;D Nobody ever said TNA is perfect and it isnt, but I like it for what it is-an alternative to the WWE. It's hardly an alternative to the WWE. Sometimes it could be switching from crap (WWE) to something even crappier (TNA) or switching from crap (WWE) to something just as crappy (TNA). I've rarely been blown away by TNA, especially recently. And what exactly is there to be blown away with? To each their own, but there have been things over the past few months that have blew me away: - Styles/Douglas Williams feud [match and story] - Crimson sticking Janice in the back of Abyss - Ken Anderson winning the world championship There's a few more, I'm not going to fret on it though. I mean, it's like I said... to each their own.

Sorry to disappoint, but TNA is nothing like WCW in 2000. Let's see... crappy Booking, repetitive storylines and C-list celebrities? Sounds a LOT like current WWE to me. 2009 WWE maybe... current, definitely not.

"OH MY GOD! You just spent your time and effort saying "TNA gives away it's tickets for Impact" and now you're basically re-stating what Vince Russo just said" What are you talking about. I said TNA is giving tickets for free away for impact tapings. Vince Russo brought up PPVs. You can see impact free and you can get in even without buying a ticket to Universal Studios. All you have to do is pay for parking go to the Universal City Walk and wait in line at the gate of impact. I know people who have done it. So maybe they don't actually give away tickets but you get in for free which is the same thing in my opinion. Vince Russo and others here are stating things as facts from their opinions. What facts are out there that shows TNA is good. I brought up ratings and you TNa fans say you can't go by ratings. I go by size of venues and you say I cant use that. No one here can state that anything is fact like how Russo is stating (and others). Once again state your facts, because thats all they are your facts not real facts. I brought up hogan and bischoff taking pay cuts and you TNA guys say "nobody knows if that is totally true". The only thing we can go by is our opinions of watching and attending the product shows. If you want to sit there and say TNA is awesome and it fine as is, than thats your opinion and feelings. My opinion is I watch TNA Impact and its PPV's and it is reminding me of WCW in the late 90's and early 2000's. The story lines and even some of the same characters have formed my opinion on this. 1. You also said TNA shows are free to Universal visitors, and these are the people who pay to get in to Universal Studios. Therefore they are still paying to get in to TNA shows (as well as the other attractions) The whole deal about paying for parking to get into Universal Boardwalk : IT STILL MEANS THE SHOW IS NOT FRICKING FREE. The money Universal gets from the parking would be given to TNA as well as all the other amusements there, so you fail, yet again. 2. GIVING AWAY TICKETS = GETTING IN FOR FREE Therefore your opinion is invalid and WRONG

there is no way for universal to determine who pays for parking just for tna. Have you ever been there? Thousands of people pay to park there to go to clubs, movies, restaurants, etc. Universal is not paying TNA the parking fee. Its free to get into the show. You are paying because there is no where else to park. To get technical you could take a city bus to the area so you wouldn't have to pay for parking. You are in fact WRONG

You are paying because there is no where else to park. To get technical you could take a city bus to the area so you wouldn't have to pay for parking. You are in fact WRONG And you are not reading what I put properly Let me spell this out for you: THE PARKING GENERATES MONEY. SAID MONEY IS GIVEN TO UNIVERSAL. UNIVERSAL HANDS OUT THE MONEY TO TNA AND OTHER VENUES, THEREFORE YOU DON'T PAY TO GET IN. UNIVERSAL WILL HAND OUT MONEY TO TNA BASED ON THEIR POPULARITY FOR THOSE WHO GO THERE. PEOPLE WHO PARK ARE PAYING UNIVERSAL. THIS HELPS GENERATE REVENUE FOR THE FACILITIES. TNA IS A FACILITY ON THE PREMESIS. If TNA didn't have fans who attend their shows and haven't paid one way or another, then Universal would not tolerate this and evict them from the premesis. Even those people who get a bus in to go to the Universal Boardwalk will more than 90% be likely pay for things like souvenirs, beverages.... This still generates money. Universal get enough money from their amusement parks for them not to have to charge upon entry to the Universal Boardwalk other than through parking. I want you to really think about your next statement before you type on here, because you'll only get shot down once again. And PLEASE don't change the subject

Do you know anything about business?? It is Universals property. Whoever wants to use their property would pay THEM. Do you think Universal is paying TNA to be on its property? You are paying a parking fee to be on the premesis. Its a huge area the City Walk. There is no way to determine which people paid for parking to go to TNA. Its not just parking for TNA. Theres a movie theater, several restaurants, the NBa Store, a couple night clubs, etc. Don't threaten me about posting and making statements. You could go to some other post if you want. But you have no idea what you are talking about.

I am not going anywhere, I created this post Ok mr. business impact lets you see them free but you park at city walk (a huge entertainment hub) and this is than paid to TNA (how would you determine how much of the money would go to TNA? ). There are literally over 30 different entertainment entitites on site. Maybe in the UK they do that but I doubt Universal is doing that here in America. I would think TNA would have to pay Universal for using their facilities.

That is the biggest lie Bischoff has convinced people as being the truth. When WCW was acquired as part of the AOL/ Time Warner deal, WCW lost 60 million in the previous year. It was no longer a viable company. If it was the hot product making millions like in years past, it wouldn't have been sold. the name value of wcw in itself was still worth millions. the company itself was worth over 60 million. the invasion angle in the wwe cost them millions of dollars as well, does that mean that the wwe was permanently in the toilet? nope, it means they made some really bad choices and needed some revision. once again...no. immortal isn't anywhere near as dominant as the nwo was, and is already facing it's end when it culminates against whoever 'they' are. it's a temporary storyline to help the old guys put new guys over. i mean, if you're going to relate it to something, at least say the millionaire club/new blood angle...that would actually make some sense. WCW sold for 2.5 million dollars in 2001. A far cry from 60 million. In 2001, WCW was such a damaged name, no one would have paid anywhere near 60 million for it. I'm stating a fact that the Hulk Hogan / NWO formation happened 14 years prior to the Bound For Glory / Immortal abomination. If you think the angle is more like the New Blood / Millionaires Club angle, that's fine.Blame Russo, Bischoff and Hogan, not me.

People compare TNA to WCW because you have the same ego-manics from the 90's still throwing around their weight as if they're still popular. Can't wait for the members of Main Event Mafia to come back... All they need now is Lex Lugar, Rick Steiner and Buff Bagwell.

As far as Jeff being a heel, just go to a TNA house show. People do not want to boo him. He had a huge line of people waiting to take pics with him in the ring. It was an idiotic decision for both business and storyline reasons to turn him heel. He was turned heel to swerve people. Great logic. Hogan was a heel in 1996 because he was being booed as a babyface. Things can't be booked to make 10% of wrestling fans happy. Jeff did a better job as a heel then expected. It would be like if Cena became a heel and we were led to believe he was a part of Nexus all along. It would be interesting for shock value, but would ultimately be viewed as moronic.

Where are you getting this info from? And what are you referring to with contracted tv time slots i'm getting this information directly from those who were involved in the dealings: watch the 'rise and fall of wcw' film or even read the book 'the death of wcw'. half of what made wcw worth as much as it was was that it had prime time tv slots, as in they had time slots given to them through their contract to turner broadcasting. without those, the company was worth barely a fraction of what it would be with them. so when aol time warner pulled out, they essentially killed wcw in that move. bischoff himself tried to purchase wcw before vince got his hands on it, but things fell through, and the rest is history. if bischoff had purchased wcw, there is a good possibility they could still be active. wcw really started going into turmoil when bischoff lost power, so i can't say i understand in the least why he gets the hate he does.

TNA as far as I see, will be here for awhile. They are a steady alternative too WWE, and are the only other show on television, seeing how ROH lost their deal. But that is another story. Yes, TNA feel short with the signing of Hogan and Bishoff. As far as taking the company places. But they are going on the road. I think that their choice to keep it a " Territoy" schedule is smart. The north is a more WWE environment. I also feel that TNA would have a rough time booking for the more hardcore fans up north...i.e the 2002-2005 bookings. Looking at the storylines in TNA as of now, are great. Sure putting a 2x4 full of nails into Abyss' back was bad tv, aswell as the overly bloodied RVD months back. But with Immortal and They 2.0 around the corner will make for a great feud, hopefully leading up to a leathal lockdown to end all. The Kurt Angle Jeff Jerrett angle is probably the hottest thing in wrestling right now. As far as true heat, and tv drama goes. It is one of those moments that you can't physically pull yourself from the television.I for one am excited to see how it pans out. TNA also has a locker room full of talent that can go past the limit in But, in defense, TNA does lack the best writting and booking to let them show case these skills. A much longer feud between MCMG and Generation Me would have been great. Both teams have phenomenal move sets... But I could go on and on about each talent, pointing out their shine. But the point in case, is that TNA will be here for awhile, weather they have the same fan base as now will be up to their booking and writting, aswell as their tour schedules. My only complant, is that I miss the high paced, high impact matches they had in the early days. They need to bring back that fire during matches, mainly the X Division. Where the match was fast yet could end at any second.
