I still don't get how we never got a Ricky Steamboat. He's employed by WWE and was one of the most requested figures right next to Macho Man and Owen Hart. And then to add even more oddness to the situation, Mattel puts him in Legends series 1!

The Road Warriors in their NWA attire was also highly requested and they turned up in series 1 too.......

Someone I am surprised that got a figure made was Kevin Sullivan. I never would have thought that he would have even been considered. As far as I can remember, he is one of those that never was in the WWF/E. Can anyone name some of the other CS figures of people who were never actually a part of the WWF/E? Some of the ones I am thinking never were: Tank Abbott Abdullah The Butcher Kevin Sullivan .........anymore? - Sabu (at the point his CS figure was released) - Rock 'n' Roll Express (save a Survivor Series match in 1993) - Midnight Express - Shockmaster (gimmick) I'm sure there are others. Wasn't Sabu part of the original ECW invasion on Raw and RNR Express part of the NWA invasion? I could be wrong though.

Yes Sabu was a part of ECW's "invasions" but that only totals wo matches on WWF TV at the time. I forgot about the NWA Invasion in 1998 and i cannot remember how much exposure the RNR got to be honest. I noticed a few posts above mine regarding Steamboat. I would've bet the house a two years ago Steamboat would have a CS figure shortly after WWE's announcement of Steamboat's HOF induction AND his WrestleMania 25 match against Jericho. I HOPED and HOPED with every new or revised CS line-up, his name would be there or even as a RSC exclusive. Sadly, nothing. How Mattel was able to make him in the first Legfends line-up is somethign I'd be interested in learning about.

Lita! Pre-Order and then canceled... FML! I'm surprised Lita was released earlier or even in a 3-pack with Matt & Jeff. I was looking forward to her CS 23 figure and was pissed too to find out it was canceled.

I think they were really close to being able to get one out. Then their time ran out. Which explains how quickly Mattel got a figure of him out.

It was said it takers roughly 6 months for new face to go from being on paper to final produce. I thought if Jakks had started around March - April, he make it to one of the last CS sets or even a CS exclusive for RSC. Depressing really as I spend almost 9 months waiting to see news for a CS Steamboat. Well, we all know what happened.

Hercules and Dino Bravo were at a lot of Wrestlemanias and never had figs. Maybe their being dead made it tougher for Jakks to get deals with their families/estates?

a.p.a in cstt series. i know we got ron simmons but gosh darnit i'd a killied for an apa version ! I hated the fact their CS 28 figures were scraped. I hoped they were going to be given a spot in CSTT 13, the last 2-pack set. Hercules and Dino Bravo were at a lot of Wrestlemanias and never had figs. Maybe their being dead made it tougher for Jakks to get deals with their families/estates? For the love of everythign Holy, I don't know why these two weren't in the first year or two of CS releases. Neither had Hasbro figures and I cannot remember if either had LJN figures. No they were not major players in the WWF, but they were solid mid-carders, whom were deserving of CS figures.
