COMMERCIAL BREAK |The crowd booed as the theme of John Bradshaw Layfield hit, and with that seconds later came out the new ECW Champion in his limousine. The "Wrestling God" confidently made his way out of the limousine and walked down to the ring slowly, as Layfield raised his title belt high before taking a microphone to be met with louder boos. JBL talked about how he has single-handedly taken the prize of the ECW brand away, and brought it over to Monday Night RAW. He talked about how he was one of the greatest guys to step foot in this ring, and that explains how much of a "Wrestling God" he was. He took CM Punk, their ECW Champion, and made him look like an everyday nobody in the matter of fifteen minutes last Tuesday night. Because that's what ECW stars where; superstars that come off of their wrestling school routes, without paying any damned dues, and going through the independent circuit just to wind up on ECW to try and make a name for themselves! But not anymore. As ECW Champion, Layfield wanted to wipe the Land of Extreme clean from these hacks, or at least make them pay their dues. Layfield added, stating that it was obvious it would take a while for somebody to knock the "Wrestling God" down and regain this title, so he's not wasting any time in running his mouth. Layfield then added again, stating that he welcomed anybody from RAW or ECW to challenge him for the ECW World Championship, because JBL knew he would defeat them. The theme of Chris Jericho then hit, causing the Austin, Texas crowd to pop loudly, Y2J making his way out from the backstage area, as the Royal Rumble winner walked down the rampway to the ring with a huge smile on his face, as Jericho climbed into the ring to join JBL. Jericho took a microphone as well, as he mentioned how reminiscent this was, that these two were in the ring. Especially since...approximately two weeks ago at the Royal Rumble, Chris Jericho defeated John Bradshaw Layfield to get into the Rumble match, which Y2J would take the opportunity to win! JBL responded, claiming that one mistake cost him that match, if Layfield avoided that mistake, he'd have won, and won the Royal Rumble match much like Y2J did! Jericho laughed it off, as he told Layfield that he only wanted the ECW Championship because he knew he would be happier being a bully over on his old breeding grounds, because he would just get bullied against guys like Y2J! Jericho smiled as Layfield told Y2J not to push it, because he'd wind up much like CM Punk did last Tuesday night. Jericho told Layfield that he'd be happy to be. He didn't need his title shots though, because he had bigger fish to fry, as he would announce who he'd be facing at WrestleMania XXIV this Sunday! Jericho then left Layfield in purgatory, stating that he might even challenge JBL. Y2J left to a huge pop, as Layfield remained in the ring, trying to reassure the crowd that he was nothing like that. JBL talked about proving it, which is why this Sunday on No Way Out, he would defend that title belt. Who against? He'd reveal that tomorrow night on ECW! Layfield then dropped the mic and made his way out of the ring, the crowd continuing to boo the new ECW Champion. Meanwhile, we cut to a splitscreen showing Randy Orton and Shawn Michaels making their way to the ring, and in several moments, their rivalry would be back on! The 2007 Survivor Series rematch was up next. | COMMERCIAL BREAK |Shawn Michaels made his way down to the ring, strutting as the fans were loving the "Heartbreak Kid" tonight. HBK climbed into the ring and quickly grabbed a microphone, talking about how he was looking forward to this week, because tonight he'd be kicking Randy Orton's teeth down his throat, and Sunday, he'd be surviving the Elimination Chamber match once again to win the WWE Championship! But another thing will happen this next week, and that's the surveillance tape from Madison Square Garden, as we will finally get to see who attacked Ric Flair last month at the Royal Rumble! HBK talked about how he received the call stating it'd be in the post, and that footage will be revealed next Monday night on RAW. Michaels dropped the microphone, as we cut away. An advertisement aired, promoting WWE No Way Out, live on pay-per-view this Sunday night from Las Vegas, Nevada. 3) Randy Orton def. Shawn Michaels in a non-title match @ 10:41A heated match was expected, as Shawn Michaels didn't waste any time in starting off in combat against the WWE Champion, Randy Orton. These two fought at the Survivor Series last November, and this Sunday they would be two of the six participants in the Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out. The "Heartbreak Kid" chopped away at Orton in the opening moments, but Orton soon fired back, delivering several uppercuts to HBK. Michaels then came back off the ropes, Michaels with a huge flying clothesline on Orton. Shawn Michaels was fired up as Orton backed up, but whilst Orton took a breather, Shawn took it upon himself to take a suicide dive over the top rope at the "One Man Dynasty"! Michaels was all pumped up, as he continued to beat down on Orton until the "Viper" arm dragged Michaels right into the barricade, followed up with a hiptoss right outside on the floor! Orton continued the beatdown in the ring, applying a sleeper hold, but just when HBK seemed to nearly be done, Shawn fired back, delivering an inverted atomic drop to Orton, going for the Sweet Chin Music, but Orton ducked and went for the RKO, but Michaels sent Orton down! HBK soon went for another Sweet Chin Music, but Orton fell out of the ring! HBK chased the "Viper" to the floor, picking him up, but Orton sent Shawn head first into the steel steps! The scene looked dramatic, as Orton then delivered an RKO to Michaels in the ring to score the three! The crowd booed loudly as Randy Orton celebrated his win as WWE Champion, and the "Viper" seemed very twisted, confident and mentally prepared for the Elimination Chamber match this Sunday at No Way Out. | COMMERCIAL BREAK |We returned to RAW as Maria was shown walking around the backstage area, until she suddenly walked into Santino Marella, as Santino watched Maria go past before telling her he missed her. Maria looked back at Santino, as he tried to look somewhere else, Maria then walking back over to him, telling him that she missed him too, but this change was good for her. Santino asked how it was, mentioning how his life was falling apart. Maria then asked why, when Santino and Carlito suddenly became top contenders to the World Tag Team Championships, whilst she is going on the cover of Playboy magazine! The crowd awed as Santino gasped, covering his mouth with his hands before turning his back to Maria and telling her that he wouldn't associate with girl that showed off her "bodeh" for plenty of men to touch themselves over. Santino away as Maria told him to come back, a look of concern on her face. 4) Beth Phoenix def. Ashley in a non-title match @ 3:33This match was an interesting one, was we had just heard that Maria was going to be on the cover of Playboy Magazine in April, whilst Ashley was featured last April. The "Glamazon" exchanged blows with Ashley in the early moments, as Beth Phoenix then started to pound away at Ashley, throwing her around the ring as if she were a ragdoll. Ashley only managed to get in a few lefts and rights, but Phoenix managed to get back in control, once again showing off an impressive streak of wins with a fisherman suplex connecting on Ashley for the win. The crowd booed as Beth Phoenix celebrated her win, the official handing the "Glamazon" her WWE Womens Championship. Phoenix continued to celebrate her win, but that was dramatically cut short when Candice Michelle ran down to the ring, Candice with a clothesline to Beth, followed by the Candywrapper! Phoenix rolled out of the ring as quick as she could, as Candice Michelle had returned after being sidelined since October thanks to Beth Phoenix! Michelle motioned that she wanted the WWE Womens Championship as Beth cowered on her way to the backstage area. | COMMERCIAL BREAK |A vignette aired, focused around Triple H and his various wars over the past decade, how he fought in Ladder matches, Steel-Cage matches, Hell in a Cell matches, and even the original Elimination Chamber match. The "Cerebral Assassin" talked about how he was out to win the WWE Championship from Randy Orton this Sunday at No Way Out. And not even Shawn Michaels, his opponent yet long time friend could stop him. Triple H was geared and ready for combat this Sunday in the Elimination Chamber. 5) Lance Cade def. Paul London @ 5:18This was a great back and forth encounter between two students of Shawn Michaels, as Lance Cade came out wearing a "I'M THE BEST" shirt, simple and black with white font. Cade started off by taking London down, using some outstanding matwork to get the advantage over London. London soon made a comeback however, as Paul London responded with several kicks to the shins, going for a snap suplex, but Cade reversed it into a suplex of his own. Cade stomped away at London, pounding away at Paul several moments after. Cade had London where he wanted him, but London fired back, a hurricanrana sending Cade over the top rope; but the self-proclaimed best skinned the cat, and strutted to follow it, just to have his head taken off with the enzuigiri! London then went up for a 450 Splash, but Cade managed to get his knees up, Cade following up with the Redneck Bomb for the three! Lance Cade celebrated his win to boos, as Cade had proven right here how impressive he truly was. Cade smiled into the camera, as this one time World Tag Team Champion had let his ego get a hold of him, as he strutted out of the ring and up the rampway, bowing to the crowd amongst boos. We soon went to the backstage area, as Bobby Lashley was stood with Mike Adamle, Adamle asking Lashley for his thoughts going into Sunday's challenge against the WWE Intercontinental Champion, Mr Kennedy. Lashley told Adamle that he's never been a fan of Mr Kennedy, and that he wanted to take advantage of his injury and take him out of action just added to that. Lashley told Adamle that this Sunday, he'd be leaving No Way Out as the Intercontinental Champion. And Mr Kennedy? Injured! Lashley was hyped, and wanting Kennedy's blood. In the backstage area we saw Jeff Hardy and John Cena walking down different corridors, and in just a few short minutes, these two fan favourites would be taking it to each other, as our main event was up next! | COMMERCIAL BREAK |We returned to see Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler at ringside, as they spoke about No Way Out in six days, the official theme song being "Fake It" by Seether from their 'Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces' album. They hyped up the current card for the show, as the "Rated R Superstar" defends the World Heavyweight Championship against the "Animal" Batista; Randy Orton will defend the WWE Championship against Jeff Hardy, Triple H, Umaga, John Cena and Shawn Michaels in RAW's Elimination Chamber match; In SmackDown's Elimination Chamber match, the Undertaker, Mark Henry, Finlay, MVP, CM Punk and Kane will all fight for contention to the World Heavyweight Championship, and the SmackDown main event at WrestleMania XXIV! Plus, we will hear which championship Chris Jericho will challenge for at WrestleMania, and as we have just learned, John Morrison and the Miz will prove their success in a Four-Corner Elimination match for the WWE Tag Team Championships against Jesse and Festus, Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke & the United Kingdom! All in nine days on pay-per-view. 6) John Cena vs Jeff Hardy; went to a no contest @ 8:36This was an anticipated main event, as two of the top stars on RAW fought back and forth in the main event of Monday Night RAW, with six days wait until their Elimination Chamber match this Sunday at No Way Out; the winner going into WrestleMania XXIV for the WWE Championship. Cena started things off with several of his lefts and rights, Hardy responding with some of his own, as the "Charismatic Enigma" used his amazing agility to counter act against Cena's raw strength and quickness as well. These two clashed several times, as the crowd were split right down the middle, Cena with his hiptoss, but missing the Five Knuckle Shuffle, and Hardy went for his Twist of Fate, just for Cena to reverse it into his inverted backdrop. The action continued as Cena went for the FU just for Hardy to reverse it into an arm drag, and in response Cena moved out of the way as Jeff came off of the top rope with the Swanton Bomb. The two continued their brawl until Randy Orton rushed down to the ring as Cena had Hardy in the STFU, Orton punting the official! Randy then laid Cena out with an RKO, as he stomped away at the defenseless Hardy. But suddenly the cavalry came down to the ring, Shawn Michaels rushing down and trading blows with Orton on the heels of their match earlier tonight! Umaga then came down to the ring as well, as the "Samoan Bulldozer" went down to join in as well, Umaga teaming up with Orton to take out Shawn Michaels, but that's when Umaga nailed Orton with the Samoan Spike! But in response, Umaga went to clothesline HBK, and Shawn connected with Sweet Chin Music! As I've said before, can't wait to see where you use Vladimir Kozlov once he's actually on the roster. An interesting opening segment, but even after that, I don't see either man leaving as the WWE Champion at No Way Out, but their match should be good tonight. A huge victory for Bobby Lashley over Umaga, but I loved the post-match attack by Umaga, thanks to Mr. Kennedy's distraction. I wouldn't mind seeing Lashley take the belt from Kennedy, tbh. A solid interview with Randy Orton, and I see him retaining the title in the Elimination Chamber. A brilliant victory for Santino Marella over Cody Rhodes, but I just find it hard to think back to Marella's heel days, he and Carlito just strike me as such a face team, haha. Good to see the Lance Cade/Trevor Murdoch confrontation, Murdoch is pretty much useless without Cade. Loved the JBL segment, and I forgot that Chris Jericho can also choose the ECW Championship for his WrestleMania title shot. Now that would be a shocker, but highly doubtful. I wonder who JBL will defend against at No Way Out? A good victory for the WWE Champion over Shawn Michaels, but all this Orton success is making me wonder if he will actually retain, or if we'll have a new Champion on our hands. Pleased to see Beth Phoenix defeat Trashley, and god forbid Candice Michelle wins the belt - what a terrible Diva she was. I hated most Divas from this era besides Beth Phoenix and Mickie James. An obvious victory for Lance Cade, he deserves to be pushed to the moon. A no contest finish was the best way to go for these two fan favourites, and the chaotic ending was typical of the final Raw before the Elimination Chamber Match. Shawn Michaels standing tall is always good to see, and on a side note, I hope Umaga does well in the Chamber.

RAW Review
Cena's opening promo he is focused on revenge on my man Randy Orton but he is not going to get revenge, because if Orton could put Cena on the shelf once, he could definitely do it again and then Jeff Hardy interrupting Cena telling him that he also has unfinished business with my man Orton and that 2008 will be the year of Jeff Hardy and that no disrespect John but Cena what if you do get eliminated before Jeff gets into the match? I love what Jeff Hardy said to Cena but Cena is determined to get it down to him and Orton in the Chamber, but I am really looking forward to Cena vs Hardy First Time Ever, this is like a dream match-up here and it is finally happening
Bobby Lashley beats Umaga, WrestleMania 23 rematch and I love how Lashley is picking up momentum for No Way Out because he is going to need it especially if he is going to be facing Mr. Kennedy for the IC Title, and then afterwards Umaga attacks Lashley and leaves him laying after the match, now that was great
Orton's promo I loved that a whole lot as well as Michaels backstage and then Santino backstage too was awesome
Santino beating Rhodes was great, please tell me you are going to finally have Rhodes turn on Holly and he can become a heel
JBL the new ECW Champion gracing us with his presence on RAW and then cutting his promo on RAW about winning the ECW Title and then Jericho interrupting by reminding him that Jericho could choose to face JBL for the ECW Championship, so JBL should not get too comfortable being ECW Champion because if Jericho chooses him, then it's curtains for him
JBL then says he will announce who will face him tomorrow night on ECW, I wonder who his #1 Contender will be
Jericho announces that he will make his decision at the Elimination Chamber pay per view, so I wonder will Jericho have the night off, or will he have a match at the pay per view
My man Randy Orton beating Shawn Michaels, I love how my man Orton is picking up momentum, no one, and nothing can beat him, he is a One Man Dynasty, he is a Viper
Beth Phoenix beating Ashley, I loved that too
As well as Lance Cade beating Paul London
And in the main event Jeff Hardy and John Cena first time ever it goes to a no contest because Orton my man got involved, and then Umaga and then HBK and it all just breaking loose, if HHH were there, it would have broken loose even more

ECW on Sci-Fi - Tuesday 11th February 2008 - Houston, TX NOW IN HD!A replay from last week's episode of ECW on Sci-Fi aired, as CM Punk was challenged to a match for his ECW World Championship by RAW superstar, John Bradshaw Layfield, who had bought his way to the title match, paying Armando Estrada to book it. Punk gave it his all, but JBL came out victorious with thanks to the World Heavyweight Champion, Edge. On RAW last night, JBL revealed why he's done it, talking about his hatred for ECW, and how it is now home to a man willing to "help the younger superstars pay their dues" as their ECW Champion! Tonight, we will find out the next number one contender to the ECW Championship! The opening video package for ECW on Sci-Fi aired, and we then cut to the sold-out Toyota Center in Houston, Texas for the final episode of ECW on Sci-Fi before No Way Out! Pyrotechnics went off, as Joey Styles and Tazz welcomed us to the show, revealing a huge main event battle royal to determine the next number one contender to the ECW Championship! The crowd booed, as suddenly the theme of the new ECW Champion hit, and out came the "Wrestling God" himself, John Bradshaw Layfield led out to loud boos from this capacity crowd. JBL made his way out of his limousine and down the rampway to the ring, as Layfield took a microphone, talking about how he won the ECW Championship for a reason, and that was to dominate ECW, to monopolize this brand and make it better than the stupid, garbage smash-mouth style piece of crap it once resembled! Layfield is here to make a good change, and he did it. No longer will we see the so-called "Straight Edge Superstar" CM Punk throw fatasses like Big Daddy V through tables, or mid-aged maniacs like Tommy Dreamer nail people with singapore canes because he's angry. This is the Land of Extreme no more; but instead the Land of Layfield! The crowd booed, as Layfield welcomed everybody on ECW to a new era. However that was soon interrupted by the theme of Tommy Dreamer, as the "Innovator of Violence" himself made his way out to the rampway, asking Layfield what he had against ECW, when around the same time of good old ECW, Bradshaw was walking around acting like a badass in the hardcore division in the WWE! Dreamer challenged JBL to a match here and now, and he didn't need any singapore canes to help him either! Layfield accepted, telling him he would be glad to kick Dreamer's ass across Texas one more time. An advertisement aired, promoting WWE No Way Out, live on pay-per-view this Sunday from Las Vegas, Nevada. 1) John Bradshaw Layfield def. Tommy Dreamer in a non-title match @ 7:20As we returned from the break, John Bradshaw Layfield had Tommy Dreamer under control, with Dreamer managing to throw some lefts and rights to fire back, then whipping Layfield off of the ropes, taking the ECW Champion down to the canvas hard with a clothesline! Dreamer then followed up with another clothesline as the fans in Houston were solely behind the "Innovator of Violence"! Dreamer continued his attack on Layfield, cornering JBL but Layfield used a smart trick, as the official ordered a break from the shoulder thrusts, Layfield poking Dreamer in the eye and working over Dreamer from there. Layfield continued with a backbreaker and several chops to Tommy before the ECW Original once again fired back, and Dreamer continued to connect his patented DDT, covering just for Layfield to get a sly foot on the bottom rope! Dreamer got frustrated as he prepared to take JBL up for the Dreamer Driver, but Layfield slid out and went for the Clothesline From Hell, Dreamer dodging and going for another DDT, but Layfield slipped out, the Clothesline From Hell putting the ECW Original down for three! The crowd booed as John Bradshaw Layfield celebrated his win as the official handed him his ECW Championship belt, raising it high after a victory against a former ECW Champion himself, Tommy Dreamer. Layfield rolled out of the ring and headed for the back, as still to come was a battle royal to determine who would go on to face JBL for the ECW title this Sunday at No Way Out! | COMMERCIAL BREAK |We returned to see John Bradshaw Layfield being congratulated by Armando Estrada, the ECW General Manager happily welcoming the "Wrestling God" to ECW and that he hoped he would change everything for the better. JBL shook his hand and assured him that his intentions were positive, then walking into CM Punk, the "Straight Edge Superstar" telling Layfield that he wanted to thank him for taking his ECW Championship last week, because now he can go on to win the World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday at No Way Out. But if by any chance he fails in that quest, he's coming back for Layfield. Layfield nodded, smirking confidently before leaving. 2) Mike Knox and Layla def. Balls Mahoney and Kelly Kelly @ 3:46This was an intergender tag team match, and it actually had history, as we don't currently know the relationship that Balls Mahoney and Kelly Kelly have, if it's a friendship or a relationship, but Mike Knox was once the boyfriend of the hot blonde, now teaming with her former Extreme Exposé ally, Layla. Knox and Balls started, as Mahoney managed to get in several punches on Knox, but Knox soon fired back, clotheslining the hell out of Balls Mahoney! Knox worked over Balls before tagging in Layla, who proceeded in adding insult to injury; a stinkface delivered to Balls! Knox then continued the attack before Mahoney fired back with a dropkick out of nowhere, Kelly Kelly getting the tag! Kelly ran in and took Layla down with a clothesline, an armdrag and a dropkick before Balls came in, Knox got the blind tag from Layla meanwhile. Balls traded blows with Knox until Knox took him down with an STO whilst Kelly gave Layla a stinkface this time. But she was terrified as she was given the Knox Out from Mike! The crowd booed as Knox looked over her evilly, covering for the three. Mike Knox celebrated his win as Layla's arm was raised in victory as well, the two leaving Balls Mahoney to attend to an unconscious Kelly Kelly; as if Knox would put his hands on his ex girlfriend! In the backstage area we see Big Daddy V with Matt Striker, as Striker told the "Mastodon" to keep his eyes on the prize tonight, another ECW Championship opportunity, and to join Mark Henry in bringing home some World Championship gold this Sunday at No Way Out. Big Daddy V then told Striker that he wasn't 100% concerned with the battle royal, he can win it easily; what he's concerned with is facing the Brothers of Destruction this Friday on SmackDown. V walked away, looking quite conscious of his surroundings whilst Striker was left looking in awe. | COMMERCIAL BREAK |3) Elijah Burke (w/Shelton Benjamin) def. The Miz (w/John Morrison) @ 5:22A preparation match of sorts for this Sunday at No Way Out, as these four men involved with this match would be going to compete in a Four Corner Elimination match this Sunday at No Way Out, with John Morrison and The Miz's WWE Tag Team Championships on the line. The "Elijah Experience" got a positive reaction as did the "Gold Standard", Burke starting off with some heavy hitting punches to the "Chick Magnet", Miz soon firing back with held from Morrison, and Miz started choking Burke, working over the head of Burke, a backdrop followed up with a huge elbow drop from the second rope. Miz tried to set up the Reality Check, but Burke avoided it, the backslide giving Burke the win! Elijah Burke celebrated his win as the Miz was left looking in anger, Shelton Benjamin joining Burke in victory as John Morrison helped Miz out of the ring, the WWE Tag Team Champions left looking quite upset, and rightfully so as that tiny fault from Miz or Morrison could eliminate them from the Four Corner Elimination match this Sunday! We were then reminded of some eight man tag team action this Friday on SmackDown featuring these four men, Jesse and Festus, and the United Kingdom! We cut to the backstage area where Chavo Guerrero, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, the Great Khali, Dave Taylor, Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore, and Chuck Palumbo and Jamie Noble were shown walking down different corridors in the Toyota Center, and the number one contender's battle royal was up next! | COMMERCIAL BREAK |4) Kofi Kingston won a Battle Royal to gain contention to the ECW Championship @ 11:20This match consisted every WWE superstars from RAW, ECW and SmackDown not yet involved in a match at No Way Out this Sunday, as Paul London and Brian Kendrick were quickly eliminated by the towering Great Khali as per usual playing the giant in this match. The "Punjabian Giant" teamed up with Big Daddy V in this match as well, Khali Chops for several people followed by the Ghetto Drop, but the match quickly filed down, especially when most of the remaining participants teamed up to eliminate the Great Khali! The match eventually came down to four superstars, as Kofi Kingston and Big Daddy V from ECW remained in there with Carlito from RAW and Chavo Guerrero from SmackDown; Kofi managing to topple Chavo over the top rope in the opening moments of the four's meeting! Big Daddy V then dominated Kofi with Carlito, Carlito and Big Daddy V double teaming Kofi in the corner, but the underdog, the undefeated "Jamaican Sensation" managed to come back, the Boom Drop taking Carlito down before he stunned the "Mastodon" with a hard Trouble in Paradise! Carlito took this opportunity though, trying for the Backstabber just for Kofi to back up over the ropes and Carlito went over! Kofi was then isolated by V, who delivered a sidewalk slam on the rookie, followed up with the big leg drop from Big Daddy V, but as V went to fireman's carry Kofi out of the match to win this battle royal, Kofi hung on in a headscissors position, Kofi managing to get V over for the miraculous win! Kofi Kingston celebrated his win to a huge response, as the undefeated rookie, the "Jamaican Sensation" was going to face the ECW Champion, John Bradshaw Layfield at No Way Out! Kofi clapped his hands to a great reaction, this rookie having caught a great reaction from the fans, but that's when John Bradshaw Layfield snuck down to ringside, the Clothesline From Hell toppling Kofi onto his head! The crowd booed, as John Bradshaw Layfield continued, stepping on the back of Kofi's back, holding the ECW Championship high! But is this what we can expect this Sunday, with Layfield making Kofi pay his dues? ECW on Sci-Fi goes off the air.

- JBL cutting a promo about winning the ECW Title last week from Punk and how he is going to turn ECW into a brand that people won't look down upon but instead turn it into a brand that will be his brand to dominate and that it doesn't matter who faces him at No Way Out and that he will do what he always does and that's win until he is interrupted by Tommy Dreamer and then it leading to a match between them
- JBL beating Dreamer just proves that JBL is here to stay on ECW and that he will be the longest-reigning ECW Champion in history and that there will be a #1 Contender's Battle Royal to determine who will face JBL at No Way Out for the ECW Championship, I can't wait
- Punk telling JBL that he should thank him for beating him because now Punk can set his sights on the World Heavyweight Championship at No Way Out in the Smackdown Elimination Chamber but that if he should fail, he is coming after JBL again and JBL acting confident that he is going to beat Punk again
- Mike Knox and Layla beating Balls Mahoney & Kelly Kelly, this is personal, Knox putting his hands on his ex giving her the Knox Out, that was great
- Burke beating Miz was great also
- Kofi Kingston winning the Battle Royal to become the new #1 Contender for the ECW Title, he will get his chance at No Way Out against JBL and then JBL attacking Kofi after the match was great
- Now I can't wait until Smackdown

I enjoyed the opening segment as it really builds up to No Way Out and maybe even the RAW main event at WrestleMania. If Orton somehow retains, both Hardy and Cena seem the most likely to challenge him if Jericho chooses to go to SmackDown. Nice WrestleMania 23 rematch between Lashley and Umaga and good build-up for the Intercontinental Championship match between Lashley and Mr. Kennedy. I sense Cody Rhodes turning heel on Hardcore Holly with the way things are going with them in their feud with Santino Marella and Carlito. Nice segment with Lance Cade dropping the dead weight in Trevor Murdoch. IMO, John Bradshaw Layfield is the ultimate villain for anyone representing ECW and he's even more villainous now that's he the ECW World Champion. Having him hold the championship gives ECW a strong main event heel as well as establishes the credibility of the ECW World Championship, considering he's one the longest reigning WWE Champions of the last decade. Great match between Orton and Shawn Michaels and I can't wait to see who attacked Ric Flair. I'm going to go with a longshot and say it was Michaels. I just sense a twist here with that. Enjoyed seeing Beth Phoenix beat Ashley and the return of Candice Michelle. Lance Cade over Paul London was a good call as well as it builds up Cade as a singles star. Good match-up between Hardy and Cena and good decision to have a no-contest so neither man really loses momentum. Good way to end the show featuring five of the six in the RAW Elimination Chamber match. Great show!
Like I said before, JBL can be the top heel in ECW and him beating an Original in Tommy Dreamer helps establish that. Also liked the interaction between him and Punk, considering there is unfinished business between them. Perhaps a match at WrestleMania? Looks like you're revisiting the storyline between Kelly Kelly and Mike Knox. That could be good. You did a great job turning Elijah Burke and Shelton Benjamin into faces and the feud with the Miz and John Morrison is awesome. Nice to see the young and hungry Kofi Kingston get his shot at JBL and the ECW World Championship. This could really raise Kofi's stock if he puts in a good showing at No Way Out. Great show!

WWE SmackDown! - Friday 15th February 2008 - Houston, TX Dark Match: Chuck Palumbo & Jamie Noble def. Kenny Dykstra & Nic Nemeth @ 5:20 after the Crack In Da Mouth by Deuce on Nemeth.A replay from last Friday night on SmackDown aired, where La Familia interrupted Theodore Long as he announced the six participants for the Elimination Chamber match this Sunday at No Way Out. But as the night went on, Long continued to put a thorn in La Familia's side, the new Co-General Manager organizing CM Punk vs Edge in the main event. Meanwhile, Batista and Finlay were doing well against Mark Henry and MVP, three of the superstars involved with the Chamber match this Sunday, when the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship, Batista was suddenly attacked by Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins, causing Batista and Finlay to lose their match. But Batista got revenge on Edge, as he helped CM Punk to victory in the main event. But in the parking lot, Ryder and Hawkins managed to kidnap Theodore Long, driving him away in the boot of their car as SmackDown went off the air.
The opening video package for SmackDown aired, and we cut to the sold-out Toyota Center in Houston, Texas for Friday Night SmackDown, just two days away from No Way Out on pay-per-view! Pyrotechnics went off, and Michael Cole and Jonathan Coachman introduced us to the show, promoting an episode of the Cutting Edge tonight with Edge, Finlay taking on the Great Khali, and CM Punk going at it with Montel Vontavious Porter, but to kick things off, the Brothers of Destruction reunite!
1) The Brothers of Destruction def. Mark Henry and Big Daddy V (w/Matt Striker) @ 9:39 A pretty hot opening contest to kick off this episode of SmackDown, as the "Phenom" and the "Big Red Machine" were here in action just two days prior to No Way Out, and their participation in the Elimination Chamber match. The Brothers of Destruction reunited to take on Big Daddy V and Mark Henry, two men that have been quite menacing towards SmackDown and ECW in recent months. Matt Striker tried to get involved as much as possible, but the "Deadman" was on a role quite a lot in the opening moments, delivering a running DDT to Big Daddy V and managing to pound away at V as well, then tagging in his brother, the "Big Red Monster" Kane, who came off of the second rope with an axe handle to the worked over arm of the "Mastodon". Kane tried to use quickness to keep Big Daddy V down though, and it ended up backfiring as V clotheslined Kane down to the canvas and followed it up with a huge legdrop across the chest of Kane! Mark Henry then got the tag, as the "World's Strongest Man" worked over the chest of Kane, a shoulderbreaker nearly putting Kane away. Mark then followed up with a splash in the corner, but Kane dodged it and dove for 'Taker, the "Deadman" getting the tag! Undertaker delivered Old School, but wound up in trouble as Big Daddy V came in and tried attacking 'Taker, Kane making the save with a clothesline sending the "Mastodon" over the top rope! Undertaker and Kane then put away Mark Henry with a massive double Chokeslam for the win!
The crowd cheered as the Undertaker and Kane celebrated their win, Big Daddy V and Matt Striker meanwhile helping Mark Henry out of the ring. The Brothers of Destruction had gotten rid of the two monster, but Kane then turned his half-brother around, the two brothers staring each other down, and only one of these men could go on to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXIV!
| COMMERCIAL BREAK |
We returned to SmackDown to see Edge and Vickie Guerrero arrive here at the Toyota Arena, as the "Rated R Superstar" commented to the Co-General Manager about how he hopes Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins taught Theodore Long a lesson last week in SmackDown when it comes to messing with the World Heavyweight Champion and La Familia. Vickie agreed, as the Cutting Edge was still to come!
2) Cherry (w/Deuce N' Domino) def. Victoria (w/Kenny Dykstra) @ 3:44 This was a pleasant surprise to see Deuce N' Domino back on SmackDown after various weeks of not appearing, but it was Deuce's girlfriend Cherry in action tonight, as she took on the more experienced Diva of the SmackDown brand, Victoria. Victoria managed to club away at her whilst Cherry got a positive reaction, Victoria just pounding away at Cherry with no remorse for her whatsoever. Victoria set up for her Widow's Peak, but Cherry managed to turn it into a sunset flip to score the upset victory!
Cherry celebrated her win as Victoria was outraged, grabbing poor Cherry by the hair until Deuce and Domino stepped in, scaring Victoria and Kenny Dykstra off! Victoria then ordered Dykstra to get in the ring and be her "man", but when Kenny reluctantly stepped into the ring, Domino nailed Dykstra with a drop toe hold as Deuce ran off of the ropes and knocked Dykstra out with the Crack In Da Mouth! Deuce N' Domino raised Cherry's hand in victory to a good reaction from Houston, Texas tonight.
We went to the backstage area where Josh Mathews was shown standing by with Finlay as the "Fighting Irishman" was asked about his personal chances of winning the Elimination Chamber match this Sunday and going on to face Edge or Batista at WrestleMania XXIV. Finlay told Mathews about the disadvantages, that he cannot have Hornswoggle help him out, but he's sure that he'll get by, because he's one of the toughest men that this Chamber match has to offer. But his prime target? Montel Vontavious Porter; he's weaseled away too many times, but not after No Way Out! Finlay vows to get the job done tonight against the Great Khali to get rid of this "Punjabi Nightmare" once and for all. Finlay left, yelling things into Mathews and jumping up and down, in persuit of Finlay.
We then went to the backstage area where John Morrison and The Miz were shown walking through the area backstage, the WWE Tag Team Champions walking awkwardly to the side of the United Kingdom, and up next we were ready for some tag team action, a preview of No Way Out, next!
| COMMERCIAL BREAK |
An advertisement aired, promoting WWE WrestleMania XXIV, live on pay-per-view from Orlando, Florida; 44 days away!
3) Jesse, Festus, Elijah Burke and Shelton Benjamin def. Drew McIntyre, DH Smith, John Morrison and The Miz (w/Dave Taylor) @ 12:18 A hard fought match for tonight's episode of SmackDown, as these eight men were to be featured this Sunday at No Way Out in a Four Corner Elimination Tag Team match to determine WWE Tag Team Champions. John Morrison and The Miz felt uneasy teaming with the United Kingdom faction, as Drew McIntyre started off, Festus starting off on fire, big boots and sidewalk slams all around, but the teamwork of the United Kingdom caused Festus to fall, as Dave Taylor at ringside ran over and rang the bell, causing Festus to fall into his relaxation mode, and DH Smith worked over Festus. | COMMERCIAL BREAK | The "Tuesday Night Delight" then got the tag, as he started throwing kicks at Festus, Jesse praying for Festus to make a comeback, and he eventually did, as The Miz went to whip Festus from a corner, Festus throwing Miz into Jesse's corner, and Festus got the hot tag to Jesse! Jesse laid a beatdown on Miz, but it wasn't long until the United Kingdom once again got involved, DH Smith taking Jesse down hard with a fireman's carry slam. Shelton Benjamin later got the tag as well, and all eight men ended up brawling in the ring, but in the end as Morrison went for the Moonlight Drive, Burke gave Morrison a stunning uppercut, followed up with the Paydirt from Benjamin, giving Benjamin the win!
The fans cheered as Shelton Benjamin's arm was raised in victory with Elijah Burke, Jesse helping Festus up and the fan favourite group celebrated in the ring whilst The Miz helped John Morrison out of the ring, the WWE Tag Team Champions quite concerned, as they should have been; the United Kingdom stood near them, the trio looking down on the ECW pair with frowns. This Sunday, these eight men lock it up once again, in every team for themselves.
Meanwhile, we cut to the backstage area, as Ranjin Singh led the Great Khali down a corridor, and up next we will see the Great Khali take on Finlay, will Finlay get past the "Punjabi Nightmare" before Elimination Chamber? We cut to a commercial.
| COMMERCIAL BREAK |
In the backstage area, we saw Vickie Guerrero with Chavo Guerrero, Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins, as the Co-General Manager of SmackDown asked La Familia where Edge was tonight. They all told her that they had no clue, leaving us in suspense.
4) The Great Khali (w/Ranjin Singh) def. Finlay (w/Hornswoggle by disqualification @ 7:23 This was a slow momentous match as expected, the "Fighting Irishman" trying to confuse the "Punjabi Nightmare", as the Great Khali expected Finlay to try and use agility to beat him, but instead Finlay tried to play technical, going through the armlocks and wristlocks before chop blocking at Khali's particularly fragile legs. Finlay managed to get Khali off of his feet this way, stomping away at the leg and even attempting a figure-four leglock at one point. Khali soon fired back though, as Finlay dropped an elbow on Khali's leg, Khali applied the Vice Grip, but he didn't allow Finlay to tap out or pass out to it, instead wearing him down, but as Khali got back to his feet, Finlay managed to use his remaining energy to run Khali into the top rope, Finlay then being handed his shillelagh from Hornswoggle, and Finlay nailed him in the back of the leg with it!
Finlay continued his attack, loss or not, the "Fighting Irishman" then nailing the Great Khali right in the skull with his shillelagh, Khali falling through the ropes! The "Punjabi Giant" was on his knee at ringside, at the mercy of Finlay and his shillelagh, and the Irishman nailed Khali with the shillelagh one more time, then picking up the steel steps and slamming them into the leg of Khali! Ranjin Singh ran over to help Khali, as Finlay left with Hornswoggle, Finlay's violent side showing en route to No Way Out!
In the backstage area we see CM Punk, as the "Straight Edge Superstar" seemed to be getting quite pumped up, Eve Torres then approaching Punk, as she asked the former ECW Champion on his chances of walking out of the Elimination Chamber match as the winner and going to WrestleMania XXIV to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship. Punk told Eve that he definitely knew it was possible, as anything is, even if it is John Bradshaw Layfield, an out of shape veteran dictator of the WWE locker room winning the ECW Championship. Punk told Eve that tonight he'll be facing Montel Vontavious Porter, and he's seen the WWE United States Champion gingerly walk away from matches if they weren't for the right prize, which is why he'll be on watch for MVP, and Mr Hollywood will Go to Sleep!
| COMMERCIAL BREAK |
The RAW Rebound aired, as it was John Cena talking about the Elimination Chamber match this Sunday at No Way Out for the WWE Championship, as he spoke about revenge and getting a hold of his arch rival, Randy Orton after he injured him in October to cause Cena to vacate the WWE Championship. But Jeff Hardy then came out, challenging Cena to his words about this Sunday, and a match was made by General Manager, William Regal. Meanwhile, Randy Orton fought Shawn Michaels in a non-title preview of this Sunday's Chamber match, sneakily getting the win against HBK. Later that night, it was Cena and Hardy going one on one, but it would be Umaga and Randy Orton that broke it up, just to be met with Shawn Michaels, and HBK cleared house, left standing tall, six days before No Way Out.
We returned to La Familia, as once again Vickie Guerrero was talking to Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins with Chavo Guerrero about where Edge possibly could be, the Cutting Edge segment still to come tonight. They didn't know where he was, as at that moment John Bradshaw Layfield came in, the ECW Champion met with boos, as he asked Vickie if he could have some help tonight. He commented on how his number one contender, Kofi Kingston was going to be in action tonight, and he needed one of La Familia to put him in his place before Sunday. Vickie immediately ordered Chavo to go out and face the "Jamaican Sensation", Chavo asking why he had to go and do it, as Vickie told him that it was because he was her nephew. Chavo groaned and got up, JBL leading Chavo to the ring.
5) Kofi Kingston def. Chavo Guerrero (w/John Bradshaw Layfield) @ 5:42 A back and forth match, as John Bradshaw Layfield had this match booked earlier tonight apparently, putting his number one contender in some jeopardy, just two days away until the biggest night of this rookie's career, challenging JBL for the ECW Championship. The "Jamaican Sensation" managed to keep Chavo in line though, as the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion continued to keep on top of Kofi, just continuing to pound away at him, and Chavo soon set in an STF to try and make Kofi tap, but the rookie from ECW managed to make a comeback, fighting free of it and then sending Chavo into an interfering ECW Champion, John Bradshaw Layfield on the apron, and with that the "Latino Warrior" ran into Trouble in Paradise, giving Kofi yet another win!
Kofi Kingston celebrated his win, until John Bradshaw Layfield ran into the ring, the ECW Champion with a huge big boot on the "Jamaican Sensation"! Layfield wanted Kofi to pay his dues, but was attacking the number one contender two days before their match at No Way Out really helping it? JBL stood tall over Kofi with the ECW Championship raised high.
Meanwhile, the WWE United States Champion was shown walking down a corridor, as Montel Vontavious Porter will be in action next, taking on CM Punk!
An advertisement aired, promoting WWE No Way Out, live on pay-per-view this Sunday from Las Vegas, Nevada.
| COMMERCIAL BREAK |
6) Montel Vontavious Porter def. CM Punk in a non-title match @ 8:34 A pretty match to main event this edition of SmackDown, with the Elimination Chamber match in just two days time, the "Straight Edge Superstar" was looking to gain even more momentum, especially after the match with Edge last Friday night, but the WWE United States Champion was just as equally pumped up, giving it all to CM Punk in the opening moments, MVP sending Punk off of the ropes and delivering a hiptoss to Punk, Porter immediately skipping for the finish with the Ballin' Elbow Drop, just for Punk to move, and CM Punk came right back on the offence, a step-up knee to the jaw in the corner, but when he went for the bulldog, MVP tossed him away and took him out with a boot to the side of the temple! MVP tried to follow up, several punches to the face of Punk, and he was looking to try and wear the "Straight Edge Superstar" down, a camel clutch/chinlock move applied, but as the fans in Houston rooted for him, Punk made a comeback, another step-up knee to Porter followed by the running bulldog, and Punk was setting up for the GTS, but as that happened, Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins came to ringside, leading Punk to fall into the Playmaker for the win!
The crowd booed as MVP celebrated his win to loud boos, the WWE United States Champion with the advantage leading into No Way Out this Sunday, could Montel Vontavious Porter win the Elimination Chamber match this Sunday and go on to face the World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania XXIV!? Meanwhile, the Edgeheads backed up the rampway, pleased with their antics, but obviously orchestrated by Edge.
Speaking of Edge, he was finally shown walking through the backstage area in a suit, and the next episode of the Cutting Edge was coming up next!
| COMMERCIAL BREAK |
We returned to see Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler at ringside, as they spoke about No Way Out in six days, the official theme song being "Fake It" by Seether from their 'Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces' album. They hyped up the current card for the show, as the "Rated R Superstar" defends the World Heavyweight Championship against the "Animal" Batista; Randy Orton will defend the WWE Championship against Jeff Hardy, Triple H, Umaga, John Cena and Shawn Michaels in RAW's Elimination Chamber match; In SmackDown's Elimination Chamber match, the Undertaker, Mark Henry, Finlay, MVP, CM Punk and Kane will all fight for contention to the World Heavyweight Championship, and the SmackDown main event at WrestleMania XXIV!; Plus, we will hear which championship Chris Jericho will challenge for at WrestleMania; John Morrison and the Miz will prove their success in a Four-Corner Elimination match for the WWE Tag Team Championships against Jesse and Festus, Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke & the United Kingdom! But added on Tuesday night, John Bradshaw Layfield will defend his ECW Championship when he takes on Kofi Kingston. All in two days on pay-per-view.
The crowd booed as the set for the Cutting Edge was all set up, the theme of the World Heavyweight Champion hitting, and out came the classy dressed "Rated R Superstar", Edge walking down the rampway, setting off his pyrotechnics as he came, before climbing into the ring and taking a microphone. Edge talked about how awful it was to be in Houston, Texas tonight, but he was here for a purpose. He talked about how the six participants in the Elimination Chamber this Sunday will compete for no apparent reason, because regardless, Edge was leaving No Way Out as World Heavyweight Champion, and taking Batista out of action like he did Rey Mysterio, and walking out of WrestleMania XXIV as World Heavyweight Champion as well! The champ then commented on how he planned on having Theodore Long here as his special guest, but he was too petrified to come, thanks to La Familia last Friday night! The crowd booed, Edge commenting on how it proved him not to mess with Edge's business. Edge talked of a backup plan however, which is why he wanted to introduce his guest for the evening, his own girlfriend and now once again sole General Manager of SmackDown, Vickie Guerrero!
The crowd booed louder as Vickie Guerrero made her way out to the Toyota Center, confused by what was going on, as she climbed into the ring and asked Edge what this was all about. Edge told her he loved her, before bowing down onto one knee and pulling out a box! Edge asked Vickie if she would marry him, as Vickie let out a scream and accepted, cuddling Edge! But as this happened, the theme of the "Animal" hit, Batista coming out to a hot reaction from this capacity crowd. Batista had a microphone, as he talked about how disgusting these two were for this Houston crowd to see! Batista told them that SmackDown wasn't about romance, it was about wrestling. And speaking of wrestling, because of what Edge did to his good friend, Rey Mysterio last month at the Royal Rumble, he would get vengeance, and Edge better be ready, because he was coming to take back what was rightfully his, his World Heavyweight Championship! Batista then told Edge that as for Sunday, he couldn't wait for No Way Out, so he's going to come down to the ring and kick his ass, NOW! Batista ran down to the ring to disrupt this Cutting Edge ring proposal, a spear to Edge! Soon after, La Familia came to the ring, Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins getting taken out with clotheslines, Chavo Guerrero receiving a spinebuster, before Edge lined Batista up for a Spear in the corner, but Batista moved and he speared his own fiancé! Edge was then given a Batista Bomb, as Batista stood tall over the entire La Familia faction! The "Animal" was reeling, destroying his rival's proposal celebration here tonight, two days away from No Way Out! SmackDown went off the air.

WWE Monday Night RAW Nice opening segment with John Cena, claiming he'll be the last one in the chamber with Orton. Didn't expect Hardy to interrupt, should be a good match tonight. I liked the match between Lashley and Umaga at WM 23, so it's nice to see a rematch, but part of me would've like to see Kennedy cost Bobby the match. Good aftermath with Umaga getting his revenge, but please keep the title on Kennedy. I laughed at Santino forgetting his boot. Nice Orton interview and victory from Santino over Cody. Nice to see a Cade/Murdoch confrontation. Really enjoyed the JBL segment and Jericho teasing that he may challenge for the ECW title at Wrestlemania. I doubt it, but that would be a hell of a twist. The Flair footage going to be released next week, still sticking with my original theory. Good first hour main event with Orton going over Michaels, I expect Orton to retain at No Way Out and possibly face Jericho and Cena in a triple threat. Alright win for Beth here, but this was probably the least interesting time period for divas, ever. Lance Cade with the win is great, loved the finish spot too. 450 to the knees would hurt like a bitch. Decent interview with Lashley. Main event was alright, liked Orton interfering plus the post match brawls. Michaels standing tall is alright, I guess. Decent go-home show.
ECW Another great promo from JBL. Really looking forward to his reign. Dreamer coming out followed by a match was alright. Good win for Bradshaw over Dreamer, was the right call to make here. Tag match was average. Didn't care for it besides Knox putting his hands on Kelly Kelly. Interesting segment from Matt Striker and Big Daddy V. Nice win for Burke over The Miz to gain momentum in their feud. Eight man tag match this Friday? Awesome. Wow, didn't expect Kofi Kingston to win. Guess it should be alright, but I don't expect his match with JBL to be anything special. Fine ending to a decent show with JBL standing tall.
WWE Friday Night Smackdown! "Chuck Palumbo & Jamie Noble def. Kenny Dykstra & Nic Nemeth @ 5:20 after the Crack In Da Mouth by Deuce on Nemeth." Good way to kick the show off with a huge tag team match. Good win for Undertaker and Kane, and I liked the post match stare down. Didn't really care for the divas match. Deuce N' Domino are faces now? I assume that could work, but I'll wait and see. Nice little Finlay interview, I don't expect him to win at all, though. Great eight man tag match between the four teams competing for the WWE Tag Team Championships at No Way Out. Faces winning was nice, hopefully Burke and Benjamin or the United Kingdom walking out tag team champions. Loved Finlay going crazy on the Great Khali. I liked Finlay's 2006-2008 character in the WWE, not giving a damn and just beating people up. Nice Punk interview, he needs a strong showing in the Chamber this Sunday. I would imagine a match between Kingston and Guerrero would be great. Good win from Kingston, but wish Kofi could have countered JBL after the match, because it's obvious JBL will retain this Sunday. Nice main event and MVP going over with the help of the Edgeheads was fine, but I'm thinking Punk will challenge JBL at Wrestlemania instead of feuding with La Familia. Amazing Cutting Edge segment to finish the show. Edge proposing to Vickie with Batista interrupting was a nice touch. Batista standing tall over La Familia is a great way to go into the No Way Out pay per view, but this leads me to think Edge will be retaining, and rightfully so. Overall, another good show in a fine week of television, No Way Out should be a killer.

Smackdown Review
The Brothers of Destruction Undertaker & Kane beating Mark Henry and Big Daddy V w/Matt Striker, perfect match-up to start off Smackdown on the right footing, and then after the match Undertaker and Kane with some tension filled in the air after Kane turns Undertaker around and then I thought in that moment that these 2 brothers were going to tear each other apart, but that this Sunday it is every man for himself in that Smackdown Chamber, no brothers, no partner, no friends, only enemies
Cherry beating Victoria, this was a great match and then after the match was over, Victoria tries to attack Cherry but Deuce and Domino get in the way and scare her off and then Victoria tells Kenny to be her man and get in there, and then Kenny reluctantly gets into the ring only to get attacked by Deuce and Domino as they lay him out and leave, which was great
Finlay backstage interview about his chances in the Smackdown Chamber and how it is a perfect environment for him to thrive in, awesome and how he has a match later with MVP and that during this match MVP won't be able to weasel his way out of anything
Jesse, Festus, Elijah Burke and Shelton Benjamin beating DH Smith, Drew McIntyre, John Morrison and The Miz in the Eight Man Tag Team Match, this is awesome but that this Sunday at No Way Out it is every team for themselves in the Four Corner Tag Team Elimination Match
Great Khali beating Finlay by DQ after Finlay attacks Khali with the shillelagh and then attacking him with the steel steps, just proves that Finlay is not one to be messed with and he toppled the giant, he didn't care about winning the match but simply just to hurt Khali
Punk's backstage interview about his chances in the Elimination Chamber, awesome, Punk I can really see him winning this Chamber match, it is possible, but if not, then I would love to see him in either Money In The Bank at WrestleMania 24 or have him face JBL for the ECW Championship at Mania 24
Chavo is going to face Kofi, this is going to be something
Kofi with yet another win, this time beating Chavo Guerrero of La Familia, Kofi is undefeated and he is just on a roll right now, possibly the biggest roll of his life right now but JBL will be the one to end his undefeated streak this Sunday when JBL beats him to retain his ECW Championship
JBL with yet another statement leaving Kofi laying
Going over the card is also great with JR and King
Batista taking out all of La Familia to end the show was great in the Cutting Edge all on his own

Another double reply cos you're pumping out these shows.
Firstly, ECW. The Battle Royal sounds good but I can't put my finger on who could win. I liked Tommy Dreamer's attempt at going over the ECW Champion, but a good victory for JBL, keeping him strong going into No Way Out this Sunday where he will face the winner of tonight's Main Event. I liked the JBL/CM Punk confrontation, but it did make the ECW Championship sound like a worthless title when Punk actually thanked him for taking it because he can go on to "better things". I know it isn't the most prestigious title, but addressing it on TV? I dunno. A good victory for Mike Knox and Layla, I really hope Knox breaks out in 'bear mode' soon with the beard, he was a fantastic character. Elijah Burke over The Miz was good, but I really, really hope he and Shelton Benjamin don't win at No Way Out. I'd happily see any other team win except them, I don't know what it is but I just can't accept them as Championship material. Did not expect to see Kofi Kingston win this Battle Royal, but I love it. He's a fine athlete and could certainly give JBL a run for his money, but I'm pretty sure we won't see the title change hands. A good episode.
Now for SmackDown. A huge opening contest and The Brothers of Destruction going over was the right move, especially for the face-off afterwards as both men compete inside the Elimination Chamber this Sunday. A huge victory for Cherry here, and I liked how Deuce 'n Domino fought for her. It's interesting to see them as faces here. A good victory for the faces in this Eight-Man Tag Team Match, but the more they win, the more I expect either Mizorrison to retain, or The United Kingdom to take the gold. I think The Great Khali going over made sense here, he is an unstoppable monster after all, but I like Finlay going nuts after the match as it keeps him a strong contender in the Elimination Chamber Match. Another good win for Kofi Kingston giving him that last minute build he needs going into No Way Out, followed by another attack from JBL. A shocking victory for the United States Champion, MVP over CM Punk, but with the interference of the Edgeheads, it makes sense. A good Cutting Edge to close the show, and Batista standing tall gives him the advantage going into this Sunday's Pay-Per-View. A good show for SmackDown.

- For your No Way Out pay per view I hope we can see a return or 2 like Big Show maybe making his return to the WWE and then have Floyd Mayweather in attendance for No Way Out to set up this feud between Mayweather and Big Show
- And also Christian maybe making his return to WWE a year early
- And Ted DiBiase Jr. making his debut in the coming months here in 2008, to set up Legacy with Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and a 4th member so then that way Legacy can become like the New Evolution but better and with 2nd/3rd generation wrestlers

Either way I know No Way Out will be awesome and that I hope that it will live up to its expectations and perhaps even surpass it by being as goog as the actual Elimination Chamber pay per view tonight in real life

Raw - Good opening promo by Cena & Orton, the Hardy interruption was unexpected and a Cena/Hardy match would be huge, perhaps even too huge for Raw. Eh, I think Umaga needed the momentum more than Lashley heading into NWO and his elimination chamber match, especially with Kennedy providing a distraction. The post match attack was fine, but it doesn't really gain a whole lot of momentum back for Umaga. Liked Orton's promo about becoming a legend. Good win for Santino over Rhodes, looks like you're making Santino more of a threat. JBL promo was well written as was the interaction between JBL/Jericho and like that you are making the ECW Title seem more important. Good win for Randy Orton over Shawn Michaels. Decent win for Beth here. Nice win for Cade, I'm getting behind the Cade push a bit more now. Good main event and glad it went to a no contest as it saves a potential money making match going to a finish, Orton interrupting it was good as was the other chamber participants running out and brawling.
ECW - Lovely opening promo by JBL, loving this JBL against ECW thing you've got going on. Tommy Dreamer interrupting is nice to defend ECW. Good first up win for JBL as ECW champ against Dreamer. Balls/Kelly/Knox/Layla was meh, seemed like filler. Elijah/Miz seemed like a fun match, Elijah getting the win builds some momentum. Nice Battle Royal. Seems a bit early for Kofi to be challenging for the title though especially on PPV, but I don't really know who else you could've put there.
SD - Ah nice to see changed up the order. Hopefully the BOD/V/Henry feud is over with now that BOD got the clean win. Interesting to see DnD as faces here, decent win for Cherry. Nice to see Finlay bring up his past with MVP & Khali. Good 8 man tag and nice to see Burke/Benjamin with the momentum heading into nwo. Nice segment with Vickie/Chavo/JBL. Nice win for Kofi over Chavo and JBL laying out Kofi after the match was good as well. Nice to see MVP/Punk get the final match, nice to see MVP get the win with the assistance of the Edgeheads. Decent Cutting Edge with Edge proposing and Batista coming out and standing tall.
Overall, decent week of shows without being spectacular , served it's purpose though in heading into NWO though, which should be a cracking PPV. Keep it up.

| WWE No Way Out: Sunday 17th February 2008 |

Las Vegas, Nevada - Thomas & Mack Center

Dark Match: Lance Cade def. Brian Kendrick @ 7:32 after the Diving Elbow DropThe opening video package for No Way Out 2008 aired, as we saw footage of the Elimination Chamber, and how tonight twelve men overall will put their careers on the line all for what? Glory? Bragging rights? The narrator assures us that it is much more than that, as to John Cena it is about revenge on Randy Orton for taking him out of action for nearly four months; for Randy Orton, John Cena, Chris Jericho, Jeff Hardy, Triple H and Shawn Michaels, perhaps it is about glory, but also about the WWE Championship. As for SmackDown, for six men such as CM Punk, Finlay, the Undertaker, Mark Henry, MVP and Kane, it was about a guaranteed World Heavyweight Championship shot at WrestleMania XXIV next month. But for Chris Jericho tonight was about deciding who he was going to face at WrestleMania XXIV. Tonight, there is No Way Out! The opening graphic for No Way Out aired, as "Fake It" by Seether played, and we cut to the live, sold-out Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada for No Way Out! Pyrotechnics went off, as Michael Cole and Jonathan Coachman welcomed us to the show, running down the card for SmackDown's side of things tonight, a milestone on the Road to WrestleMania XXIV! 1) SMACKDOWN'S ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH |
Kane vs Montel Vontavious Porter vs Finlay vs CM Punk vs Mark Henry vs The Undertaker

The winner will get a guaranteed World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania XXIV

CM Punk and Montel Vontavious Porter had the misfortune of being the first two men in the ring to start off this match, as the "Straight Edge Superstar" and the WWE United States Champion recently competed this past Friday night on SmackDown. MVP and Punk locked up in the center, Porter gaining the advantage and sending Punk into the corner, no count to five needed in this structured match. MVP then hammered into Punk, whipping him into the corresponding turnbuckle, bouncing off of the ropes and catching Punk with a tough elbow to the face of the ECW superstar. MVP proceeded to taunt, not wasting any time to get an elimination in this match; possibly a bad move. Meanwhile, CM Punk started to fire back, getting in several shots of his own, then kneeing MVP in the face and proceeding to spring off of the second rope, coming back at Montel Vontavious Porter with a springboard crossbody, covering but for a near fall. The match continued as Punk kept working over the shoulder of Porter, sending him out to the steel floor surrounding the ring, where Punk prepared a suicide dive of kinds of sorts, but as he sprung off of the top rope, MVP caught him and sent him flying right into the chain-linked fence wall of this Chamber! MVP continued the attack outside of the ring, slamming him into the wall several times before going to clothesline Punk back into the ring, Punk reversing with a back body drop sending MVP over the top rope and back inside. Punk then went for a springboard dive at Porter back in the ring, but MVP managed to dive out of the way, causing Punk to receive nothing but canvas! Porter continued his attack, pounding away at the head of Punk before trying for a cover just to get a near fall every time. Porter soon decided to for the Playmaker as the countdown began for the next pod to open, but Punk soon reversed and levelled Porter with a stiff kick to the head, applying the Anaconda Vise causing MVP's worked on shoulder to suffer, as the countdown ended...
Kane was the first of the four locked up superstars to enter the Elimination Chamber match officially, as the "Big Red Monster" came into the ring, not caring for CM Punk's Anaconda Vise on MVP, instead grabbing Punk by the hair and tossing him out of the way, Kane soon grabbing the WWE United States Champion by the throat and picking him up for the Chokeslam, but MVP kicked him down below! Porter followed up with a knee to the face of MVP, taking him down with a Russian legsweep off of the ropes, and Porter then taunted this capacity crowd in Las Vegas by motioning victory. However that soon ended as CM Punk came from behind, an atomic drop connecting followed up with a super kick right to the face of Montel Vontavious Porter! Punk motioned that it was time for MVP to go to sleep, as he prepared Porter on his shoulders, but suddenly Kane came from behind, a sidewalk slam style move prepared for Punk as he still had MVP on his shoulders, Kane with a sidewalk slam on Punk, a Samoan drop for MVP! Kane soon signalled that it was time to end it shortly for his opponents, Kane with his hands around Punk and MVP's throats, but Punk broke free and fell to the canvas, Porter being the recipient of a Chokeslam from Hell! Kane covered, and MVP has been eliminated! This is where Kane selected CM Punk as his next victim, but Punk kicked Kane in the thigh, then going for another just for Kane to trap his leg, grabbing Punk by the throat and launching him over the top rope onto the steel floor! Kane followed Punk out there as the "Straight Edge Superstar" rived in pain, Kane sending Punk into the chain-linked wall, then delivering numerous body shots to the ECW superstar! But Punk soon turned it around, as Kane tried to clothesline Punk against the wall, just for Punk to duck, and dropkick Kane into the wall instead! Kane on all fours, Punk kicked Kane in the ribs, then somewhat climbing the fence wall, as high as possible before trying to come off with a splash, but fell right onto Kane's boot! Punk fell through the ropes back into the ring as Kane sat up and returned to combat, reaching Punk over the top rope with a suplex, Punk landing right on his face in the ring! Kane then proceeded to climb back inside to go for the Chokeslam, but as the countdown began, Punk tried to fight the choke off again, managing it with several kicks to the sides of Kane, bouncing off of the ropes just to walk into the big boot! Kane went to grab Punk again by the throat but the countdown ended and... Mark Henry was the second man to leave the chamber pod, the "World's Strongest Man" going right after Kane, as CM Punk had been saved from the Chokeslam from Kane, Mark Henry proceeding to follow up his attack with several forearms to the back of Kane, then picking him off of his knees and connecting with a belly to back suplex, covering for a near fall. Mark Henry continued as he sent Kane over the top rope, as the "Big Red Monster" was being given a taste of his own medicine to what he did to MVP and CM Punk earlier in this match, Henry following Kane and sending him right into the chain-linked wall, not once but twice, before taking Kane down with a huge clothesline! Mark was determined to end Kane, especially after Kane and the Undertaker managed to defeat Big Daddy V and Mark Henry last Friday night, but there was no Big Daddy V, and the Undertaker seemed ready to enter this match to aid his half-brother. Mark continued his attack on Kane by sending him back into the ring, as he signaled to end it with the World's Strongest Slam, but Kane managed to fire back with several uppercuts, grabbing Mark by the throat but Henry easily broke it off, a full nelson slam connecting on Kane! Mark covered, one, two, but CM Punk made the save, he didn't want to be left alone against Mark Henry in his current condition. Punk delivered several shots to Mark Henry, as Kane soon followed, Punk and Kane with some double team work delivered to the "World's Strongest Man", but as they whipped him off of the ropes, Mark managed to take both men down with a clothesline, then picking up to delivered the World's Strongest Slam! But before he could attempt a cover, Kane jumped him again, trying for a Tombstone Piledriver perhaps, but Mark weighed him down and covered, just to get a two! The countdown once again started as CM Punk returned to his feet slowly clutching his ribs, a flying clothesline managing to knock Mark Henry down, then following up with a running dropkick. Meanwhile... The Undertaker was our third participant to enter via the chamber pod, as the "Phenom" got an electric reaction, climbing into the ring and immediately engaging with blows to Mark Henry! Mark tried to fight him off, but 'Taker continued the attack, and the Brothers of Destruction discovered each other, whipping Mark off of the ropes and both simultaneously nailing clotheslines knocking Henry down! 'Taker continued the attack, delivering numerous body shots to Mark before Kane ran at him with a clothesline, Kane going to whip Henry back at 'Taker waiting in the centre of the ring, but Mark took him down with the clothesline! Kane then ran at Henry, the "World's Strongest Man" delivering a scoop slam taking Kane down into the canvas. Mark then saw CM Punk in the corner and splashed him, tossing him down to the canvas before setting up for a big splash, but Punk managed to dodge it, rolling out to the outside of the ring. Punk quickly got back up, gaining a second wind as he sprung onto the top rope, the springboard crossbody reversed as Mark turned it into the World's Strongest Slam! Mark covered, but the "Deadman" broke it up, several forearms delivered to the "World's Strongest Man"! 'Taker turned those forearms into sharp elbows, 'Taker quickly going for the Tombstone but Mark Henry managed to turn it around, a Tombstone Piledriver for the "Phenom"! Mark covered, mocking 'Taker pinfall method before Kane dropkicked Henry right in the jaw! CM Punk got back into battle, the "Straight Edge Superstar" with a clothesline surprisingly strong enough to send Kane out onto the steel, Punk following up with a springboard splash intended for Kane, Kane ducking though, and instead Punk stuck to the chain-linked wall like Spiderman, a crossbody down on Kane! The fans in Las Vegas applauded the "Straight Edge Superstar" as back in the ring Mark Henry was laying the beatdown on Undertaker, a deep cut embedded on the forehead of the "Phenom", and Undertaker seemed to be in a bad way as Mark got him up for the World's Strongest Slam, but 'Taker tried to fight out of it, managed to wrap his legs around Mark's arm, and eventually the head, Mark falling over the top rope, 'Taker dangling, the back of his head near the steel floor as his Gogoplata submission was locked in deep on the "World's Strongest Man", blood squirting from the mouth of Mark, and he passed out, Mark Henry was eliminated!. 'Taker dropped down onto the steel floor whilst the countdown began, CM Punk meanwhile with several shots at Kane's face, the countdown ended and... Finlay was our final member of this Elimination Chamber match, and we could only have one, Finlay walking right out to meet the Undertaker, the "Fighting Irishman" using his fresh energy to get the advantage of the "Phenom" in this fist fight, as he sent 'Taker right into the wall, following up with a running forearm, the Irishman dead set on finally having his time to shine and go on to face the World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania XXIV! Finlay tossed Undertaker back into the ring, and he saw CM Punk and Kane out on the other side of the ring, joining them by grabbing CM Punk by the hair and dramatically tossing him right into the Plexi-glass of the empty chamber pod! Finlay delivered a European uppercut to Kane, sending him through the ropes into the ring, and the "Fighting Irishman" was on a roll as he entered the ring and leveled Kane with a clothesline, but 'Taker sat up and went back after Finlay, the two trading blows once again before Finlay kicked 'Taker low and ran off of the ropes, walking into the hands of both members of the Brothers of Destruction! Kane and 'Taker delivered a huge Double Chokeslam to Finlay, covering and successfully getting the three, and Finlay was eliminated!. We were down to three, as CM Punk laid motionless inside of a broken chamber pod, a recipient of the Plexiglass, Punk cut all over, particularly his face, as the "Straight Edge Superstar" sported the clichéd crimson mask. Kane and Undertaker stared each other down, shaking hands before squaring off, Kane and 'Taker going at it with heavy lefts and rights, Kane whipping 'Taker off of the ropes, but his half-brother came right back at him with a leaping lariat! 'Taker and Kane continued as 'Taker took Kane into the corner, working over the arm of his half-brother, only one of these men could possibly go on to face the World Heavyweight Championship next month, on the grandest stage of them all no less! 'Taker went up for Old School on Kane, but CM Punk regained his composure, and the "Straight Edge Superstar" crotched 'Taker over the top rope! Punk followed with a clothesline to the "Deadman", taking him down to the canvas, before stepping into the ring and going for the GTS on Kane, getting him up, but Kane managed to slip out and go for a Chokeslam on Punk, just for CM Punk to break free from it once again, getting behind Kane and sending him into the turnbuckle face first, rolling backwards and nailing Kane with that step-up knee to the chin of Kane, going for the running bulldog just for 'Taker to catch him up with a big boot! 'Taker then picked up his half-brother and dropped him down with the Chokeslam, covering to eliminate the "Big Red Monster", and Kane was eliminated! We were down to two in this Elimination Chamber match, CM Punk still down on the canvas and in a bad way, both of these men bleeding and been through a lot of pain, but CM Punk had been through a lot more than the Undertaker, having been in this match for just over twenty five minutes. Punk soon got to his feet, 'Taker allowing an equal chance to meet Punk; the two men slugging it out in a fistfight for survival, 'Taker then picking Punk up suddenly in the fireman's carry position, the Snake Eyes delivered to Punk followed up with the big boot sending Punk out to the steel floor! 'Taker followed Punk outside slowly, going for the Last Ride on Punk, on the steel floor, but Punk managed to get up and grab onto the fence wall, the "Straight Edge Superstar" climbing onto the wall and kicking 'Taker away, but as he leaped for a diving crossbody on 'Taker, 'Taker caught him but both men went tumbling over the top rope into the ring! Punk covered 'Taker, but only got two as this Las Vegas crowd were clinging on the edges of their seats, 'Taker getting a bare arm up! Punk then decided that it was time to end things with the GTS, getting 'Taker up somehow on his shoulders and nailing it, the fans exploding as this ECW uprising star had perhaps defeated the "Deadman"! He covered 'Taker, but 'Taker once again kicked out! Punk looked dumbfounded, as he couldn't seem to put 'Taker away! Punk then went to pick 'Taker up one more time, 'Taker managing to slip onto his feet and get Punk up for the Tombstone Piledriver, but Punk managed to knee 'Taker in the head, Punk running into 'Taker just to receive a big boot! Punk wasn't done yet though, as he went up to the top rope, trying to climb on top of the chamber pod, but 'Taker caught him as he went up, the Last Ride delivered to CM Punk! 'Taker hooked a leg, and he got the three!

Winner: The Undertaker @ 28:31

The Undertaker remained down after this hectic match, as the fans exploded with applause to both of these men, the "Phenom" with his hand raised in victory as he slowly returned to his feet, the Undertaker pointing to the WrestleMania XXIV sign and then dropping to one knee his hand pointing still at the WrestleMania sign! CM Punk meanwhile was rolled out of the ring and the Chamber, helped out by a referee as this crowd applauded the "Straight Edge Superstar" for his efforts, but the Undertaker was going to WrestleMania! We cut to the backstage area where SmackDown's General Manager, Vickie Guerrero was watching No Way Out, from the comfort of a wheelchair and she was met with boos, unimpressed with the Undertaker winning the Elimination Chamber and the potential of her fiancé, Edge going to have to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against the Undertaker at WrestleMania XXIV. La Familia were shown beside her, as Chavo Guerrero told Vickie not to worry because Edge definitely had this won, tonight and at WrestleMania. Meanwhile Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins were prepping Edge, the "Rated R Superstar" warming up and talking him through the match with Batista later tonight. Edge told the Edgeheads that he appreciated their help, but after last Friday night on SmackDown, he knows that he wants revenge on the "Animal" for putting his hands and ruining their proposal celebration, and he will pay dearly. Edge told them that he would go out there alone, to which the Edgeheads agreed. Edge went to warm up elsewhere. Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler were introduced to the show as they talked about the brutal Elimination Chamber match that they had just witnessed, and what was still to come before promoting an AT&T poll presenting who the fans thought would walk out of No Way Out as WWE Champion. They advised the viewers to vote now or throughout this pay-per-view broadcast. We then cut to see John Cena, as the fans met him with a mixed reaction backstage, Eve Torres asking Cena about the RAW Elimination Chamber match later tonight. Cena told Eve that he just witnessed the SmackDown Elimination Chamber match and it was brutal, he must congratulate every man involved. But he's been in the Chamber before, and he won, more importantly. But tonight it's not just about gold, the WWE Championship. More importantly, it's about putting Randy Orton through hell! And he invites Jeff Hardy, Shawn Michaels, Triple H or Umaga to join him, or go after him, because either way, they will all meet an FU and an elimination courtesy of your new WWE Champion! 2) WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP |
Mr Kennedy (c) vs Bobby Lashley

This match had more backstory than expected, as Bobby Lashley was drafted to the RAW brand last June, and thus had to be stripped of his ECW Championship. After chasing the WWE Championship for several months, he was met by Mr Kennedy, another chaser for the gold, and he managed to separate Bobby Lashley's shoulder, taking him out of action for over six months, and six months later Mr Kennedy was the WWE Intercontinental Champion, whilst Lashley had returned, and spotted him wanting revenge. Kennedy was talking over the microphone before this match about how he is the WWE Intercontinental Champion and how great he truly is, before Bobby Lashley's music hit, and Lashley ran down to the ring. Bobby Lashley and Mr Kennedy started off by trading blows, these two rivals not wasting any time, especially not the challenger, as Lashley sent Kennedy into the ropes, meeting him back in the centre with a huge Spear, then going for the cover, but Kennedy managed to slide out of the ring to take a breather. Lashley wasn't wasting any time however, as he followed Kennedy out to ringside, sending him into the ECW announce table, then slamming his head into it for good measures! Lashley still wasn't done however, as he snapmared Kennedy right into the barricade, dropping a leg and he definitely wanting Kennedy's blood and title. Lashley continued by sending Kennedy back into the ring, covering for a near fall, and Kennedy tried to cower away from Lashley, then nailing Lashley with a shoulder block to that recently separated shoulder, then tweaking it with an armlock turned hammerlock, just toying with that shoulder joint before elbowing the shoulder of Lashley. Kennedy then flipped Lashley over onto his back, dropping a leg over the arm and stomping away at the shoulder and head of Lashley, met with boos as this arrogance truly shone on the WWE Intercontinental Champion from this capacity crowd in the Thomas & Mack Center. Lashley was on all fours when Kennedy impressed up with an Oklahoma roll, covering but Lashley managed to kick out at two! Lashley continued to fight back, several shots to the abdomen of Kennedy, the challenger breaking free of a front facelock, clotheslining Kennedy down to the canvas! Lashley then used his raw strength to pick Kennedy off of the canvas onto his feet, then connecting successfully with a spinebuster to the WWE Intercontinental Champion! Lashley taunted for the Dominator, going back over to Kennedy, but Kennedy turned it into an arm-wrench DDT out of nowhere! Kennedy was desperate, as he then applied an armbar, once again trying to re-separate that shoulder of the challenger, Lashley who kept trying to fight it out of revenge. Lashley continued to refuse to quit, before out of nowhere he leaned back, and Kennedy's shoulders were on the canvas, but Kennedy managed to kick out at two! The champ kept on top of Lashley though, stomping away at the shoulder before looking at ringside, then rolling out of the ring. Kennedy wasn't done with the shoulder as he pulled Lashley arm to the ring post, pulling at the bad arm/shoulder of Lashley, trying to pull it out of place! Kennedy continued, kicking it before returning to the ring. Kennedy then picked Lashley up and delivered a standing Green Bay Plunge, soon going up to the top looking for a Kenton Bomb, but as he came off, Lashley got his knees up and slowly returned to his feet, signalling for the Spear, but Kennedy got out to the apron! Lashley rushed over but Kennedy jumped down to the floor, and so when Kennedy looked towards the entrance way and teased leaving he turned around to receive a huge Spear from Lashley! The challenger quickly dragged Kennedy back to the ring with his good arm, going for the Dominator, but he couldn't get him up after the work over his shoulder done; instead he delivered a powerslam, then planning on going up to the top rope for something. However this is where Kennedy used his cat-like agility to get back in, as he quickly sprung to his feet and knocked the ropes, crotching Lashley successfully! Kennedy followed up, and he delivered with the Green Bay Plunge, covering to get the three!

Winner and STILL WWE Intercontinental Champion: Mr Kennedy @ 8:19

Mr Kennedy sat up to loud boos, as he had managed to keep Bobby Lashley tamed, and outsmarted with the Green Bay Plunge to get the win over him. Kennedy was handed his successfully earned WWE Intercontinental Championship to loud boos, Kennedy getting up to his feet as he had managed to do it, leaving Las Vegas with his title intact! Bobby Lashley sat up in the ring looking furious whilst clutching his shoulder, and we all knew that he would fight to see another day. We cut to the backstage area where Jeff Hardy was shown, Mike Adamle approaching Hardy and asking him for some thoughts prior to the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match. Hardy described how he nearly left the Royal Rumble three weeks ago as the WWE Champion, he took Randy Orton to the limit. But tonight, Adamle and everyone in the back with him would assume that he'd be out of his element with other big names such as Triple H, John Cena and Shawn Michaels in there, but he's in a damn good environment. He was known for his daredevil skills, and tonight they would expect it. Hardy told the fans that he wouldn't disappoint them a second time, and would leave No Way Out tonight finally the new WWE Champion! 3) WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH |
John Morrison and The Miz (c) vs Jesse and Festus vs Elijah Burke and Shelton Benjamin vs The United Kingdom (w/Dave Taylor)

Four-Corner Elimination Match

This was bound to be a barnburner, as these eight men squared off, all for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Jesse started things off with DH Smith, and Smith easily got the power advantage, managing to knock Jesse back into his corner. This brought Festus into the match, but not before Jesse pulled a tiny hammer out of his singlet, slamming it into a tiny gong that was set up in their corner. This was an amusing sequence as Festus leaped into action, climbing into the ring and clearing house of DH Smith, as well as Dave Taylor who tried to get involved. Festus delivered a big boot to Smith and covered, but McIntyre made the save. Elijah Burke soon made the tag from Festus, and Jesse had to tame Festus with another hammering on the gong. Burke managed to stick in there with McIntyre, several punches flying as well as a fantastic dropkick, nearly putting McIntyre away. Drew soon made the tag to John Morrison however, and the "Shaman of Sexy" came into the ring, the "Tuesday Night Delight" managing to keep on top of Burke, working on the knee of Burke and not leaving it alone, several stomps and elbows dropping down onto the knee of the "Elijah Experience". Morrison nailed a great standing shooting star press, which almost took Burke and Benjamin out of this match. Morrison and The Miz worked together with the a legsplit to Burke, and then co-operated well with the United Kingdom as well, Jesse and Shelton Benjamin trying to get the hot tag from an isolated Elijah Burke. Drew McIntyre was the one to let Burke free inadvertently, as he tried to go for the Scot Drop but Burke took him down witha a powerful punch which knocked Burke down as well, soon getting the hot tag to the "Gold Standard"! Shelton Benjamin made the save, taking out McIntyre and The Miz, but DH Smith managed to get Shelton up for the Running Powerslam, Benjamin slipping out and connecting with a German suplex, followed by the Oklahoma roll to get the three! The United Kingdom were eliminated! The action didn't stop, as John Morrison got back involved, trading blows with Benjamin, the "Gold Standard" managing to outwrestle Morrison well, but as Morrison got the tag to The Miz, the pace changed and Miz started using the hard strikes to stun Benjamin and slow him down, trying to keep Benjamin under his control with a sleeper hold, but Shelton soon made a comeback, the Dragon Whip almost knocking Miz straight out of the ring, and Shelton got the tag to Jesse! Jesse ran in and delivered a bulldog to an interfering Morrison, then dropkicking Miz off of the apron, but that's where it went downhill for the countryboy, Jesse coming over the top rope with a suicide dive but he missed it! Miz took advantage, and the Reality Check put Jesse away! Jesse and Festus were eliminated! We were now down to two teams, as Miz was met with Elijah Burke, his knee slightly more fresh after some rest time on the apron, and Burke managed to knock a victory off against Miz this past Tuesday on ECW on Sci-Fi. Burke met Miz with a neckbreaker after whipping him off of the ropes, and Burke and Benjamin used this advantage to double-team the "Chick Magnet", a double DDT followed with a double neckbreaker connecting, the two pure athletes doing very well against the WWE Tag Team Champions. But it went downhill from there as John Morrison soon got the tag, and the champions did what they did best and worked away at Benjamin, working away at the feet to slow his offence down, and Morrison neutralized this as he went for some fast-paced stuff, catching Benjamin off-guard with a huge Pelé kick at one point. Morrison was set up for the Moonlight Drive, but Burke ran in to break it up, a snap DDT connecting, and he managed to avoid a running Miz, sending him right into the turnbuckle. Burke went for the Elijah Express, and it connected but Miz nor Burke were legal, and as Benjamin went for the Paydirt, Morrison put a foot down and nailed a huge C4 to pick up the victory!

Winners and STILL WWE Tag Team Champions: John Morrison and The Miz @ 12:52

John Morrison and The Miz celebrated their win whilst Elijah Burke limped over in disbelief, as Morrison and Miz were handed their WWE Tag Team Championships in a cheap manner, Burke aiding to Shelton Benjamin who seemed hurt on the canvas. Burke mouthed that this wasn't over, and it seemed that way for sure. An advertisement aired for WWE WrestleMania XXIV, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, March 30th 2008 from Orlando, Florida; 42 days away! We see an exterior shot of the Thomas & Mack Center here in Las Vegas, Nevada, as Joey Styles and Tazz introduced us to the ECW portion of the show, talking about No Way Out thus far. We cut to the backstage area where Batista was shown standing with Josh Mathews, as Mathews wanted to get the "Animal"s thoughts prior to his World Heavyweight Championship match tonight. Batista told Josh that he's all about the focus tonight, and that focus is regaining the World Heavyweight Championship that should have never gotten around the waist of the "Rated R Superstar". Batista talks about how La Familia ruined SmackDown, and Edge hurt his best friend Rey Mysterio last month at the Royal Rumble, so tonight he's out to hurt Edge. And he feels no remorse for ruining Edge and Vickie Guerrero's proposal time, or assisting Edge in harming Vickie either! John Bradshaw Layfield (c) vs Kofi Kingston

This match was the proving ground for Kofi Kingston, as this young rookie from Jamaica only debuted four weeks ago on ECW on Sci-Fi, and he's currently undefeated, having won a battle royal match this past Tuesday night on ECW, and then beating the ECW Champion's test, Chavo Guerrero this past Friday night on SmackDown. But both occasions, the "Wrestling God" got the better of Kofi, attacking him after the match, and wanting to complete his aim, in making Kofi pay his dues before becoming a big star. John Bradshaw Layfield toyed with Kofi early on, testing him to a test of strength and easily overpowering him, but Kofi fired back, using his athletic feet to nip up from the canvas in the test of strength and nail JBL with an STO, almost succeeding too. Kofi continued, using his agility to take the veteran off of his feet with a flying forearm, and Kingston followed up with a dropkick as well. But this was shortlived, as Layfield grabbed a hold of Kingston and seemed to not want much more, a pumphandle slam getting a two count for the ECW Champion. JBL continued his attack with a high knee, still getting two for Kofi. From there, JBL worked over the neck of Kofi, choking Kingston out with the top rope before continuing the attack once again, pounding at the back of his head and proceeding to slam him into the turnbuckle. Bradshaw seemed to be done though, as he nearly decapitated Kofi with the Clothesline From Hell! Kofi was pinned, but he just wouldn't stay down! Layfield seemed to be getting frustrated with Kingston, as Layfield seemingly underestimated Kofi's abilities. Kingston was set up for another Clothesline from Hell, but Kofi instead turned it into a hurricanrana sending Layfield into the middle rope; getting back up to receive Trouble in Paradise! Kofi got the cover, but Layfield managed to put his foot on the bottom rope, great ring presence from the "Wrestling God"! Kofi set up for another spin kick of his, but Layfield dodged it, another Clothesline From Hell connecting! Layfield covered, but yet again Kofi hung on and kicked out! Layfield was getting angry, and he picked the challenger up again, Joey Styles describing Kofi as 'paying his dues by sticking in there', getting Kingston over big-time on commentary. Kingston tried to fight back again, but Bradshaw cut it short with a huge big boot, still getting two! Layfield picked Kofi up for the powerbomb, and he nailed it, covering Kofi with his shoulders to the mat for two, and that's where JBL picked Kofi up for another, connecting, and covering again with the powerbomb position still locked in, and Kofi kicked out again! Layfield nailed a third powerbomb, then got Kofi lined up for the Clothesline From Hell, and he knocked Kofi backwards with the third Clothesline From Hell of this match! Layfield covered and got the eventual win.

Winner and STILL ECW Champion: John Bradshaw Layfield @ 8:57

John Bradshaw Layfield celebrated his win, spitting on Kofi Kingston as the "Wrestling God" was handed his ECW Championship, raising it highly and gladly, and even JBL had to admit that Kofi Kingston put up a hell of a fight to the grizzled veteran, Kofi being helped up holding his neck, and the fans applauded Kingston for his efforts, the "Jamaican Sensation"s undefeated streak shattered, but his pride and diginity, and reputation increased, this rookie of a month here in the WWE having stayed in there with a World Champion on live pay-per-view! Triple H was shown backstage, as he was joined at this time by Todd Grisham, Todd asking the "Cerebral Assassin" about the Elimination Chamber match tonight. Triple H talked about how he shouldn't of been screwed out of the WWE Championship by Vince McMahon, and he shouldn't have been taken out by Randy Orton. What Orton did to him was something bad, and for that, there would be nasty, cruel intentions and hell to pay. But not only for him, he wants to prove to the world that he is the "King of Kings", and that he can beat Jeff Hardy, he can beat Umaga. He can still beat Shawn Michaels, putting DX aside for one night. Tonight he wasn't letting anything stop him. The graphic for Edge and Batista aired, as Michael Cole and Jonathan Coachman talked about their rivalry and La Familia's dominance over SmackDown. They then presented a video package regarding La Familia's dominance, how Vickie Guerrero took over SmackDown after Theodore Long stepped away from the ring due to heart conditions; how Edge got into a relationship with the General Manager, and how La Familia was formed, with Edge beating Batista and the Undertaker at Armageddon to regain the World Heavyweight Championship. But that never passed Batista's mind, retribution was intended for Batista to grasp on many occasions, all of which included La Familia screwing him over. And so Batista interfered in Edge proposing to Vickie Guerrero, and ruined the night for all of La Familia. But tonight, he planned on taking the crown jewel of La Familia; the World Heavyweight Championship. 4) WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP |
Edge (c) vs Batista
The "Animal" was hyped up tonight, as after several months of being infuriated by the "Rated R Superstar", it was finally time for some payback, and for Edge there was No Way Out. The World Heavyweight Champion stated to La Familia that he wanted to handle this alone, but proved nothing physically at the start of this match, the "Animal" trying to go after Edge, just for the World Heavyweight Champion to climb out of the ring and try to avoid competition or contact with the challenger. But eventually Edge got in there and tried to take the worst, Batista pounding away at Edge and delivering a big boot stunning the "Rated R Superstar". Batista followed up with a short-arm clothesline, Batista covering, but he didn't want to be done with Edge this easily. Edge didn't want to lose either; he wanted to go onto WrestleMania XXIV to face the Undertaker. But then again so did Batista after losing to the "Phenom" last year at WrestleMania 23. Edge managed to get back into the swing of things however, coming out of nowhere with a chop block to the "Animal", bringing Batista to his knees and it seemed like Edge was going to go for the same strategy as he had at the Royal Rumble; working over Rey Mysterio's bad knee led to Mysterio needing surgery on it. The "Rated R Superstar" rained down with fists for Batista, not showing any affection to the big man. Batista seemed to be in pain as Edge continued the attack on the leg of Batista, wrenching Batista with several lefts and rights, then pulling apart the leg of the "Animal". Edge dragged Batista over to the ring post, applying a figure four leglock around the ring post, almost identical to last month at the Rumble once again! Edge continued the attack on the leg, getting ready to apply the Edgecator, but Batista soon managed to reach the ropes, though through various minutes of pain and anxiousness from this heated Las Vegas crowd. Batista caught a positive advantage though, as Edge tried coming off the top rope, but landed on his feet, perhaps twisting his knee or something, and Batista responded by clotheslining Edge to the canvas and grabbing the knee, dropping a leg over it, and then applying a Ric Flair tribute-style figure-four leglock to the "Rated R Superstar"s knee! Edge rived in pain as Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins ran down to ringside, Batista greeting them with a left hand to Ryder and then dragging Hawkins into the ring for a Spinebuster, but meanwhile Edge nailed Batista with another chop block, setting up in the corner for a Spear, but Batista dodged it and Edge sailed into the referee! Batista then nailed Edge with a spear of his own and got ready for the Batista Bomb, connecting with it on the World Heavyweight Champion, but the referee was down! Chavo Guerrero suddenly appeared, steel chair in hand and he clocked Batista over the head with it before escaping from the ring! Edge got the cover as the official slowly came over, one, two, but Batista fired out of the pinfall! Chavo and the Edgeheads were in disbelief as the "Animal" showed a lot of resilience, Edge clocking the official out of anger! Edge set up for another Spear attempt, Batista turning around but he fell to the canvas, his twisted knee in pain! Batista took advantage, and he added insult to the injury by applying the Edgecator on the "Rated R Superstar"! Edge was in pain, tapping out and all, but Chavo came in once again to be met with a Spinebuster! La Familia were like swarming flies to Batista, and he rolled out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair, chasing the Edgeheads away from ringside before slamming it into the spine of Chavo to show a clear example! Batista returned to the ring as he went for the Spinebuster but his knee gave out. Edge connected with the Edgecution but once again Batista kicked out! Edge groaned out of exhaustion as he went for the Spear again, but this time Batista clotheslined him and got him ready for the Batista Bomb, Edge not done yet though, and he managed to escape and nail the Edge-o-Matic, grabbing the leg for two! Batista got back up again, the Batista Bomb connecting on Edge! He went to cover, but Edge wisely escaped under the ropes to the ringside area. Batista was bored of games now, as he grabbed Edge and dragged him back into the ring again, Edge rolling out the other side of the ring, and he grabbed his World Heavyweight Championship, cleanly knocking Batista out with it in front of the referee! |

Winner by disqualification: Batista @ 15:11 But STILL World Heavyweight Champion: Edge

Edge shoved the referee down, as despite being disqualified, Edge was still going to WrestleMania XXIV as the World Heavyweight Champion! The "Rated R Superstar" waited for Batista to get back up for the Spear, but Batista sent Edge into the turnbuckle, then delivering the Spinebuster to the "Rated R Superstar"! The inner "Animal" was getting unleashed as he got set up for the Batista Bomb and he nailed him with it! The fans cheered as Batista didn't seem satisfied yet, tossing Edge out of the ring. Vickie Guerrero appeared on the rampway in her wheelchair, Chavo Guerrero wheeling her down as she was pleading for Batista not to hurt her fiancé, Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins getting scared off with a steel chair from Batista! Batista cracked Edge with the chair and followed up by delivering the Batista Bomb through the ECW announce table on the stunned Edge! Batista stood tall, despite not leaving No Way Out as the World Heavyweight Champion. In the backstage area, Shawn Michaels was shown warming up for competition until he was approached by Lena Yada, Lena wanting to get some words from the "Heartbreak Kid" before the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match. HBK told Lena that he spoke to Ric Flair today, and he's at home resting, ready to go jet-flying into Anaheim, California for RAW tomorrow to speak about his attacking at the Royal Rumble several weeks ago. But tonight, it was business. Shawn talked about how WrestleMania XXIV was coming up, and he's Mr WrestleMania, the Main Event, the Showstopper. Shawn talked about how he is one of the most fearless performers to step in that ring, and despite everything in recent months, the "Heartbreak Kid" intended to walk into Orlando, Florida as WWE Champion! The theme of Chris Jericho hit to a loud applause, as the 2008 Royal Rumble winner made his way down the rampway to a great reaction from the Las Vegas crowd, Y2J being met with 'Y2J' chants as he stood in the ring and talked about how chaotic tonight had been, but this was it, because after three weeks of thinking, it was time for the "Ayotollah of Rock 'n' Rolla" to announce who he was going to face at WrestleMania XXIV! Y2J talked about how he wanted to waste no time in getting on with our main event, as he talked about how it's been a tough decision to make, but he's going to make this announcement here and now! Y2J called for a drumroll, as it went on for over a minute, Y2J then yelling "THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP!" at the camera! The fans cheered, as Chris Jericho talked about how the RAW Elimination Chamber match was next, he was ready to watch it with his popcorn, but after tonight he wanted to warn the next WWE Champion to watch their backs, because Jericho said he was coming to save the WWE, and by winning the WWE Championship at the WWE's flagship pay-per-view event, the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania, he'll know that he's brought the WWE into a new, more beautiful light, courtesy of this "Sexy Beast"! Y2J left to an applause, Jericho to face the winner of this next match. The match graphic for the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber aired, and we cut to a video package running down the order of events that led to this show, originally starting in October, where Randy Orton was embedded in a rivalry with John Cena, the two scheduled to meet at No Mercy in a Last Man Standing match - but that match never happened as Orton attacked Cena on the RAW prior to the show, tearing his pectoral muscle and putting him on the sidelines for four months. Meanwhile, Vince McMahon vacated the WWE Championship that Cena was holding and awarded it to Randy Orton, who lost the title and then later regained the belt again from Triple H, slyly leaving No Mercy as champion. Orton dubbed RAW in the "Age of Orton", claiming himself as the "One Man Dynasty", as he racked up huge victories over Shawn Michaels at Cyber Sunday and the Survivor Series, Chris Jericho in December, and Jeff Hardy at the Royal Rumble. But tonight, the odds are stacked highly against him as he must defend against five of the WWE's fellow top stars, all competing for the WWE Championship, all of this...42 days away from the grandest stage of them all...WrestleMania XXIV! The AT&T poll results were shown by Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler, as John Cena was leading, followed by Triple H, Jeff Hardy, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton and Umaga in that order. 6) RAW'S WWE CHAMPIONSHIP ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH |
Randy Orton (c) vs Shawn Michaels vs Umaga vs Triple H vs Jeff Hardy vs John Cena

Jeff Hardy and Triple H started things off, and you knew this would be heated as these two previously met at Armageddon, Jeff Hardy being the man to walk out victorious, and out of that he was given a WWE Championship opportunity against Randy Orton at the Royal Rumble. Tonight, it was all contained into the same match. These two men fired lefts and rights in the opening moments, Triple H pulling out all of the stops with the spinebuster, Jeff Hardy firing back with a flying clothesline as well as the legdrop across the legs of the "Game", Triple H meanwhile coming back with a running knee to the jaw of the "Charismatic Enigma". Hunter then big back body dropped Hardy over the top rope onto the steel, as Triple H proved that this was all about the WWE Championship, rubbing Hardy's face against the chain-linked wall before continuing the attack on Jeff Hardy! Triple H nailed Jeff with a facebuster back inside of the ring and attempted the Pedigree, but Jeff managed to turn it into a catapult and Hunter flew into the turnbuckle, Hardy then getting the backslide for a very near fall! Hardy continued his attack, these two men willing to rip each others' head off, but was it wise when they were the first two men in this match? As the countdown began Jeff nailed the Twist of Fate out of nowhere, and decided to go up to the top rope for the Swanton Bomb but... Umaga was the first man out of the pod in this Elimination Chamber match, the "Samoan Bulldozer" starting off easily by knocking Jeff Hardy off of the top rope, then stepping into the ring and picking up Triple H just to drop him with the Samoan drop! Umaga followed up with a headbutt to the ribs of the "Cerebral Assassin", this multi-generational savage delivering the running hip bump to Jeff in the corner, Umaga then picking at Hardy's legs and pulling him out of the lower turnbuckle with a powerbomb variation landing! The "Samoan Bulldozer" went back after Triple H, but Hunter fired back this time, a running high knee for Umaga followed by several knife-edged chops, another tribute to Ric Flair! Triple H then managed to get Umaga up for the spinebuster, Jeff Hardy slowly getting back up and connecting with the floatover neckbreaker on the "Game"! Hardy soon caught Umaga when he was trying to kick him, Hardy with a step-over dropkick sending Umaga down to the canvas! Jeff sprung off of the middle rope and landed on Hunter with some type of Whisper in the Wind on Triple H, Hardy raising all sorts of heads in the making of our main event tonight! The "Samoan Bulldozer" got back up and went for the Samoan Spike on Jeff Hardy, but Hardy dodged it and dropkicked him out of the ring, then following up with a running Swanton Bomb over the top rope landing on Umaga! Triple H joined them, delivering another spinebuster on Jeff, this time on the bare steel! The countdown began as Triple H and Umaga once again went at it, Umaga managing to send the "Game" flying through an empty chamber pod, Umaga soon sending Jeff back into the ring as... Shawn Michaels was the next superstar out of the pod, so much on the line in this match; pride, dignity, the WWE Championship and retribution for so many of these participants. The "Heartbreak Kid" kicked up a storm, lefts and rights to everybody, including Triple H! Michaels nailed Umaga with the inverted atomic drop and then went for Sweet Chin Music but Umaga blocked it and got him with the Samoan Spike, covering but for a near fall! Jeff soon came in as he hesitantly went up to the rope and came off with a missile dropkick to his former idol Shawn Michaels, covering HBK for a near fall. Umaga returned to his feet and went back after Shawn, but Michaels came out of nowhere with Sweet Chin Music, and Umaga groggily turned around to receive the Pedigree from Triple H! Umaga was down, but Jeff Hardy was getting to his feet outside of the ring, before realizing and going up to the top rope, DX waiting for Jeff to nail Umaga with the Swanton Bomb; and it connected, Umaga was eliminated! Triple H and Shawn Michaels trapped Jeff Hardy though, DX setting the "Charismatic Enigma" up for being the recipient of some double-team actions from them. Jeff ate another spinebuster from Triple H, as Shawn Michaels nailed Jeff with the Diving Elbow for a two count, as Jeff miraculously made a comeback. The countdown hit as Jeff nailed Shawn with the Twist of Fate again, just to get a near fall, and... Randy Orton was the next man into the match officially, the "Viper" not happy to be in there, as Jeff Hardy and Triple H, exhausted looked over to see the WWE Champion hesitantly leave his pod, and the two rivals cornered him, calling a truce to get a hold of the WWE Champion! Triple H pounded away at Orton before tossing him into John Cena's chamber pod, all hell breaking loose as Cena then joined in on hammering Orton! Hunter gave Orton a backbreaker on the steel before Cena gave Orton an FU onto the steel floor, a sneak peek of what to come perhaps, when Cena officially enters the match! Orton was bleeding now, as Triple H and Jeff Hardy had their way with Orton; but Shawn Michaels then fought Hunter and Hardy away, Sweet Chin Music knocking Orton's lights out! But before he could cover, Triple H took Michaels down with a Pedigree! He got the cover, and Shawn Michaels was eliminated! We were down to three once again, as Triple H targeted Randy Orton who seemed to be trying to hide from the scene, and the countdown was initiated one last time tonight, Las Vegas knowing what to expect as John Cena got pumped up and... John Cena was the final entrant in this year's Elimination Chamber match, Cena rushing out and taking out Jeff Hardy with a shoulder block, a clothesline to Triple H on the steel, and then Cena grabbed Orton, delivering a second RKO to the "One Man Dynasty" on steel! The fans chanted 'Cena' as Hardy then fired back at him, a jawbreaker connecting! These four men were fighting an eye for an eye, and it was all worth it, to go into WrestleMania XXIV as the WWE Champion! John Cena delivered the FU to Hunter in the ring, but instead of covering he applied the STFU, and Triple H was in pain! Hunter previously tapped to this in the main event of WrestleMania 22, but he didn't want to go through it again, not on this level! Jeff Hardy meanwhile was climbing up to the top of a chamber pod, whilst Randy Orton got back into the ring, trading blows with Cena to break the STFU hold on Triple H, the three men trading blows in the centre of the ring, meanwhile the "Charismatic Enigma" was playing monkey bars with the top of the Chamber structure, and he reached the top of the structure, flipping over the top of the structure with a Swanton Bomb style "suicide" dive 20 feet down on the other three men! The fans chanted "holy sh*t" as this was a never-seen-before moment in this hectic structure! Hardy couldn't follow up though, and he was planted with an RKO from the "Viper"! But Cena wouldn't let Orton get the pin, tossing Orton over the top rope and then clotheslining him right out of the structure whilst Triple H rolled over and Jeff Hardy was eliminated! Cena left Randy Orton outside of the Chamber before returning to confront Triple H, these two men here for one thing and one thing only, the WWE Championship. The two came to blows quickly, Hunter with the high knee, Cena with a shoulder block and the hiptoss as well as the suplex, but these two men kept coming back for more; Triple H with a neckbreaker on the steel and an abdominal stretch effecting the pectoral muscle of Cena! Hunter worked over it more, then delivering a Pedigree, but Cena somehow managed to kick out! Hunter set up for a second one, but Cena managed to turn it into the FU, connecting for one, two, but Hunter kicked out this time! These two men were fighting all over the place for the WWE Championship, as Cena managed to block the toe kick from Triple H, turning it into a single legged crab into the STFU, the "Game" having nowhere to go! Hunter had no escape, no way out of this hold and this structure, but only by submitting! Cena kept it locked in, blood oozing down the face of the "King of Kings"! But he wouldn't quit, as Triple H finally broke free, a backdrop connecting to Cena! Hunter then applied the crossface on Cena, Cena with nowhere to go, and Cena rolled through to break it up. The two continued their attack as Cena daringly went to the top rope for a legdrop, but it missed, and Hunter planted him with the Pedigree! The crowd cheered in awe of these two gladiators, as the bell sounded and everybody thought Triple H had won this match! One official raised his hand as another had the WWE Championship prepared for the "King of Kings".

Winner and NEW WWE Champion: Triple H @ 34:03

The theme of the "Game" hit to a loud applause, Triple H grabbing the WWE Championship and he had finally gotten the job done and won the Elimination Chamber match, but more importantly he was going to WrestleMania XXIV! But suddenly one official ran into the ring and called off the decision, everyone unaware of what was going on. Suddenly, Randy Orton came from under the structure, climbing the steps into the Chamber and then into the ring, as the "Viper" kicked Triple H in the gut, and then delivered a massive PUNT to the skull of the bloody and dazed "King of Kings"! Orton hooked a leg as the official rang the bell, one, two, three!

Winner and STILL WWE Champion: Randy Orton @ 34:18

The crowd booed loudly as the "One Man Dynasty" had outsmarted us all! Randy Orton's arm was raised in victory as the bloody "One Man Dynasty" had never been officially eliminated from the match, and every official but one didn't noticed! Randy Orton stood tall inside of the Elimination Chamber structure with the WWE Championship raised high, whilst Triple H was helped out of the structure by two referees, Randy Orton celebrating in such sneaky fashion, and No Way Out went off the air!

No Way Out Review
Smackdown Chamber opening up the show and Undertaker winning the Smackdown Chamber, I already knew that he was going to walk out the winner, like it was way too obvious here if you ask me and now that Taker is going to Mania 24, he is going to be facing the World Heavyweight Champion either Edge or Batista at Mania 24 but I was glad that it was him & Punk as the final 2 men in the Chamber fighting it out and them having so much in-ring chemistry with each other
Mr. Kennedy retaining his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Lashley, I saw this coming from a country mile again, way too obvious but I love that Lashley put up a fight here against Kennedy, makes me wonder what Lashley will do for WrestleMania 24
Morrison & Miz still as WWE Tag Team Champions, I already saw this one coming, so far no titles have changed hands here and at this rate I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see any, but I would have loved to have seen Morrison and Miz lose their titles and then have one of them turn on the other one a year early
JBL beating Kofi Kingston to end his undefeated streak by retaining his ECW Championship, now this I love a whole lot because JBL with him holding the ECW Title, he can make this championship more relevant and make it more on the level of the WWE Title and World Title
I see it being Punk vs JBL for the ECW Championship at Mania 24
Edge beating Batista here I have to admit was the right call in Edge retaining his World Heavyweight Championship, would have loved to have seen Batista win here but now that Edge has retained, it is so obvious that it is going to be Edge vs Taker at Mania 24 for the World Heavyweight Championship
Jericho making his choice and choosing the WWE Championship was already too good to be true, if you ask me, like honestly, it was way too obvious in my opinion that that was the way Jericho was going to go, and now that he has, Jericho will be in the RAW main event at Mania 24 but the question is, who will he face?
I always had faith in Orton walking out still the WWE Champion, and he snuck his way through the backdoor yet again but doing it like how only my Viper could do it, and now that Jericho has Orton, it is an Armageddon 2007 rematch for the WWE Championship, seriously?
But nonetheless as a whole I will give you credit where it's due, this was a great pay per view stellar matches but altogether for me anyway it was just too obvious of a pay per view
