I had a WWF wrestling game for Sega CD that I really enjoyed. I forget the name of it. but hit had a steel cage on the cover of the game. I'd use Taker, Perfect or Bret all the time. I still have it here somewhere packed away.

My Sega Gensis/Sega CD is a bizarro unit few people are aware of even exists that JVC made in a deal made with Sega over the Sega CD called the JVC X'Eye. I love the Sega CD because I'm a sucker for FMV games and the original version of Sonic CD is a high point for the entire franchise.

I very well remember getting WWF Rage In The Cage and after about half hour realising that it was in fact not as great as I thought it would be lol. All I had to go on was a AD in WWF magazine and the screenshots made it seem amazing well it turned out apart from the roster it was not as good as the older Royal Rumble game I mean it didn't even have tag matches. At the time however the FMV clips blew me away despite the quailty of them.
My best memory of the Mega CD was Eternal Champions, for people that don't know it was Segas own version of Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat and they made one for the Mega Drive that was pretty good but the Mega CD was was awesome.

But my favorite Genisis games were the Sports talk baseball & football

I love the Sega CD, along with other underrated consoles, such as the Atari Jaguar, 3DO, and Saturn. There's a lot of good stuff on the Sega CD. The Lunar games, Snatcher, Vay, Dark Wizard, Dungeon Master, Dungeon Explorer II, Heart of the Alien, Shining Force CD, and Sonic CD. Then you've got your awesome FMV games, which I'm a fan of oddly. My favorite would probably be Wirehead. Some of the others I like are Night Trap, Road Avenger, and I also enjoy Dragon's Lair and Space Ace, although the versions for the 3DO are much better. Willy Beamish is a pretty awesome game, I just wish the load times weren't so awful. AND SPEAKING OF AWFUL LOAD TIMES, those American Laser Games (Who Shot Johnny Rock, Crime Patrol) games have the worst load times I have ever seen. You literally shoot the gun once, wait for a minimum of 30 seconds (usually it's around 1 minute), the clip randomly starts up again and scares you to death, the bad guy shoots you first, then there's another 45 minutes load time, and then a police officer tells you how horribly you ed up. I mean, the 3DO version are actually playable, and enjoyable in a mindless sort of way, but it's amazing that the Sega CD versions were ever even released. I rambled a little bit, but yeah I love the Sega CD.

At the time I really enjoyed the Sega CD, but with a few exceptions, a lot of the games for it were total crap in retrospect.
The novelty, for me, of FMV wore off very quickly.
But Lunar, Snatcher, Sonic CD, NHL 94 were legit great games.

Yeah same for me as well, although I'm not fond of the Model 2 Mega CD it just looks ugly in my opinion. One day I'll have this setup, one of the best looking console setup's ever.

I loved the arcade port of Final Fight. The SNES version was nothing compared to the Sega CD/Arcade version. And of course, Sonic CD was one of the best games Sega ever put out.
