I think they dropped the ball with HHH. Injuries aside, he is only a few measley title reigns from Flair's record and you would have thought they would have had him break the record before he tears another quad stepping through the ring ropes. He keeps having to rehab, come back, win another, lose, get injured again, etc.
Any owner with grapefruits would have put his favorite son-in-law in a position to have the record before his body breaks down further. He has 12 PPV's a year with an opportunity to win the title (excluding injury time). Win one, lose it a few weeks later and get it back at the next PPV. How hard is that?

Theyve dropped the ball with plenty of things, but theyve also done some great things.

The Royal Rumble. Seriously look at the Rumbles from 1989 to 1993. 30 men 2 minute intervals. Great list of names. Then they started tinkering with it. Changing the interval times, making people enter that had no business (Vince McMahon, Drew Carey etc). Now we're putting in 40 men. Thats not the rumble. Its been a slow drop but they still are dropping the ball with the Rumble I think the 40 men is good because the match in the past years have been going to quick. And they just made the Royal Rumble bigger. Slow the match down. 2 minute intervals. Stop having people come in and then get tossed right out. Let more then 4 people be in the ring at once. Seriously watch older Rumbles they would last over an hour and it seemed every single thing had a story. 1992 Rumble was perfect example. Look at how Flair fought Valentine, Piper and Von Erich. Bringing up classic feuds. All the Rumbles where Santana and Martel fought. Slaughter and Iron Sheik (Col Mustafa) etc etc.

Whenever I read or hear something like this, there's only one guy that comes to my mind and that would be Ultimo Dragon. Man, the WWE more than dropped the ball with this guy. Talk about talent, this guy had a TON of it. I don't believe Ultimo even held a belt during his time in WWE. What the is that all about??

The Nexus storyline is the worst for me. I don't even know where to begin... just end this awful storyline and forget it ever happened.

What the is that all about?? the dragon that joined wwe was a far cry from the one that wowed crowds in the mid 1990s, he got a very bad injury and retired, came back and was a shadow of his former self in-ring, he like curt hennig should have stayed retired, vince already had mysterio on the roster and in the midst of huge push so a washed up dragon stood no chance, him falling over at wm20 summed up his entire wwe career and lol at the guy that thought mvp was going to be the next rock, are you serious, he was a decent heel but a godawful face

Some really good mentions and I would have to say the Royal Rumble and the Tag Division as a whole stand out the most. With the tag division it has been them putting together pretty good or even great teams and then not booking any feuds or stories for them. The Hart Dynasty, the Dudebusters, Cryme Tyme, The Colones, Gate Crashers, on and on. The potential has always been there to have a good tag division, but as I said the effort to do so is lacking. With the Rumble I agree to going back to the traditional format. 2 minute intervals, high midcard and top stars involved, and really pushing feuds. Even if John Cena wins the whole thing the Rumble itself can be an entertaining journey where something gets accomplished. It just hasn't gone down like that for a long time.
I will say, I moderately agree with the McMahon phoning it in comment. There seems to be an insane lack of interest in storylines outside of the main angles. Getting to see Dolph Ziggler have such a great run with the IC title was insanely refreshing but even then I thought there could have been more with the love triangle story. Look at what Daniel Bryan is doing. Look at the lack of story behind JoMos push. I don't need an intricate story. 9 times out of 10 there just needs to be something solid to stand on to help create interest in these guys.

hart dynasty could've been massive if they'd brought teddy in. We kinda did get the Hart Dynasty with Teddy. He wouldn't have shown up for work anyways so it was just like they hired him. true enough.

The Tag Team division in general. Whoever thought splitting up the Hart Dynasty was a good idea should be punched in the head. Crime Tyme, The DudeBusters and The Colons were all good teams that could have great matches with each other if given time and build.
The Nexus: If they won at Summerslam, it would have been huge for them. Instead we got super Cena killing them off and all their legitimacy

Sean O'Haire.
When they brought him on and used the Devil's Advocate gimmick he was gold. Then they started jobbing him out becuase of what happened with Piper.
They could have gotten him over as a monster heel. He was big, quick, agile, and had the look if you ask me.

I was a big O'Haire fan in WCW when he was with the NBT and then when he came over I thought he was tailor made for Vince. The closest we got was a dominating run on Sunday Night Heat and some great vignettes.
