I hope you realize that Christian has won the NWA World Title twice, which is just as prestigeous as the WWE Title, if not more. Half of Ric Flair's title reigns as with the NWA World Title. I still have hope that Christian will one day win the World Title or WWE Title. He still wrestles better than 95% of the WWE roster and is one of the best currently on the mic. When he comes back he'll probably feud w/ Alberto Del Rio, and that will hopefully(one can hope) jump start a major push for him. If Kane can win the world title in his 40s after years of jobbing, I have hope that Christian will eventually get it. WAS...... not is.

To be honest, Wrestlemania doesnt look too good right now . . . . but Taker will have to be there, no doubt about it, also i think they will get Jericho back around the Rumble. They will also get Goldberg in the HOF and have him in a match. Therefore here is the card:
8) Streak on the Line John Cena vs The Undertaker Note: I think this is the big money match that has to happen either this year or next year.
7) WWE Championship - No Holds Barred Triple H vs Sheamus(c) Note: I think Sheamus wins the title at Elimination Chamber. Triple H will want to be in a main event title feud upon his return, and it makes perfect storyline sense to be with Sheamus.
6) World Heavyweight Title Edge(c) vs Christian
5) Randy Orton vs Chris Jericho
4) Goldberg vs Wade Barrett (w/Nexus)
3) Divas Match
2) Money in the Bank Ladder Match Rey Mysterio vs Kofi Kingston vs John Morrison vs Alberto Del Rio vs Dolph Ziggler vs Evan Bourne vs Kane vs Big Show vs The Miz vs Jack Swagger
1) U.S Title Daniel Bryan(c) vs CM Punk

I agree that it has lost some presteige, but so has the WWE Title. Constantly switching champion every 3 weeks to 2 months has killed it's credibility. The NWA Title is still just as presteigious as the WWE Title.

Christian is not a big money maker and he isn't a big draw. So why put him in the main event of WrestleMania for the sake of facing Edge? They could have a decent feud without the World Title involved and have a nice match on the undercard. I don't know how anybody can predict a WrestleMania card right now because we haven't had ANY build towards it just yet. Basing matches on current feuds is stupid.

All I'm saying is that if you asked the everyday person to name some WWE Champions and then some NWA Champions..... they'd be stumped on the latter.

wrestlemania 28 is the right time for edge vs christian. it would be in Toronto and imagine the crowd when christian wins his first world title. plus it will make the match alot better

Christian should have won the title before he left for TNA. The reaction he was getting from the crowd against Cena was amazing.
Anyways, Morrison will win the Rumble and face Miz.
WWE won't care about the title picture much as Cena/Taker or HHH/Taker will main event so they can do whatever they want with the title picture.

Just because more people know about the WWE Title doesn't mean that it's more prestigious. The WWE Title is on TV every week, but the constant title changes and uncredible champions has ruined the titles legacy IMO.

Here's how I would book it from what im seeing at the moment: WWE Title Match Edge v Alberto Del Rio John Cena v Randy Orton (I got stuck with these 2, perhaps a twist in the storyline that links Orton being behind the Nexus all along, not too sure ) World Heavyweight Title Match The Miz v John Morrison Unsanctioned Street Fight (Just to give it a bit more of an edge, No Holds Barred isn't exciting anymore) HHH v Sheamus The Undertaker v Wade Barrett (Let us not forget Nexus buried Taker. There is no logic throwing Cena into the mix as he had nothing to do with it, as much as we would love to see him v Taker. Also a perfect way to propel Barrett, a WM match with Undertaker) United States Title Daniel Bryan v CM Punk Divas Title Natalya v Beth Phoenix Money In The Bank Kofi Kingston v Jack Swagger v Ted Dibiase v Cody Rhodes v Big Show v Drew McIntyre v Evan Bourne v Rey Mysterio

You know, I gotta be honest...I wanted to flame the OP but after thinking about it, his card isn't all that bad.
World Heavyweight Championship Edge vs Christian
Christian hopefully will be healthy and ready to return by the Royal Rumble, and I feel like 2011 could be the year a upper mid carder could win it to finally break through. Christian would be the perfect fit. If not him, than Morrison
WWE Championship John Cena vs Randy Orton vs The Miz vs Wade Barrett
Assuming all these 4 will still be feuding, this could be an amazing match. Miz & Cena can cover Barrett's green-ness and Orton's chinlocks. While telling a great story.
The Undertaker vs Kane
If not, replace Kane with Barrett and make the WWE title a 3 way.
Rey Mysterio vs Alberto Del Rio
Feud continues for awhile, these 2 could have some great matches. This would be nice card filler and get these 2 their deserved WM paychecks.
5 on 5 Tag Team Match-Nexus vs WWE Justin Gabriel, Husky Harris, Heath Slater, Michael McGillicutty & David Otunga vs John Morrison, R-Truth, Ezekiel Jackson, Big Show & Chris Masters
I like the idea...maybe this would be the final sendoff of Nexus. If they win they stay, if they lose they are out. Those 5 "WWE" guys would be the logical choice.
Sheamus vs Triple H
I'm looking forward to their feud. They had a great match at Wrestlemania 26. This would be HHH's final revenge match.
US Title Daniel Bryan vs CM Punk
Obviously we all just want to see this. These 2 could feud for a year and I wouldn't tire of it at all. This has show stealing potential
MITB Ladder Match Tyson Kidd vs Dolph Ziggler vs Cody Rhodes vs Kaval vs Kofi Kingston vs Jack Swagger vs Drew McIntyre vs David Hart Smith
I wish they would cut MITB back down to 6...but keeping it at 8, these would be the best choices for that match.
Unified Tag Titles Bret & Ted Dibiase Jr w/Ted Dibiase Sr vs Santino/Kozlov[/quote]
This is the only one I don't care for. I don't see them bringing Bret up any time soon. So this doesn't fit anywhere. I don't see the Tag Titles getting any Wrestlemania time anyway.
For real though, this card isn't all that bad. The matches would be damn entertaining and the stories behind them all fit with the current direction. However we all need to wait until after Royal Rumble to really get a good idea of what the WM card is going to look like

Edge vs Christian at WM for the World Title is a dream match of mine. Sadly, Vince will never let it happen even though it is a huge money maker. It would be a great match but let's be honest, it wouldn't be a huge draw.

If they booked it right, those 2 have the ability in and outside the ring to bring a lot of hype.... but I don't think the WWE Creative Team would book it right.
