Kings Court w/Razor Ramon: Jerry Lawler insults the fans before introducing the man who turned on Rick Martel last Monday at SummerSlam. As Ramon makes his way down to the ring, Martel attacks him from behind and Lawler leaves the ring to the aisle way to add insult to the attack. Crush defeated Mike Bell in 2:48 with the Kona Vice. 5. Jim Cornette Interview: Jim Ross conducts an interview with Jim Cornette and the mystery man who attacked Ron Simmons last week on Superstars. Cornette says that with the addition of the man to his left, the toughest man ever to come out of Finland, along with Yokozuna they will be unbeatable. Ross asks who the man is, and Cornette tells us he is Ludvig Borga. He talks about Borga being feared in Finland and is now here to control the World Wrestling Federation. Cornette tells us that it’s not over with Simmons, Crush and now Randy Savage. “This isn’t over until we are satisfied and we are far from being satisfied.” Borga chimes in and says in broken English, “Simmons… Crush… Macho Man… you will all find out what Ludvig Borga is all about!” 6. WWF World Tag Team Champions Steiner Brothers defeated the Natural Disasters in 6:56 when Scott pinned Typhoon. McMahon reveals to Michaels that tomorrow night on RAW, a ten man battle royal will be taking place with the winner meeting Michaels at the October SNME on October 23rd. WWF RAW: Monday 31st August 1993...I loved RAW, 10/10.
WWF Superstars of Wrestling: Saturday 4th September 1993...Welcome to September. Jerry Lawler with the win is good, and liked his promo on Razor Ramon. Him on the King's Court should start a very good feud with Lawler and Ramon over the next couple of weeks. Hope you aren't planning a September Saturday Night's Main Event if I'm honest. Not enough build. Also keeps the importance of SNME as a TV special up rather than being 'every month but pay-per-view months'. The Steiner Brothers with the win is good. Glad to see the Quebecers already targeting the gold. You should hold a contender's tournament for the WWF Tag Team Championships, or even the Intercontinental Championship. SO much variety. So many superstars/teams to use. Doink the Clown beating Virgil was likely. Expected a little bit of a longer match, expecting Virgil to put up a fight against Doink. The Steiners' promo? Necessary after their match? Should have built something else up. Yokozuna losing by disqualification to Randy Savage is fine, BIG main event though, liked the mystery man attacking Ron Simmons and Yoko standing tall. I'd love it if it was Crush. "Mystery man with a grin of approval". How? I thought he was masked. Eventful episode.
WWF Wrestling Challenge: Sunday 5th September 1993...Tatanka beating Beau Beverly is fine, not too bad an opening contest, just wouldn't intrigue me. Mr Perfect's promo was good. Hmm, Mr Perfect and Lex Luger for the WWF Championship would be good at Saturday Night's Main Event. The Quebecers with a win is good. Shame that Koko B. Ware is now teaming with enhancement talent. Isn't PJ Walker the future Justin Credible? Hmm. Wish you gave certain enhancement talents some momentum really. Koko was still appealing to the younger fans, as Virgil was still an old school fighter. Marty Jannetty beating Chris Kanyon is fine. Still don't find Jannetty good as a solo wrestler though. He had skills, sure. But he was never appealing to me without Shawn Michaels. Irwin R. Schyster with a win against the Kamikaze Kid is fine, decent main event had Kid put up more of a fight. Not too bad an episode.
WWF RAW: Monday 6th September 1993...Another spot on, A+ show. 11/10.
WWF Superstars of Wrestling: Saturday 11th September 1993...Interesting to see the Undertaker start working with Lex Luger, would be a great feud. The same goes for Diesel, a good feud? Maybe not. Mr Perfect feuding with Shawn Michaels would be good on the other hand. Still think you need to get over the fact that Diesel is Shawn's backup. He's more of an individual star. And if you want Diesel or Shawn to become a face anytime in the future, you ruin the chance of what actually happened (one man turning on another). Jeff Jarrett with a win is fine. Jim Neidhart against Jarrett in a Hair match is interesting. Don't let Jarrett have the buzzcut look he had later in the 90s just yet. Really, Neidhart should have made the match. Why would Jarrett himself want to put his beautiful blonde hair on the line? Razor Ramon's King's Court promo was pretty good, liked Rick Martel attacking Razor. Made Martel look great again. Keep pushing him. He's a future WWF Intercontinental Champion in the making. The Undertaker and Crush both in action is fine. Oh god, Mike Bell. Hopefully Crush didn't drop him on his head. Ludvig Borga I'm mixed on...Jim Cornette would make him look fantastic. But Borga wasn't that good a wrestler from what I recall. The Steiner Brothers beating the Natural Disasters is a good main event, bit short though, for a SummerSlam rematch. Liked Earthquake turning on Typhoon though. Typhoon was useless compared to Earthquake. Overall, another big, eventful episode.
WWF Wrestling Challenge: Sunday 12th September 1993...Rick Martel beating Barry Horowitz is dandy. Bret Hart's promo was cool, liked how he didn't want to speak to camera. Potential heel turn too? Him turning his back on the Hitmen kids...Lex Luger killing his spirit...et cetera. Ron Simmons and the Smoking Gunns had nice developing matches. Shawn Michaels without Diesel again...hmm. Him and Diesel need to start teaming up again. They really do, not in tag matches necessarily, but more in singles match. Shawn brought Diesel in to be a bodyguard: last I checked, Shawn didn't use him to beat Tatanka at SummerSlam. Another main event loss for the Kamikaze Kid against Diesel. Hope that this is just slow build for the Kid. Not so much on this episode. Decent two weeks though.

A Luger/Perfect programme would be pretty cool, and also unique. Looking forward to seeing what you have planned for Flair when he comes back, maybe a programme with Bret Hart? Not sure how I'd like a Earthquake push but he is that big monster that WWF liked at the time. Looking forward to Saturday's Night Main Event, could see it being the show where Shawn Michaels loses the IC title.

Week 37: September 13th - September 19th
WWF RAW 9/13/1993 (Manhattan, NY) 1. Earthquake defeated Koko B. Ware in 2:14 following a sit down splash. During the bout, pre-tape comments from Earthquake were shared as he says that he is a pissed off monster and a unbeatable force to be messed with here in the WWF now that he got rid of his dead weight keeping him down! 2. Kings Court w/ Lex Luger: Jerry Lawler introduces the new WWF World Champion, Lex Luger. Luger comes down to the ring with three women holding mirrors in front of him as he constantly has to see the championship around his waist. After Luger enters the ring and shows off the championship on his ripped body, Lawler begins the interview. Lawler puts Luger over the greatest champion in WWF already and says that Luger is truly the best. Luger thanks Lawler for speaking facts and says that he kept to his word that he would be the WWF World Champion. Luger tells Lawler that winning the WWF World Championship has been a lifelong dream and this dream will never come to an end because he is superior to everyone else in the World Wrestling Federation. Lawler lists off some names that have made it clear that they want a title shot, such as former champion Bret Hart, Ron Simmons, and the Undertaker. Luger tells us that anyone who wants a title shot can sign their name on the dotted line. He isn’t going to run away from anyone because he knows he will walk out the victor. As Luger goes to continue to speak, WWF President comes down to the ring to little fan fair and tells Luger that next week on RAW, he and other WWF officials will make a judgment on who will be the man to challenge Lex Luger for the WWF World Championship. Luger isn’t worried at all at the announcement as the fans are chanting for either Bret or Perfect to get the title shot. 3. The Smoking Gunns defeated Carl Williams/Steven Johnson in 2:45 when Bart pinned Williams. 4. Crush defeated Blake Beverly in 4:03 with the Kona Vice. 5. The Canadian Crippler Hype Video: A video promoting the Canadian Crippler, Chris Benoit is aired. The focus of the video is on the strength of his hands. During the video, Benoit is training in the ring against students who he takes out in record time. Benoit locks in a submission hold that is dubbed by the “Crossface.” The narrator says “soon to be making WWF superstars tap out, the Canadian Crippler, Chris Benoit.” 6. Doink the Clown defeated Mike Bell in 2:45 following the Whoopee Cushion. During the bout, the announcers hype up next weeks RAW featured match that will see Doink take on Bret Hart. 7. Razor Ramon won a 10 man battle royal to earn a WWF Intercontinental Championship match on 10/23 by eliminating Rick Martel in 14:25. The other eight men involved were, Jeff Jarrett, Jim Neidhart, IRS, Marty Jannetty, the Kamikaze Kid, Owen Hart and Ted DiBiase. During the bout, Shawn Michaels called the match on commentary and after Ramon won he had a stare down with Ramon to close out the show.
WWF House Show 9/17/1993 (North Charleston, SC, 4,575) 1. Ted DiBiase defeated Owen Hart 2. Jeff Jarrett defeated Jim Neidhart 3. WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels defeated Crush to retain the title. 4. WWF World Tag Team Champions Steiner Brothers defeated the Headshrinkers to retain the titles. 5. Earthquake defeated Virgil 6. Ron Simmons fought Ludvig Borga to a double disqualification 7. WWF World Champion Lex Luger defeated Bret Hart to retain the title.
WWF House Show 9/18/1993 (Florence, SC, 5,800) 1. Ted DiBiase defeated Owen Hart 2. Razor Ramon defeated Rick Martel 3. The Undertaker defeated IRS 6. Ron Simmons/Crush defeated Ludvig Borga/Yokozuna by disqualification 7. WWF World Champion Lex Luger defeated Bret Hart to retain the title.
WWF Superstars 9/18/1993 1. Jerry Lawler defeated Mark King in 2:27 following a pile driver. 2. Mr. Perfect Interview: Jim Ross conducted an interview with Mr. Perfect who got a warm reception from the crowd. Ross gives Perfect props for beating the man that impacted his life a great deal for nearly a year, Ric Flair. Perfect tells Ross that he would’ve gone insane if he was unable to beat Flair. He was close on several occasions to beating “the man” but at SummerSlam he delivered and won the biggest match of his career, at least up to that point. Perfect transitions into talking about Lex Luger, who he lost to at WrestleMania. Perfect says this has been a year of redemption and is looking to get revenge on Luger and there is no better revenge then by winning the WWF World Championship. He believes with the win over Ric Flair a few weeks ago, he has to be considered a favorite to get a shot. “If I get the title shot, Lex Luger, it is an opportunity I will not let slip through my fingers!” 3. The Headshrinkers defeated Casey Cleric/Brian Boyer in 2:44 when Fatu pinned Cleric. 4. Jim Cornette/Yokozuna/Ludvig Borga Interview: Vince McMahon conducted an interview with Cornette and his monsters Yokozuna and Ludvig Borga. Cornette tells us that a contract has been made up for a tag team match on October 23rd at Saturday Nights Main Event. He wants Simmons and Crush to step up to the plate and try to beat both of his men. Cornette hypes up his men as the guys that will crush, pun intended, the hopes and dreams of Simmons and Crush! 5. The Undertaker defeated Davey Starr in 1:39 following a tombstone pile driver. 6. Tatanka Interview: Jim Ross tries to interview Tatanka, but he is cut off by Jerry Lawler who returned to ringside. Lawler tells Tatanka that he shouldn’t get any air time because he has been constantly losing matches. Lawler insults him by calling him a loser and a disgrace to his heritage. Tatanka ends up having enough and chops Lawler when he brings up how Chief Jay Strongbow should take away his headdress and give it to someone else. Tatanka tries to get his hands on Lawler, who crawls away, but is held back by security. 7. Jeff Jarrett defeated Marty Jannetty in 7:34 following a jumping double arm DDT.
WWF Wrestling Challenge 9/19/1993 1. The Kamikaze Kid defeated Larry Ludden in 2:57 following a top rope moonsault. 2. Jim Neidhart Interview: Jim Ross conducted an interview with Jim Neidhart, who quickly tells us that he accepts the hair vs. hair match against Jeff Jarrett for Saturday Nights Main Event on October 23rd. Neidhart says that he is going to shave off Jarrett’s precious gold locks and get the last laugh! 3. WWF World Tag Team Champions Steiner Brothers defeated Alan Warren/Al Burke in 3:53 when Scott pinned Warren. During the bout, the Quebecers cut a promo promoting a non-title match they have against the Steiner Brothers next week on WWF Superstars. Jacques says that once they beat the Steiner’s next week, they will finally get a tag team title shot and take the titles off the “dumb Michigan boys.” 4. Randy Savage defeated Jim Gorman in 2:18 following a top rope elbow drop 5. Rick Martel/Razor Ramon Brawl: Rick Martel made his way down to the ring for a interview with Vince McMahon, but just as he did to Ramon last week on Superstars, Ramon attacks Martel from behind and ended up hitting the Razors Edge on the aisle way! WWF RAW: Monday 13th September 1993...Earthquake beating Koko B. Ware is a fine opening contest, pretty good clip promo from him as well. Hope he gets pushed majorly. The King's Court with Lex Luger was good, very enjoyable promo. I like Lex Luger's confidence as WWF Champion, but hope he gets quite a few television title defences. Could up the importance of Monday Night RAW. The Smoking Gunns and Crush with wins are pretty decent. Chris Benoit debuting could be quite interesting. Just don't push him too quickly. Slightly generic gimmick for his time though. I would have debut him as a heel. Doink the Clown with a win is cool. Good that Doink's facing Bret Hart next week, should be a good match. I would have gotten rid of a squash match to make room for that battle royal, and expanded on the battle royal by another ten men. Razor Ramon with the win is good, glad you kept the same finish as what he did with Rick Martel. You made a typo that appears you were thinking of making Owen Hart the winner...good call to stick with Ramon. Decent episode.
WWF Superstars of Wrestling: Saturday 18th September 1993...Jerry Lawler with a win is cool. Mr Perfect's interview was good, his match with Lex Luger at Saturday Night's Main Event should be good. The Headshrinkers with a win is absolutely fine. Push them, I say. Camp Cornette's interview was good, please let this be the end of Ron Simmons' feud with Yokozuna. And please keep making Yokozuna look good so he can enter the main event. Ludvig Borga holds the impressive wrestler down. The Undertaker with a win is acceptable. Tatanka's interview was good. Liked him starting on Jerry Lawler. Jeff Jarrett beating Marty Jannetty is a fine main event, and this was an average episode with nothing special going on.
WWF Wrestling Challenge: Sunday 19th September 1993...The Kamikaze Kid with a win at last. Jim Neidhart's interview was good. Looking forward to their Hair match at Saturday Night's Main Event. The Quebecers against the Steiner Brothers, I suspect Pierre and Jacques to get the win. Exact same scenario as the Natural Disasters' feud with the Steiners then. Please make this feud more original. Even if you have the Quebecers use prodsticks. Randy Savage with a win is fine. What else can Savage possibly do anyway now? Rick Martel and Razor Ramon's brawl was good. A rematch next week perhaps? Ted Dibiase beating Billy Gunn is fine, nice individual showcase for the Smoking Gunn. Nothing happening on this show, been a quiet week except for RAW.

Week 38: September 20th - September 26th
WWF RAW 9/20/1993 (Manhattan, NY) 1. Yokozuna/Ludvig Borga defeated Chris Kanyon/Mark Starr in 2:27 when Borga pinned Starr following a shoulder breaker. 2. Kings Court w/Chief Jay Strongbow: Lawler opens the segment insulting the fans and the “loser” Tatanka until he introduces the man that put Tatanka under his wing, Chief Jay Strongbow. Strongbow heads down to the ring while Lawler insults Strongbow’s age. Lawler talks about how Tatanka has been losing more matches than Barry Horowitz as of late! Lawler thinks that Strongbow should be embarrassed by Tatanka. Lawler asks why would anyone want someone like Tatanka to be their protégé. Strongbow tells Lawler that he is proud of Tatanka, a former WWF Intercontinental Champion, and asks Lawler what has he done in the WWF? Strongbow tells Lawler that he is a self proclaimed king and is really a nobody here. However, Tatanka is a champion and is going through the aches and pains of wrestling. Lawler tries to defend himself by saying that if he were champion, he would have held it longer than two months, and tells Strongbow that if he had fought Tatanka while he was undefeated, he would have ended his undefeated streak much earlier than it had ended! Strongbow wants Lawler to back up his talk and Lawler says he will. So, Lawler ends up striking Strongbow with a right jab and tries to pile drive Strongbow but Tatanka runs down and scares Lawler out of the ring! Tatanka checks on Strongbow while he is clearly fuming over Lawler hitting his mentor! 3. The Undertaker defeated LA Gore in 2:06 following a tombstone pile driver. During the bout, pre-tape comments from Earthquake were aired and he said that he is a natural disaster that the Undertaker wouldn’t be able to survive. Quake wants to be on top and he is going to get there, starting with the Undertaker! 4. Jack Tunney Interview: Vince McMahon introduces WWF President Jack Tunney who will reveal the number one contender to the WWF World Champion, Lex Luger. Tunney tells McMahon that he and other officials considered everything when determining a challenger for Luger and believe that they have found the perfect challenger. After a brief amount of teasing, Tunney says that the next time Luger defends the championship in the near future he will be doing so… against Mr. Perfect! 5. Rick Martel defeated Mark Thomas in 3:42 with the Boston Crab. 6. The Canadian Crippler Hype Video: A video promoting the debut of the Canadian Crippler is aired. During the video, the Crippler, Chris Benoit, mentions that he was trained by the Hart Family but says that he ended up training to be better than Bret and Owen Hart. Benoit believes that he will be the greatest wrestler to compete in the WWF and we will all witness that sooner rather than later! 7. Bret Hart defeated Doink the Clown in 8:29 with the Sharpshooter. WWF House Show 9/24/1993 (Chicago, IL, 6,500) 1. Jeff Jarrett defeated Jim Neidhart 2. Earthquake defeated Virgil 3. WWF World Tag Team Champions Steiner Brothers defeated the Quebecers to retain the titles 4. Tatanka defeated Jerry Lawler 5. Ludvig Borga defeated Crush 6. Bret Hart defeated Doink the Clown 7. WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels/Diesel defeated Razor Ramon/Marty Jannetty 8. WWF World Champion Lex Luger fought Mr. Perfect to a no contest WWF House Show 9/25/1993 (New York, NY, 15,030) 1. Rick Martel defeated the Kamikaze Kid 2. Ted DiBiase defeated Owen Hart 3. WWF World Tag Team Champions Steiner Brothers defeated the Quebecers to retain the title. 4. Ron Simmons/Crush defeated Yokozuna/Ludvig Borga 5. WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels defeated Razor Ramon thanks to Martel interference to retain the title. 6. Bret Hart defeated Doink the Clown 7. Bam-Bam Bigelow defeated Randy Savage 8. The Undertaker defeated IRS 9. Mr. Perfect defeated WWF World Champion Lex Luger by disqualification WWF Superstars 9/25/1993 1. The Smoking Gunns defeated Vito Lograsso/Barry Hardy in 2:55 when Billy pinned Lograsso. 2. Rick Martel Interview: Jim Ross interviewed Rick Martel regarding his match with Razor Ramon on RAW next week. Martel tells Ramon that he made a big mistake by embracing the fans and turning on Martel at SummerSlam. Martel says that he is going to beat the machismo out of Ramon and make it clear that he should be the man to wrestle Shawn Michaels for the WWF Intercontinental Championship! 3. Jeff Jarrett defeated Rex King in 3:04 following a jumping DDT. During the bout, Jim Neidhart shared some pre-tape comments saying that he is going to cut off Jarrett “pretty goldy locks.” 4. Mr. Perfect Interview: Vince McMahon conducted an interview with the number one contender for the WWF World Championship, Mr. Perfect. McMahon praises Perfect for always battling and never giving up such as beating his hated rival, Ric Flair at SummerSlam inside a steel cage. Perfect tells McMahon that he is on the path of redemption and having beaten Flair, he is looking to beat the man who he lost to at WrestleMania. Perfect knows that Luger has been dominate but unlike Bret Hart, he has wrestled Luger before and knows what to expect. Perfect says he is going to have the happy year end moment when he lives the dream of being the WWF World Champion! 5. Razor Ramon defeated Tony Webb in 2:54 following the Razors Edge. 6. Tatanka Interview: Jim Ross interviews Tatanka who is livid about Jerry Lawler attacking his mentor this past week on RAW. Tatanka tells us that Jerry Lawler is going to regret putting his hands on someone so important to him. Tatanka keeps it short saying that he is going to stop his “big match losing streak” but knocking the King of his throne! 7. The Quebecers defeated WWF World Tag Team Champions the Steiner Brothers in 10:36 when Pierre pinned Scott after a hockey stick shot. The hockey stick shot came from the Quebecers new manager, Johnny Polo, who made his debut prior to the match. Polo celebrated with the Quebecers as they are now in line to get a WWF World Tag Team Championship match. WWF Wrestling Challenge 9/26/1993 1. Diesel defeated Chris Duffy in 2:09 following a power bomb. During the bout, pre-tape comments from Diesel were aired where he said he is on a path of destruction and no one better get in his way! 2. Bam-Bam Bigelow Interview: Jim Ross conducted an interview with Bam-Bam Bigelow. Ross mentions Bigelow losing the war with the Undertaker, which Bigelow doesn’t think is the case. Bigelow mentions that he beat Taker at WrestleMania and thinks that makes them even at 1-1. However, for whatever reason WWF officials don’t think it is safe for the company for them to compete against each other again. This pisses off Bigelow, who says he doesn’t want the last thing fans to remember is the better wrestler of the two losing. Bigelow is going to make sure he changes the officials minds “one way or another.” 3. Ron Simmons/Crush defeated Scott Richardson/Dave Wright in 2:07 when Simmons pinned Wright following a spine buster. 4. Jim Neidhart defeated Glenn Ruth in 2:48 following a running power slam. 5. Shawn Michaels Interview: Vince McMahon conducted an interview with WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels. Michaels focus is on his new challenger, Razor Ramon. Michaels doesn’t know what got into Ramon to become “one of the good guys” but if he needs to knock some sense into him with his boot, he will do just that. Michaels proclaims himself the greatest WWF Intercontinental Champion and from what he has seen, Ramon isn’t anywhere near qualified to hold his championship. Michaels finishes off the segment telling McMahon that Ramon is going to be laid out on the mat and pinned 1-2-3. 6. Ted DiBiase defeated Owen Hart in 6:13 with the Million Dollar Dram. WWF House Show 9/26/1993 (Philadelphia, PA, 7,000) 1. Rick Martel defeated the Kamikaze Kid 2. Ted DiBiase defeated Owen Hart 3. Bret Hart defeated Doink the Clown 4. WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels defeated Razor Ramon thanks to Martel interference to retain the title. 5. WWF World Tag Team Champions Steiner Brothers defeated the Quebecers to retain the titles. 6. Bam-Bam Bigelow defeated Marty Jannetty 7. The Undertaker defeated IRS 8. WWF World Champion Lex Luger fought Mr. Perfect to a double count-out. [/font]

"Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit and WWF in 1993 don't go hand-in-hand. The majority of the WWF fanbase at this time were children, and someone dubbed the "Crippler" gives off a bad image. Not to mention it's been done so many times in the past that it just doesn't work for me at all. I'd prefer to see him as Pegasus Kid, something different and something more kid-friendly and fitting for this era.

WWF RAW: Monday 20th September 1993...Yokozuna and Ludvig Borga with a win makes them look dominant, and stand out on the opening contest of the flagship show. Chief Jay Strongbow on the King's Court? Genius! Jerry Lawler is really getting under Tatanka's skin and I'm enjoying it. The Undertaker winning is fine, I'm looking forward to where this feud with 'Taker and Earthquake goes, but it reminds me sort've of the 'Taker and Bam Bam Bigelow feud, in a way. Make sure that the selling point on this feud is all around if the Undertaker can Tombstone the big man, or even Chokeslam him. Jack Tunney's promo was pretty good, was pretty obvious that Mr Perfect would be the number one contender to the WWF Championship. I don't see Perfect taking the title at Saturday Night's Main Event though. Rick Martel with a win is fine, no problem with that. Another Chris Benoit segment was good, I'd love to see Benoit team with Owen Hart honestly. Bret Hart beating Doink the Clown is a pretty solid main event. Overall, nothing bad on this show, pretty much more build for Saturday Night's Mian Event next month.
WWF Superstars of Wrestling: Saturday 25th September 1993...The Smoking Gunns with a win is fine. It's about time they start getting into something to do in my opinion. Rick Martel's was quite good, looking forward to his match with Razor Ramon, but I predict that Ramon will walk out victorious. Jeff Jarrett with a win is cool, no worries there. Jim Neidhart's promotion for their Hair match was good. Still see Neidhart's head being shaved though. Mr Perfect's interview was good, but it isn't doing anything to make me convinced that he's leaving Saturday Night's Main Event as WWF Champion. Razor Ramon with a win is always good. Tatanka's interview was to prepare his feud with Jerry Lawler, no problem. The Quebecers beating the Steiner Brothers was predicted, loved the finish, and a solid main event, I see Jacques and Pierre feuding with the Steiner Brothers until the Survivor Series. Not too much happening on this show, but it hit the spot well.
WWF Wrestling Challenge: Sunday 26th September 1993...Diesel with a win is fine. Nothing too special, not liking him as a solo star at all though. It took Shawn Michaels to get Diesel over enough to work solo; not to mention over a two year span. I can't really buy Diesel as a singles star yet. Bam Bam Bigelow's interview was good, stating that he was still alive after losing to the Undertaker a month ago. Ron Simmons and Crush seems like an awkward combination, but they both have some sort of patriotic gimmick going, so it's fine. Jim Neidhart with a win is always alright. Shawn Michaels' interview was good, based on Razor Ramon. I'd actually love it if we got a shock relief WWF Intercontinental Championship win for Razor. I hope we still get Shawn and Razor at WrestleMania X in the Ladder match. Lastly, Ted Dibiase beating Owen Hart is fine, good main event. Overall, a decent show, probably liked it more than Superstars. Storyline progressing week.

Raw: The team of Yokozuna and Borga picking up the win is obvious, makes them look dominant. From seeing this segment alone I can tell the Lawler/Tatanka segment has been great and it will be great in the coming weeks. Earthquake and Taker is good, it could probably become a major feud if given the right time. Perfect vs Luger should be an awesome title match. Chris Benoit? that's awesome. Bret Hart getting the win in the main event is for the best. Good Raw, can't wait to see Perfect/Luger.
Superstars: Standard tag bout, I like the Smoking Guns picking up the win. I definitely think Razor Ramon will beat Martel, Ramon should get pushed big time imo. I like Jarrett winning, a feud with Neidhart, meh. Mr. Perfect's interview was great, I really think he's going to beat Luger. Razor getting the squash victory is obvious. Tatanka's interview carried on the feud with Lawler, so it did what it was meant to do. I never really liked The Quebecers, but it gives The Steiner Brothers someone to feud with.
Wrestling Challenge: I think Diesel is going to end up getting a big streak going. Uh oh, Bigelow is back on his tirade, I hope we get one more match between Him and Taker. I especially like that the Officials don't think it's safe for them to have another match. Ron Simmons and Crush dominating is good, I guess. Gives them something to do. Jim Neidhart getting the win here is obvious, gives him some momentum for when he goes against Jarrett. Please give Razor the strap! DiBiase going over Owen is a good main event, it would be an enjoyable match. I definitely liked this show more than Raw and Superstars.

RAW - I do like that you use future stars later in the decade as jobbers now, it's very cool. The UnAmerican pair of Borga/Yoko getting a rub is great. The King's Court segment was great, Lawler vs. Tatanka could be a great feud! Undertaker with a win, good stuff, would like him to work with a smaller opponent though coming off a feud with Bam Bam. Perfect as new #1 Contender was expected. Martel, I can really give or take, so I don't care too much for his win. Canadian Crippler, hmm, I'll agree with Chaz and say that doesn't fit the era too much, but maybe that's good, a more 'real' gimmick in a world full of over the top guys, could get him over. Bret with the win against Doink in the main event, I like it, and caps off an entertaining RAW.
Superstars - Smoking Gunns with the win was good, like Vito making an appearance. Rick Martel, again, not too fussed about him, doubt he'll beat Razor. JJ getting a win, great stuff, Neidhart is who he's feuding with? Interesting. Enjoyed the interview with Mr. Perfect, would like to see him get a run as WWF Champion. Razor with the win was good, only pushes the fact that I think he'll beat Martel on RAW next week. Tatanka's interview pushed the feud with Lawler, good stuff. Johnny Polo managing the Quebecers, yes, I'm a fan! Good stuff man, and if they are in line for a shot at the Steiner's titles, I look forward to seeing who comes out on top. Good Superstars man!
Wrestling Challenge - Diesel getting a win was a good way to start. Bam Bam interview was very enjoyable, and the cliffhanger of sorts at the end has me interested. Liked the pairing of Crush and Simmons, two big powerhouses. Neidhart over the future Thrasher, I like it. Enjoyed HBK's interview, Ramon and Michaels having a match before WMX could be potenitally great in my opinion! Good main event to close the show with DiBiase over Owen Hart, capped off another enjoyable show!
Enjoyed the shows this week, Bob, you're utilising your talent well and pushing some good storylines, good stuff!

WWF Monday Night Raw Sorry for not replying as of late, Bob. Yokozuna and Ludvig Borga is such an interesting combination. Good to see they got the win. The Kings Court w/Chief Jay Strongbow is brilliant. It was really well written out and I loved all of it. Good save by Tatanka. This should be an interesting feud. Good win for The Undertaker. Taker/Earthquake feud starting up? Should be cool, I always liked John Tenta. Lex Luger facing Mr. Perfect should be good. I see Lex retaining the title, though. I recall them some matches in real life. Oh man, I'd love to see Benoit in a feud with The Harts! That would be awesome! Good main event with Bret Hart beating Doink the Clown with the Sharpshooter. Overall, good stuff, Bob.
WWF Superstars The Smoking Gunns getting the win is okay. I hope we get to see a triple threat match for the Intercontinental Championship down the line. It would be pretty unique for this time period. Good win for Double J. I almost forgot he was still feuding with Jim. Razor Ramon with the win is good. Oh, looks like we have new number one contenders. Good debut for Johnny Polo. Not a bad episode, even though the only match worth watching is the main event.
WWF Wrestling Challenge Diesel kicking off the show with a win is okay. Hopefully we see him make some noise in 1994. I guess Bam-Bam isn't done with Undertaker just yet. I really can't complain, though. Ron Simmons and Crush picking up the win isn't bad. Same thing goes for Jim Neidhart. Liked the HBK interview, I hope we get to see the ladder match at some point in time. You just have so many options with your roster, Bob, it's great. Finally good main event with the Million Dollar Man picking up the win. Good week of TV. Can't wait for some of these new feuds to really start kicking in.

McMahon hopes that Hart will be the guy who dethrones Luger because he deserves to be the champion. Hart thanks McMahon for the kind words and says that being the WWF World Champion is the most important thing for him from a personal and professional standpoint. Hart explains that the financial success that being the WWF World Champion provides allows him to take care of his growing family, and without it he can’t do that which is hurting him inside. He tells McMahon that he is going to continue to fight to win back the WWF World Championship so he can be at the top of the company and be able to take care of everyone in his family. McMahon closes the interview saying that Bret Hart is someone that everyone should idolize. 3. IRS defeated Virgil in 3:55 following a running lariat. 4. He claims that he is a manager of champions and hasn’t failed at having his guys win championships. Polo continues by saying that the Steiner Brothers may have the championships but that the Quebecers are the best team in the WWF right now and they will prove it! 5. Brawl: Vince McMahon, Randy Savage and Bobby Heenan are talking about the feud between the Undertaker/Bam-Bam Bigelow being too dangerous for WWF officials to allow them to wrestle again. Savage tells us that the Undertaker proved that he is the toughest man going in the WWF by beating Bigelow at SummerSlam. Savage believes that Bigelow is “weak” and is “unable to beat guys straight up” in reference to Bigelow having to use a fireball at WrestleMania. Savage continues to talk about Bigelow until he is attacked from behind by Bigelow! Bigelow rams Savage head first into the announcers table and shoulder first into ring post! McMahon gets up from his seat and tries to hold Bigelow back but Bigelow shoves McMahon to the ground! Bigelow screams that he is the BEAST FROM THE EAST and is not weak! So, Bigelow shows this by diving off the apron onto Savage with a head butt! Bigelow knocks down several security guys until he is held back by several heels from the back and brought to the backstage area! 6. Jeff Jarrett defeated Duane Gill in 2:08 following a jumping DDT. He believes that when everything is fair and square they will keep their WWF World Tag Team Championships and continue to dominate the tag team division here in the WWF! 3. The Kamikaze Kid/Marty Jannetty defeated Mike Sharpe/Barry Hardy in 3:16 when Kid pinned Hardy following a top rope moonsault. 4. Luger reminds Gene that he has accomplished everything he said he was going to do because he is just that good. Luger says that he beat Mr. Perfect back at WrestleMania and at the King of the Ring. Luger believes that Perfect will fail at his quest of redemption because he is younger, faster and stronger than Ric Flair. WWF RAW: Monday 27th September 1993...The Undertaker beating Barry Horowitz was an easy main event, the Undertaker appearance alone would have drawn in viewers. Bret Hart's interview was quite good, bringing in his financial problems. I can't understand how he's talking about these problems whilst not wrestling. Surely if he had financial problems, he'd wrestle more to try and get the money flowing still. Irwin R. Schyster beating Virgil is acceptable, no problem there. The Quebecers debuting Johnny Polo is for the best, he has more charisma than both Jacques and Pierre combined. Bam Bam Bigelow attacking Randy Savage from behind was an interesting one, not so sure what we can expect from this. I can imagine Bigelow will win though; thing is, they're both coming off of losing feuds with Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker, and both men could really use a win in this rivalry. It's quite awkward if anything. Jeff Jarrett with a win is good, like Jarrett cutting Duane Gill's hair, but did he even have hair around this time. Razor Ramon beating Rick Martel was obvious, great main event with failed assistance from the WWF Intercontinental Champion, Shawn Michaels. Overall, quite a solid show.
WWF Superstars of Wrestling: Saturday 2nd October 1993...Ted Dibiase with a win is acceptable. The Steiner Brothers' interview was fine, will we get any in ring action from the Steiners of the Quebecers this week? The Kamikaze Kid and Marty Jannetty: nice combination here. Good win for them, they could get pretty over if given the chance. Perhaps the 'New Rockers' name comes in to play? Because that's the first thing that would come to mind if fans saw Jannetty and another young high flyer. Lex Luger's promo was good, promoting Saturday Night's Main Event. Try and keep Luger and Mr Perfect out of the ring with each other en route to the WWF Championship match. Owen Hart with the win is fine also. Jack Tunney's announcement was pretty interesting. Wonder what this entails. Ludvig Borga and Yokozuna with a win against the Smoking Gunns is a fine main event. Overall, quite a decent episode.
WWF Wrestling Challenge: Sunday 3rd October 1993...Jerry Lawler had a good win there. Tatanka's comments were nice, wonder if that match will be on RAW or at Saturday Night's Main Event. I'd say it's more of a RAW match myself. Earthquake's interview put him over, talking about squashing the Undertaker. Jim Neidhart and Diesel with wins was expected. More promotion for Chris Benoit, not looking so bad. I'm just curious what his gimmick will compose of. Ron Simmons and Crush beating the Headshrinkers...what a shame. I still hope the Headshrinkers get close to the WWF Tag Team Championships. I see why Simmons and Crush won, but the Headshrinkers are oh so better. Overall, not a lot happened on this show, but it was an enjoyable week.

Neidhart got scissors out of his boot and cut of a junk of Beverly’s blonde hair to show Jarrett his fate on October 23rd! 2. Kings Court w/Jerry Lawler: This week Jerry Lawler didn’t have a guest and instead spent the segment insulting Tatanka and Chief Jay Strongbow. Lawler talks about how the fans are supporting someone who hasn’t won a match in months but they boo royalty! Lawler decides to insult the fans intelligence as they chant Burger King. Lawler taunts the fan and Tatanka by saying that Strongbow “sure does know how to take a punch.” which was in reference to Lawler hitting Strongbow on Kings Court a few weeks prior. Lawler says next week on RAW Tatanka will be kicked out of the his tribe and will be the laughing stock of the World Wrestling Federation when he gets through with him! 3. Hart gets emotional saying that there are far too many family memories in the house to just let them go away. He is going to fight his way back to the top and regain the WWF World Championship so his family can be happy once again. 7. WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels/Diesel/Rick Martel defeated Razor Ramon/Marty Jannetty/the Kamikaze Kid in 13:32 when Michaels pinned Ramon after Diesel power bombed Ramon behind the referees back. The focus of the video is Luger’s physique and power as we get various clips of Luger posing and destroying people. The narrator of the video says “who can prove Lex Luger wrong? Lex Luger is the most dominate, powerful champion the WWF has seen in several years and by the looks of things he could reign as the champion for a long, long time!” 3. Yokozuna/Ludvig Borga defeated Barry Horowitz/Russ Greenberg in 2:03 when Yoko hit a double Bonsai Drop. 4. Randy Savage Interview: Vince McMahon conducted an interview with Randy Savage. Before the interview, footage of Bam-Bam Bigelow attacking Savage and tossing McMahon to the floor is aired. Savage checks on McMahon’s condition who says he is fine after a weeks rest. Savage talks about his recent losing to the younger talent like Ramon, Michaels and Bret Hart. Savage isn’t going to be bullied around by a big bully like Bigelow tries to be. “You want to attack me from behind, brother? Well, get ready for a fight because you have awaken the dark side of the Macho Man! OH YEAH!” 5. Jeff Jarrett defeated Jason Donald in 3:32 following a jumping DDT. 6. These two men well known in the South and have been involved in some of the bloodiest matches ever, showing him that they will do whatever it takes to win a match. Steiner Brothers Interview: Jim Ross conducted an interview with the WWF World Tag Team Champions. Ross asks their opinions on having two tag teams now gunning for their championships in the Quebecers and the Heavenly Bodies. Scott tells Ross that it isn’t a surprise whatsoever because when you are a champion, everyone wants to be the team who takes the titles. They have worked too hard to allow some punk team whether it be the Quebecers or the newly debuted Heavenly Bodies to win the tag titles. Rick Steiner chimes in and says that they are always ready for a fight and what any challengers to bring it on! 5. Jeff Jarrett defeated Steven Cardinal in 2:14 following a jumping DDT. WWF RAW: Monday 4th October 1993...Jim Neidhart beating Blake Beverly is a pretty obvious decision. The Beverly Brothers don't interest me too much if I'm honest. Liked Neidhart cutting Beverly's hair. Jerry Lawler not having a guest for the King's Court definitely boosts his ego, liked his insults to Tatanka and Chief Jay Strongbow especially. Doink the Clown with a win of course is fine. He's not doin much lately. Mr Perfect's promo was quite basic, but got the job done. Lex Luger's retaining the WWF Championship though. The Smoking Gunns with a win is good, it's about time they sink their teeth into a feud in my mind. More focus on the Hart Family is good, financial difficulties is good. Like I said last week, get him involved in some matches trying to EARN money. Shawn Michaels, Rick Martel and Diesel is quite the combination. Great win against Razor Ramon, the Kamikaze Kid and Marty Jannetty, shame that Razor took the win out of the three opponents. Razor definitely needs repaying for this, massive push perhaps? Now Shawn has a win against Ramon, Razor needs the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Decent RAW.
WWF Superstars of Wrestling: Saturday 9th October 1993...Bret Hart with a win is good, at last he wrestle to earn the Hart Family money. Lex Luger's hype video did the job fine. Yokozuna and Ludvig Borga's win is pretty obvious. Wonder when they'll get to do some more interesting stuff. Randy Savage's interview was good, liked his promo on Bam Bam Bigelow. The dark side of Savage? For some reason it reminds me of Hulk Hogan's dark side in late 1995 against the Dungeon of Doom. Jeff Jarrett's win is fine. Scott Steiner beating Jacques is fine, cool main event to showcase the tag team feud they're going to be moving into. Overall, not a bad show, just nothing that important going on.
WWF Wrestling Challenge: Sunday 10th October 1993...Bam Bam Bigelow with an easy win is a wise opening contest. Chief Jay Strongbow will help Tatanka on the microphone, good promo with Tatanka and Strongbow, looking forward to Tatanka proving Jerry Lawler wrong on RAW tomorrow night. The Undertaker's win was obvious, nice promo from Earthquake as well. I expect this feud to end at the Survivor Series. Jim Cornette's interview was good, debuting the Heavenly Bodies? Interesting call. I could see a WWF Tag Team Championship reign for them in 1994. Just so we have the WWF equivelent of the Midnight Express. Ted Dibiase and Crush with wins is fine, where is Fatu and Ron Simmons this week? Nothing special week overall.
WWF RAW: Monday 11th October 1993...Earthquake's win was a good opening blast to RAW this week. Irwin R. Schyster on hiatus? Odd. I never heard about it before this. Ted Dibiase's promo really did set up Saturday Night's Main Event in two weeks. Owen Hart's win was acceptable. Ron Simmons and Crush's promo would have been intriguing. I suspect we'll get Simmons and Crush facing Yokozuna and Ludvig Borga at Saturday Night's Main Event. The Heavenly Bodies' debut win was a good showcase, nothing special but did just the job. Mr Pefect's hype video was just to advance his match with Lex Luger. I note how it's always Perfect that gets time on RAW whilst WWF Champion Luger gets time only on Superstars of Wrestling. Strange. Tatanka with the win against Jerry Lawler was obvious, great main event, a pretty decent show I'd say.
WWF Superstars of Wrestling: Saturday 16th October 1993...Bam Bam Bigelow with another win was good, but isn't proving a lot to Randy Savage. You should give Bigelow a match against an uprising star, just to prove that he can match it with Savage in the ring. Lex Luger with another hype video...okay. Once against on Superstars I see. Mix Luger and Perfect's promos on RAW and Superstars up a little more. Bret Hart with a win is cool, liked his clippit promo as well. The Steiner Brothers' interview was good, like their fighting champions status against every other team in the WWF Tag Team Championship scene. Jeff Jarrett with a win is fine, more hair trimming to hype his match with Jim Neidhart. If this is the case, the repetition of Neidhart and Jarrett just cutting each others hair, you should have announced the Hair match sooner to Saturday Night's Main Event. I knew I didn't see a Chris Benoit promo last week. Good promotion, looking forward to how he debuts, liked the involvement of NJPW clips, but I'm not sure if they would show them from New Japan at this time. Razor Ramon beating Diesel is a big main event, great match despite Shawn Michaels' attack. All of this buildup of Diesel and Shawn destroying Ramon will easily set up a WWF Intercontinental Championship win at Saturday Night's Main Event. That or you're burying Ramon. A decent show.
WWF Wrestling Challenge: Sunday 17th October 1993...Marty Jannetty with a win is cool. Shawn Michaels' interview was good. It's just more bragging from the cocky WWF Intercontinental Champion before Razor Ramon wins the title next Saturday. The Quebecers with a win is fine. The Undertaker's promo was well done, talking about destroying Earthquake. Do something special with this feud. Randy Savage defeated...David Richards!? Hahah. Ludvig Borga beating Crush would have been an intriguing main event, quite a good match, liked Yokozuna and Borga's domination. Overall, quite the show. And a pretty decent week of television I thought.

Razor Ramon Interview: Jim Ross conducted an interview with Razor Ramon. Ross mentions how next week here on Superstars, the Canadian Crippler Chris Benoit will be making his debut and he has heard that Doink the Clown has signed the contract to meet Benoit in his first match in the WWF! Doink says that he has sign the contract because he wants to treat Benoit like his personal balloon animal. He is going to tie Benoit into a pretzel and ruin his debut in the WWF. Doink finishes off the promo by squirting water out of a flower into Ross’s eye and rolls around on the floor laughing. 3. The Undertaker defeated Jim Powers in 2:16 following a tombstone. 4. Smoking Gunns/Heavenly Bodies Confrontation: Vince McMahon tried to conduct an interview with the Smoking Gunns but before they could really discuss anything, Jim Cornette and the Heavenly Bodies made their way out. Cornette tells McMahon that he has been told by WWF officials that in order for the Heavenly Bodies to get a WWF World Tag Team Championship match they have to defeat some inferior tag teams. McMahon doesn’t believe the tag teams are inferior to Heavenly Bodies, but Cornette assures him that they are. Cornette says that the Heavenly Bodies are here to prove to the world that they are the best tag team in the world and they are going to start by taking out “these two silly looking cowboys.” As soon as he gets done saying that, Jimmy Del Ray and Tom Pritchard attack Billy and Bart Gunn until security comes out to break up the attack. Cornette is over heard saying that this is just the beginning! 5. Ted DiBiase defeated Joey Maggs in 3:06 with the Million Dollar Dream. 6. SNME Hype Video: Todd Pettengill narrates a video promoting the card for SNME later on in the day. Also scheduled is two surprises. First, Vince McMahon announced a few weeks ago that a special guest will appear on the program and Ted DiBiase has something huge in store for a certain WWF Superstar! Tune into WWF Saturday Night’s Main Event to find out what happens! 7. Bret Hart/Tatanka defeated Rick Martel/Jerry Lawler in 10:29 when Bret forced Martel to tap out to the Sharpshooter. During the bout , Tatanka brawled with Lawler throughout the crowd leaving Martel and Hart to battle in the ring.

Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan welcomes everyone to the thirty fifth installment of Saturday Nights Main Event. They hype up the WWF World Championship, which will be the opening contest for the show. Heenan says that Perfect quest for redemption will be stopped tonight. He mentions how Luger has defeated him two other times first at Mania and again at King of the Ring. Tonight will be no different when the greatest WWF World Champion comes out on top. McMahon sends it over to the Fink to introduce the championship match.
Opening Contest: Mr. Perfect defeated WWF World Champion Lex Luger by disqualification: Perfect goes right after Luger as soon as the bell rings delivering several right hands. Perfect backdrops Luger after he comes off the ropes and follows up with a rolling neck snap for a quick two count. Perfect charges towards a corner but Luger gets both boots up and nails Perfect with a series of running clotheslines. Luger taunts the fans while Perfect tries to quickly recover in the corner. Luger turns around and is met with a running cross body block by Perfect who delivers several right hands as well. Perfect continues his attack with a backbreaker and drives his knees into Luger’s back several times. Perfect pulls Luger up to connect with a back suplex with a bridge for a two count. Perfect nails Luger with a running knee lift sending Luger chest first into a corner. Perfect looks for a splash in the corner but Luger moves and Perfect hits the exposed turnbuckle chest first! It appears that Luger had removed the turnbuckle pad! Luger rams Perfect head first into the exposed turnbuckle several times disregarding the referee’s warnings and is disqualified. (6:05, *½) After the match, Luger grabs his WWF World Championship and looks to hit a bloody Perfect with the championship but the referee yanks the championship away and runs out of the ring preventing further attack. Luger slides to the floor to get his championship back and is prevented from returning to the ring. A bloody, furious Perfect is left in the ring.
Backstage, Todd Pettengill interviews Jim Neidhart. Neidhart tells Pettengill that tonight is the night he has been waiting for ever since he was embarrassed by Double J when he trimmed his trademark beard. Neidhart is going to let all of his aggression out tonight on Jarrett’s face and cut off his precious golden locks tonight!
Backstage, Mean Gene interviews Jeff Jarrrett, who has Neidhart’s trimmed beard hair in a plastic bag. Jarrett says that tonight he is adding to his little baggy with more of Neidhart’s hair. Jarrett finishes off saying that his hair is going to stay intact but Neidhart will look like a hideous oaf later tonight!
Second Contest: Jeff Jarrett defeated Jim Neidhart in a hair vs. hair match: Neidhart gets the early advantage with a series of right hands and clotheslines Jarrett after he comes off the ropes. Neidhart ducks a clothesline and takes Jarrett over with a belly to belly suplex for a two count. Neidhart follows up with a Samoan Drop but Jarrett rolls to the floor. Neidhart comes off the ropes and baseball slides Jarrett chest first into the guard railing. Neidhart follows Jarrett to the floor and drops Jarrett chest first across the guard railing. Neidhart ends up crotching Jarrett on the railing and clotheslines Jarrett off to the floor. Neidhart rolls Jarrett back in and goes to step through the middle rope but Jarrett gets up and manages to kick the middle rope effectively low blowing Neidhart. Jarrett comes off the ropes to deliver a swinging neck breaker but only gets a two count on a cover attempt. Neidhart gets out of a sleeper hold with a jaw breaker and scoop slams Jarrett. Neidhart lifts Jarrett up to deliver a delayed vertical suplex but Jarrett kicks out at two. Neidhart tosses Jarrett into a corner and nails Jarrett with a running clothesline in the corner. Jarrett stumbles out of the corner and is press slammed by Neidhart for a two count as Jarrett manages to get his foot on the bottom rope. Neidhart attempts another military press slam but Jarrett rakes his eyes and plants Neidhart with a double under hook lifting face buster but Neidhart powers out at two. Jarrett comes off the ropes but is stopped by Neidhart who looks for a spine buster but Jarrett is able to counter the move with a double arm DDT! Jarrett quickly covers Neidhart and manages to pick up the three as Neidhart kicked out, but not in time! (8:47, **¼) After the match, Neidhart goes after Jarrett until Rick Martel and Doink the Clown run down to the ring to help their friend. Martel put a sleeper on Neidhart and put Neidhart to sleep. Doink held Neidhart while Martel knocked Owen Hart off the apron as he tried to make the save. Martel ended up tossing Owen into the ring steps before returning to hold Neidhart while Jarrett buzzed Neidhart’s hair off! Jarrett puts the hair in his bag and taunts the fans before leaving extremely proud of himself.
Backstage, Mean Gene interviews the WWF World Champion Lex Luger but before he can get anything answered, Mr. Perfect spears Luger to the floor and hits Luger with a flurry of right hands. Perfect is pulled off of Luger by several officials and wrestlers allowing Luger to get to his feet and run away.
Vince McMahon stands up with a microphone and announces to the crowd that it is time to reveal the surprise he had talked about several weeks ago on RAW. McMahon says that tonight we are going to get a sneak preview to a special film that starred the greatest WWF World Champion and a hero for all WWF fans… Hulk Hogan! A two minute video of Hogan’s new movie, Mr. Nanny is promoted and after the video, Hogan appears via satellite which gets a pretty good reception from the fans! McMahon gives Hogan sometime to promote Mr. Nanny, which Hogan says he is proud of and hopes that his Hulkamaniacs will go out and see the Hulkster in a way they have never seen him before! McMahon manages to get a wrestling question in regarding a possible return to the ring and Hogan simply says “never say never” to close out the interview.
Third Contest: Yokozuna/Ludvig Borga defeated Ron Simmons/Crush: Before the bell, all four men have a stare down in the ring until Crush backs away and gives a thumbs up to Yoko and Borga before delivering a big boot to the back of Simmons head! Crush puts the Kona Vice on Simmons while Cornette looks on surprised to see what Crush is doing. Simmons tries to battle out of the hold but the hold was too strong. Crush forces Simmons to pass out to the hold and fist pumps Borga and Yoko before leaving the ring with trash being tossed at him. Borga drags Simmons to a corner and Yoko hit’s the Bonsai Drop to win the match once the bell is rung. (0:30. NR) After the match, Yoko and Borga celebrate while Crush stands at the top of the aisle way saluting his new partners and Simmons is left laying in the corner.
After a commercial break, Mean Gene is standing in the ring to introduce the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, who has a huge surprise for a certain WWF superstar. DiBiase enters the ring and is in a very joyful mood which leads Gene to ask why DiBiase is so proud and happy. DiBiase tells Gene that the surprise he has to reveal tonight is surely going to get him the proper attention and main event status that he so rightfully deserves. Gene wants to know what DiBiase is talking about, but DiBiase decides to not tell Gene but to rather show a video of what he is talking about. The video begins with DiBiase sitting in his luxurious limousine sipping on some champagne as he says he is in a celebrating kind of mood. DiBiase tells us that he has housing in several countries but one… Canada. DiBiase’s limo stops and DiBiase steps out and lets out a laugh as he stares out at what he has apparently bought. The camera turns around and it reveals that DiBiase has bought the Hart House! DiBiase turns around to the camera and the video ends when he says “welcome to my Canadian home!” Back to the arena, DiBiase is laughing uncontrollably while the fans jeer loudly. Gene asks DiBiase what he is doing and DiBiase regains composure saying that he is going to make his last singles run memorable and what better way to make it memorable then to buy the Hart House?! DiBiase finishes off saying “Gene, everyone has a price for the Million Dollar Man and I always, ALWAYS get my way!”
Main Event: Razor Ramon defeated WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels to win the title: Ramon backs Michaels into a corner but Michaels pokes him in the eye after a clean break. Earthquake tells us that the Undertaker will be unable to lift him up due to his size. Earthquake tells Bearer that unlike Bigelow, he will crush the Undertaker and bury him once and for all.
