WFIGS 'Other Brands' Awards Night 2010...!!
PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE REPLYING.
I thought it might be a good idea, and some fun leading up towards Christmas, to organise an Awards Night for our 'section' of these boards, which, if succesfull, could be done every year.
I've come up with 5 caterogies which I'll list below, in which the overall winner of each can proudly carry the title on here for 12 months, until the 2011 Awards Night.
Heres the 5 Catergories;
1) *COLLECTOR OF THE YEAR..
Who's collection do you prefer the most. Doesn't have to be the biggest or most expensive, just your own personal favourite.
2) *BEST INDIVIDUAL FIGURE OF THE YEAR.. (and it's owner if possible)
The stand out figure that you have seen on these boards that's been picked up during 2010. Again your own personal favourite, however rare or common.
3) *BEST POSTER OF THE YEAR..
Your favourite poster in this section. Who's posts do you most look forward to reading? Who's posts do you find most interesting? Who posts make you laugh the most? Etc..
4) *MOST HELPFULL MEMBER OF THE YEAR..
Speaks for its self really. Your favourite Member in this section. Who's helped you out on securing deals. Who's helped you out with shipping before? You get the idea..
5) *NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR..
The person you personally are most glad has joined these forums in the past 18 months or so, for whatever reason. (due to it being the first awards night, I've said 18 months instead of 12 so it's fair. Just over 18 months would be fine)
How it's going to work/Rules..
Starting from TODAY, anyone who visits and contributes to this section of the forum ; OTHER BRANDS, can PM ME (Adam74) there winners of each of the 5 catergories. You have untill Wednesday December 29th to send me your votes, with the full results being posted on Thursday December 30th.
When sending me your choices, please clearly state who your winners are and for which catergory. Please send all 5 together in one PM, any seperate ones WILL NOT COUNT. Any pms after December 29th will NOT be counted.
Please feel free to have chit chat and express your opinions about the Awards night on this thread, which will be stickied by STOM, but DO NOT post your Votes on it, they must be sent by PM.
I have run the idea by STOM, who thinks it's a great idea and even mentioned the possibility of some Prizes for the winners of certain catergories, along with the honour of carrying the respective title for 12 months.

*Unfortunately, no voting for YOURSELF in any catergory.
