After getting the typical newcomer push on ECW (successful victories over local competitors, Goldust, and Shelton Benjamin) he was moved to RAW. In the year since that time he's won the WWE Title two times, had eight WWE Title matches on PPV, and been in the main event of four PPV's. Oh and he 'retired' the 12 time WWE Champion Triple Haitch (and Jamie BAH GAWD Noble, but nobody remembers him ). So do you now see Sheamus as being in the same category as guys like Cena, Orton, Edge, Jericho, etc. Or do you still see him as a flash in the pan, or a guy who will ultimately be joining guys like Jack Swagger and CM Punk in going from world champion main eventer to having generic midcard feuds?

He's gone well in Main event, but in last few week he seems to be dropped to midcard for the time being. The loss to Santino will no doubt lead to a Sheamus/Jomo feud which is a midcard feud.
But, I see him returning to the main event soon enough, Especially when HHH comes back.

He's 100% a main eventer, I could see him believably beating anybody in the company.
He'll be around for years.

I would consider him a main eventer, especially after beating HHH at Wrestlemania.
I just hope if he wins the title again that it isn't in some lame way like the last two times.

Sheamus is one of my favourites now, and his Mega-Push worked so well and I hope him and HHH countinue their feud. As for now his feud with JoMo might be very good, and might benifit both.

I think he's a pretty decent main eventer.

I like him, think he's quite good, I see him being in a spot like Triple H now, the constant ME, with the odd Mid-Card fued

He is a great main eventer, even though these last few weeks haven't seemed like it, there isn't much for Sheamus to do in the main event scene anyway with Barrett now going for the title.

He's grown on me since his feuds with John Cena and Triple H, I still remember watching the match where he retired Noble and then meeting Sheamus 3 days later!! I asked him about poor Noble and he said to me "The fella had it coming." Gotta love Sheamus, a very unique character. Too Many Limes ftw!!

Sheamus is a success story, there is no question.
I will still argue to the death that his push came way too hard way too fast. The one thing I was wrong about in judging the guy was the fact that he was good enough to bounce back from it.
I thought for sure Sheamus' career was as good as over after he lost the title for the first time, but he proved that he deserves the spot that he's in.
With that being said, I don't hold him up to the same expectations or level that I would, say, John Cena, Randy Orton, Edge, etc, but I do consider him a viable contender now.

He had a hugely successful year but at the same time I don't believe he deserved the success. I also think he's mediocre in the ring at best. In his defense he is fantastic on the mic and it has been good watching him grow week by week.
In the end I had to choose 'Limes'.

I thought he'd fall back into obscurity when he lost the belt buuuut he's still around and a real main eventer, and a guy I could see challenge for the belt at anytime....and it'd be believable.

No, I don't consider him a bona fide main-eventer. He's mid-card level mediocrity masquerading as a main-eventer, as far as I'm concerned - but he'll continue to be shoved down our throats, due to HHH being in love with him and Vince's hard-on for the Irish. There's nothing special whatsoever about Sheamus... and apart from his ridiculous appearance, there's nothing that makes him stand out from anyone else, nothing that separates him from the crowd and certainly nothing that makes him worthy of being mega-pushed over those who deserve it more. I could understand, if he was exceptional on the mic or in the ring - but he's not... he's as average as they come, but sadly he's not going away anytime soon. I will never take to him - he just doesn't interest or entertain me.
