I know they are starting to hit, has anyone been able to confirm if the 1/1000 belts are continuing?

Nothing yet, I hope Mattel continues them. They said there will be a belt for every wrestlers first basic figure release. They didnt give an estimate of when to stop looking for them.

It was a 2010 promotion. There are no more 1/1000 belts on series 8 and beyond.

a little sad, and a little happy. i've bought at least 5 figs i wouldn't have simply because they were 1/1000s. they look nice moc, but it'll be nice to not have to look for 'em.
on the flipside, i really hope the PPV 1/1000 chase chairs continue. i think it's a good way to get the collectors to anticipate re-releases of popular guys that MOST collectors seem to hate (Cena, Mysterio etc.) -- i'm not a total completionist, but i will look forward to getting one of each chair.

I didn't really care all that much for the belts, but it was a little more exciting to possibly find them. Those 1/1000 chairs are just plain stupid.

It was a 2010 promotion. There are no more 1/1000 belts on series 8 and beyond. If that is the case I can quit looking for them and just concentrate on Elites and Legends.

That pisses me off greatly. I loved collecting the 1/1000s. I need to try to get each one loose now.

If they were going to have it only in 2010 they should have made one for everyone on the ing roster instead of putting out Cena, Undertaker, Mysterio in every friggin series. Hell if they are gonna stop the belts that should put money back in the budget to bring the stands back.

True, its just dumb. I see a major decrease in sales but a major increase of value of them. Good thing I have nearly 100 of them.

I don't understand y they are getting rid of them but can't keep the stands. I would think it cost a lot to make those belts since they were metal.

It was a 2010 promotion. There are no more 1/1000 belts on series 8 and beyond. Where did you hear this info because ive never heard it reported that they are stopping. They stated that they were doing 1/1000 belts for every first solo basic release for every wrestler and never said it was strictly a 2010 promotion. So until i hear complete confirmation from mattel im to believe they will still continue. If they don't it kind of sucks as i liked the belts quite a bit.

It was a 2010 promotion. There are no more 1/1000 belts on series 8 and beyond. That kinda sucks, I was hoping every debut figure would get the 1/1000 belts. I know MicroDiva won't be happy about this too, she wanted a complete 1/1000 set of all the Divas. Series 8 should've still gotten them since they were out in 2010 but I guess I won't need to hunt down that 1/1000 Maryse anymore then.

They never said it was stopping, but they implied it in corporate double-talk. They talked about it in a postive way rather than a negative way, but they definitely stressed it being a 2010 promotion ("we're doing it for the entire year"), back near the start of the license. I can't find anything about it on Google, so I'm assuming it was in video interviews and it was probably back when PJ Lewis was in charge, or when it first switched to Enrique. I don't have sound working at the moment but if anyone wants to look at these videos and check whether they do say anything about it? (part 1 of 6, interview with PJ at Toy Fair) (part 2 of same interview, PH hands over to Enrique) (other parts of that interview appear in the sidebars) A different interview with PJ: Either way, time will tell. People have been finding series 8 for a month or so now, I don't think any of the other sets were out that long without anyone finding 1/1000s.

And i agree ive seen 3 cases of basic 8 opened and not a single 1/1000 sadly and they should have popped up by now.
