I have been able to set my backgrounds and wallpapers to designs of my choosing. I don't see how a theme will be much better.

Yeah, I had a Droid for a little over a year and a half and I got the new Verizon iphone earlier this week. "Freedom" is overrated. There is nothing wrong with the way the iphone is constructed and thus far I prefer it.

Exactly. The iOS/Android argument is a moot point. There are going to be people who prefer iOS to Android, and vice versa. I had a Droid when I was on Verizon. I loved it. Not bashing it at all. I have an iPhone now, since I'm with AT&T. I love it too. Nothing about the iPhone now that's making me wish I had my Droid still, just like there was nothing about the Droid that made me wish I had an iPhone then.

Android phones definitely have much more capabilities and much better specs than the iPhone, but those things aren't really that big of a deal if you're just an average phone user.
To the average user I think the iPhone is better in that it's really simplified, and Apple is really good at making user-friendly operating systems (and the App Store is simply bigger than the Android Market, which is another big selling point.)
The Android phones, like Hulk said, you have much more freedom to customize your phone but it takes a little bit of more computer knowledge and work to do it rather than simply changing wallpapers on the iPhone. App developers also have much more freedom to create apps for the Android which increases (and decreases) the potential for better apps
I prefer the Android over the iOS, but I like both kinds of phones. It's when some Apple users state stuff that are totally false and ignorant that blows my mind.
And to stay on topic- The Grooveshark app is the main reason why I would jailbreak my iPhone.

I've had my iPhone 4 jailbroken for about a month now. I love being about to input my own themes, not pay for apps/games/ringtones, and put things like a Game Boy Advance emulator on it. But that's just me. If you're still looking for an easy way to JB your phone, Check out "EverythingApplePro" on YouTube. He's damn good and I managed to jailbreak my phone though his tutorials within minutes, and fix any kinks some apps that crash now and then.
