I really hoped for the best when Hogan, Bischoff an co. came in last year. But the product being shown on TV is just terrible. It is like watching WCW when it was collapsing. They do have some talent and can do some good things but they always seem to mess things up. 1st thing was to try to make Jeff Hardy into Hulk Hogan status and then make a new, ugliest thing I ever saw, belt. 2nd they made Mr. Anderson champion! You have to be kidding me. They are trying to make him seem like a Stone Cold Steve Austin. 3rd I'm tired of seeing old man Flair acting like a Mad Man, didn't he complain that WCW was trying to make him act this way in the late 90's? Lastly "They are coming" The first they are coming was a let down, but this second on does have my interest because I want to see who they are (if anyone has a clue please post). But I kind of think they will blow this angle, as usual. They need a big suprise. They need to get a Rock, Brock Lesnar, Shawn Michaels type wrestler. Oh by the way this Double J and Angle feud is definately a flash back of some bad old WCW days of the late 90's early 2000's.

I wouldn't say WCW 2000, maybe WCW 1995 (as far as quality of the on air product, it wasn't very good) They're getting a tiny bit better, but... yeah maybe you've got a point. Yesterday's show was good, but then again sometimes Nitro had some good shows in 2000... doesn't stop the assessment that the show was still the craps

Everyone thinks they can run TNA. Do you think that TNA doesn't want to succeed? I'm kind of tired of all the comparisons to late WCW.. What about is late WCW, honestly? Just because you don't like the direction of the company (Anderson as champ, etc) doesn't mean its bad. And since when is TNA trying to make Anderson into Steve Austin?

How in the world are they trying to make Mr. Anderson into Stevie Austin? This makes zero sense at all. They're nothing alike nor are TNA trying to make them anything like, the only thing that is the same is the fact that they both had/have a camo hat... that's about it.
Steve Austin was the guy who wasn't going to take crap from his boss and stood him to him. Anderson is just a guy who admits that he's not a nice guy, he'll to what ever it takes to win, because he's an a**hole. How are the two the same? They're not. If Anderson was walking out doing Stevie Austin's move-set, cutting a promo in his voice [Note: You really should buy the Ken Anderson shoot just for his Steve Austin impression], you would be right but there is nothing that TNA is doing to make him the next "Stevie Austin".
Your argument is only valid in the sense that both Austin and Anderson' gimmicks were suited for heels but it got them over as babyfaces. That's the only thing really... oh and a camo hat.
--
The fact of the matter is this, we can easily sit here and be arm-chair quarter backs regarding what TNA should be doing, but we don't know what TNA should be doing. This is the reason why I enjoy the TNA product, because I turn my "know it all" mind off and just watch the show as a fan who isn't going to get all wraped up in "putting matches together" or anything to that extent. I'm enjoying the product because of that.

They already got Shark Boy being Stone Cold.
TNA sucks. I watched this past episode and it was just laughable. All i saw was stupid backstage crap. They are reusing their Main Event Mafia formula and its not entertaining. The whole show is a big mess.

Does it have some similarities? Sure. So does WWE.
Bottom line, people who make threads like this are so clouded in their WWE bias, they dont even watch TNA. They just read posts on a message boards and think they know everything about a product that they dont watch.

For everyone who says that TNA is pretty much 'WCW'...didn't watch WCW and doesn't pay enough attention to TNA.

Seems like I hit a cord in you TNA Fans! Firstly don't sit there and start writing that I don't or people don't know what they are talking about and they don't watch the TNA shows. How are they trying to make anderson to austin? Besides the camo hat, they tried to make him look like a heel but likeable, they tried to make him sound like he doesn't care about what anyone says because he does what he wants (lets think about that wasn't austin like that) and austin has the middle finger and anderson has the a**hole. There are other similiarities but lets move on to other things. I honestly watch impact and its PPV's every week and month. Go back and watch the WCW shows from 1999-2001 and the way it was written and carried out is exactly how TNA is now. And the reason for that is they have the same creative people that did both shows. TNA has some good wrestlers who can be used better than they are now. For example the Pope. He has wrestling skill some charisma and you don't see him. You see more of orlando jordan and ric flair than anything. Trust me I'm not saying I could run TNA but in my opinion is they need to get it together and go a different path with their story lines. This "They are coming" angle hopefully will be a turning point. I hope because the show needs help. Maybe some of you need to take your TNA shaded glasses off and look at the show more honestly. Hurry up before they ruin AJ styles forever. lol.

Hurry up before they ruin AJ styles forever. lol. First thing first, they didn't "try" make to make him a likable heel... the fans did that on their own. I don't know what show you're watching but Anderson isn't just a 'likable' heel, he's just being himself and people respond to that. They tried to push him as a straight up heel but the fans [time and time again] proved they didn't want that. The fans still cheered him, still chanted Anderson, and even started the whole "A**Hole" fan section before Anderson started calling them a**holes. They're not building him as a "likable heel", they're building him as an bunghole because "nice guys finish last". Austin and Anderson are not the same thing, far from it. You can't compare the middle figure to the word "a**hole" either, that's just a bad comparison. Anderson isn't Austin, he's just a guy who admits that he's an a**hole and proud of said fact because nice guys, finish last. There is no "middle ground" for Anderson, he's just that [Kayfabe]... him and Austin are nothing alike no matter what build they have. Hey, by your logic I can say Randy Orton is trying to be Mr. Anderson with his "nice guys finish last" comments since that's been Ken's thing for years. Second thing, nobody has on "blinders" here. We're responding your post with our opinion, if you didn't want to know our thoughts on your post... you should have never made it. There is no need to tell us to take our "TNA shades" off just because we have a different view point than you. Yes, we enjoy the product and like I already explained, it's because I [along with others I am sure] watch the show as a fan. Not someone looking to compare every talent to someone from 10 years ago, companies to another company 10 years ago. Fact of the matter, I disagree with you. So, take whatever "shots" you want with your comments of TNA Shades... it's not going to change anything, I disagree with you now and I'll disagree with you a week from now.

You disagree because you are drinking the TNA kool aid. Please read my comment. They are trying to make Anderson into Austin. But its impossible, only TNA doesn't realize it. Unfortunately when people disagree with TNA Wrestling fans they take great offense. TNA needs help. But I guess if the few hundred fans of TNA don't realize it TNA is going to go the way of WCW...OUT OF BUSINESS! By the way did you hear Hogan and Bischoff took pay cuts Signs of a striving company.

I don't disagree because I'm "drinking the cool aid"... I just disagree because I don't agree with you. This entire bullcrap argument that people like to throw out "Oh, you're just drinking the Kool aid", or "You're just a TNA/WWE mark" is pathetic. Give me a real challenge, with facts, proof, and not some bullcrap argument of "you're just drinking the kool-aid".
That piss poor "reason" you give to why I disagree proves to me you have no real argument to the points I made. I'm not saying you cant have an opinion, but you can't discredit my opinion that I backed up with valid points all because I disagree with you.

"Turning into?"
Hasn't it been WCW 2000 since about a year after the company opened?
