That was in my opinion, the greatest Royal Rumble ever. That Match had absolutely everything a Rumble Match should have. It wasn't the usual typical Rumble where it would be a random mess of people just eliminating each other only for it to get good until the Final Four. This Rumble Match was booked to perfection. From the very first minute there was Story after Story after Story being told, and I was hooked the whole way through.
The way they gave the win to Alberto Del Rio, nobody ever saw it coming. Then even after he won, they still kept it going, with Santino coming out of no where. Man what a Royal Rumble. The two Returns of Diesel and Booker T, to the beautiful Nexus Plan with Punk, to Cena not winning it, to the first 6/7 Entrants in the Ring together (Punk, Bryan, Regal, Ryder etc). Has to be the best ever.

Loved that Rumble, one of my favourites and the length only helped that. Only downsides where Punk not going till the end and Gabriels short time, also feel Bryan and Morrison should have been in slightly longer. I wish Punk beat Mysterios record as to me Punk is that sort of wrestler to do it and I dont like Mysterio holding that record. 2 Title matches where very good and entertaining for once, booked well and kept me entertained, usually I dont mind missing bits to get a snack or something but I they kept me hooked. Loved the booking of the Rumble with the 2 factions going to war (shame it didnt continue on in the Rumble) and the first participants was booked well, Ryder looked half decent and Regal got better time than I was expecting. Diesl and Booker T looked great and the pop Diesel got was insane, loved the crowd, need to get some of them in for Wrestlemania. Del Rio winning was class, from his entrance to the way Rodriguez bounced about (twice) was fantastic and the fake finish was brilliant and I did think Santino had a strange chance of a surprise win when he went under the bottom rope and the emotional COBRA was fantastic, I loved it all. I'm torn between Cena and Orton being in the main event as it does seem Cena and Miz will have a rivalry as well as Orton being involed and Punk which would make a great fatal four way. On the other hand I dont want Orton and Cena to be in a title match, I wouldnt mind the 1 on 1 as long as it doesnt main event but then theres not many other people who can main event for the title then. Interesting to see who Del Rio will face, could be a big shocker as well. Royal Rumble #1, Del Rio #1, hahahahah. (anyone guess the link to a wrestlemania?) (also posted in Rumble thread) Im glad my phone call to sky seemed to work, well worth it but it wont record so im gunna have to plan to watch it when i have time and when its showing from the start. One of best PPV's in years.

I'd give that Rumble a solid 8/10, very satisfied with it tbh.
Positives... Alberto Del Rio winning, that goes down as the biggest shock in WWE history imo. The insane crowd, I loved the way they went mad for Regal, Diesel, Miz etc. John Cena's exit, ever since he raped the Nexus I was 100% sure he'd won, so for the Miz to come out and save the people from yet another crappy WM main event was legendary. John Morrison's Parkour, whoever came up with that (probably him) is a freaking genius. Daniel Bryan's reign of epicness, he stood out as a real threat at the start. ...and finally, Santino's shock finale, I can't believe my self for even thinking Santino would win. Bravo WWE writing team.
Negatives... Booker T's crappy return, sure he had the scissor kick and spinarooney, but he elimanated none of the Nexus members and soon after Cena elimanated... you guessed it, them all. Dolph Ziggler not winning the big one and being elimanated instanly.

I decided to not be a gay and pulled an all nighter, really glad I did but i was good for nothing at work.
Loved the Dolph vs Edge match, and am intriged by the Unprettier at the end
Thought the rumble match was solid and entertaing throughout, although I wish that Booker & Nash had been kept as surprises.
I'd have jizzed my pants if Santino won at the end, id completely forgotten about him
