I know he left on good terms, it was because his poor sister died and Monty went to look after her two kids, which shows how great of a guy he is, I remember hearing he left on good terms, but man would I love to see this guy back. His pounce was incredible, I still remember that crazy one he laid on Sabu, his entrance music was the crap, he has everything it takes to be a top guy, he has "IT". Anyone know what he's doing today, is he doing any Indy shows?

Probably not, which is a shame as I enjoyed him in TNA and felt he had great potential in the WWE.

He wasnt that bad but WWE will end up not giving him a decent push anyway so it would be pointless.

I'd like to see him back, has he done anything in wrestling since he left? I believe he worked a few Indy shows after his release from WWE.

Unfortunately his age would work against him in WWE. He's over 40 now and hasn't worked but a handful of indy dates. He appearently has a gym or is the head trainer at a gyn. I can't remember which one. You are right about him leaving on good terms though. I remember him saying about a year ago that he was considering a return if things could be worked out for him to do so. Again,Vince is sooooo stuck on age (which should not matter as much as some think these days) that Monty/Marcus would only be used to put talentless ,but young, hacks like Heath Slater or Tyler Recks over.

He wasnt that bad but WWE will end up not giving him a decent push anyway so it would be pointless. You say that as if Monty Brown would deserve some huge push. Maybe if ECW was still around, but most definitely not on Raw or SmackDown.

I was a fan of Monty Brown. The guy loved wrestling and wasnt looking to make a quick buck off his NFL fame.

I talked to him Summer of last year. He said he had big plans in the works and yes we would see him on tv very soon. Looks like plans got broken.

Monty Brown is a TNA Original. I'd like to see him back there, personally.

Every time I read "back" in this thread my mind translated it into "black".

I'd rather see him return to TNA. The guy was great in TNA but the WWE really droped the ball w/ him IMO, having him job on ECW. The guy had alot of potential but his age will hurt him more than anything else.

I met Monty and got to work with him to the point that we talk to one another every so often. He doesnt really care about going back and is content with how he is doing.

Wasnt he on a ppv poster with lashley? I'm sure he wouldve been pretty successful in the wwe. Its a shame what happened though with his sister. But now hes too old. Hes like 40 now, isnt he? I enjoyed him though.
