I guess I'm in the minority that feel it isn't really funny.
But I rarely watch SNL.
I did like some of their other songs though but I was never a big fan like some.

Flight of the Conchords have been doing this schtick way before Lonely Island and their material is actually funny. I really don't get how these guys have become popular through this medium? Don't get me wrong, I've seen their original show pilot thing and thought it was brilliant, I just don't get why people adore this pop parody stuff? |

Not gonna lie, I think that song would have been pretty average without Akon's over the top singing on the chorus. I love a lot of what Lonely Island does, but this song is somewhat weak in comparison. Still looking forward to the rest of the new stuff though.
