Sophomore prom- Grey tuxedo (ugly as sh*t). Junior prom- White tuxedo with tails (uglier as sh*t). In both cases, the girl I went with was my girlfriend, but broke up with me a week before each prom. I have pictures, but I'll be damned if I'm going to post them. It was 1987 & 1988. Very scary & ugly times for clothes, kids. I really want to see the white tux. Come on man.  Well.....if I can find the damn pictures, I will. |

I wore a pretty standard suit to my junior prom. My girlfriend at the time had her dress made, and for what ever reason, kept the color a secret from me until two weeks before, then made me get a matching tie - purple.
My senior year I went with the standard issue, $80 rent-a-tux. Went with the same girl, but as "friends" as she had decided to cut off our relationship before heading to college. This led me to not bother getting all fancy at all, ending with an awesome picture I still have somewhere with my hair down to my nose, a clear lack of a fresh shave, looking mighty fat and mighty sassy.

I didn't go to my prom since none of my friends went either since none of us were into that kinda crap but if i would have i prob. woulda wore regular black.

 I think I had the same tailor as Pee Wee Herman. Last I heard, the girl I went with is a Druid and married a tree. I wish I was making that up. She was nuttier than squirrel sh*t, but very cute.  This tuxedo reminds me of a circus ringmaster's Sunday suit. If it only came with a top hat & cane! The girl in this picture had a daughter 1 year before this, and she never told me. Sweet girl, though. |

A regular black tux with a silver tie.
Or wait was my tie blue?
I think it might have been to match my date's dress.
