it should've been punisher: war journal and actually had frank speaking as if he's reading his entries. would've given it the comic feel, and allowed the frank character to open up to the audience while still being dark and secluded from social interaction with others.

Oh my god, the ones I mentioned had different distributors?! Oh I am so wrong then. My apologies. They were co-productions, but were still produced by Marvel Studios. Distribution has nothing to do with it. And you're trying to make a point with 3 movies? Big deal. Three movies is nothing. And one of them was Incredible Hulk, which didn't do well. Fail. no dude...you fail. these last few movies have been created directly by marvel, resulting in more comic oriented and 'true to the story' movies. they're all based basically on the ultimate series. those other movies creative rights were owned by the studios, so the characters were there's to with...which is why all those movies are such utter trash. Okay, wait. Which movies are we talking about here because you confused me with that post. haha

Sadly, the Spider-Man reboot is still under Sony. Just like Wolverine & X-Men: First Class are still with Fox. More good news is that Punisher is back under Marvel's rights.

Anyone who didn't enjoy Punisher: War Zone missed the point of the movie. If you want something that takes a look at the deep emotional state of Frank Castle, watch the Thomas Jane flick. ...what? the thomas jane flick doesn't even touch on the actual character of frank castle. hell, war zone is more accurate than it in that manner. that's great that you liked it as a b rated no bullcrap action flick, but i don't appreciate my favourite comic (anti) hero of 7 years to be whored and repackaged to appeal to you. we already got that from the 1990 punisher movie, and guess what, it wasn't very good either.
