I personally don't buy the "everything happens for a reason" line. But I don't know why they asked his opinion anyway.

I must say that it's quite hilarious how serious you took my comment.... I'm sure any other religious person on this forum like myself would have took it the same way. I'm not religious, and I felt that wasn't a very appropriate comment. This is my opinion, to which I am entitled.

Well, Christian principle says everything happens for a reason. What others mean for evil, God means unto good. I think the hate is just that it was Bieber who said it really.
Either way, its stupid to ask him what his political beliefs are when he's not even old enough to really have any. Oh, and did I mention...
HE'S CANADIAN ANYWAYS!!!! (unless he got his citizenship now that he lives in Georgia, but I have no knowledge of that)

If you're ignorant on a subject, you shouldn't just make up crap on the fly.
He asked if its like killing a baby. It's up to your own interpretation, and then you form your opinions based on that. That's how you decide what party you'd like to support. A Little ridiculous.
"But whatever they have in Korea, that's bad." No crap.
Wait... isn't he Canadian? Does he even have dual citizenship?

He's like 15 or something. Let him off the hook. Why the hell are they asking him about his political opinions? Sure, but when I was 15 or 16 both my friends and I were not obnoxious douchebags on the level of Justin Beiber. Granted, political questions are a little daft for a 16 year old pop singer, but surely he should have the composure to dodge the question or tell the interviewer he doesn't feel comfortable answering the question if it's evident that he has absolutely no idea what he's talking about.

He should not even talk about stuff like that..
It won't bring anything good.

Obviously someone isn't going to post that their neighbor said it so we have to up the ante on it.

Why the hell are they asking him about his political opinions? but surely he should have the composure to dodge the question or tell the interviewer he doesn't feel comfortable answering the question if it's evident that he has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. Its evident by the way he said either he is a christian or is portraying being a christian. As a christian I find refusing to answer questions such as "what religion are you?" or "Do you think abortions are wrong?" a slap in the face to god by saying you are ashamed of your religion. For the record I believe pot should be legal, I believe abortion should be legal, and I believe prostitution should be legal. However I have good reasons for that believes. Marajuana will be sold no matter what and has very little long term damage if any. They tax Marajuana and the government could lower taxes on medical care or other necessities. I am against abortion but feel it should be legal because no matter what there will be women who get pregnant that will do what it takes to make sure the child dies. Do I like it? No, however I accept it. If abortion isn't legal these woman will risk there own life to kill the babies. I'd much rather see 1 life lost then 2 lives lost. I am against prostitution but believe it should be legal because no matter what there will be prostitution and if its legal it can be made safer for both consumer and producer. This alone would help fight STD's and save numerous prostitutes lives. Yes I believe everything happens for a reason. You may never know what that reason is. However domino effects can start off small and spread. A rape victim could end up going to therapy and end up making a life long friend or meeting there future spouse. Or it could be as simple as changing where she is in a year. Or even 2 days. For all we know you stopping to pick up a penny on the side walk could save your life. Them 2 seconds could grow into causing you to being 30 seconds late causing you to hit a stop light and miss getting ran over. Or touching a door handle after a sick person causing you to get sick and not be at work when it catches on fire. Think about it like this when the twin towers were taken down there were people legitimately out that day sick. Had they not touched that dirty door knob or germy dollar bill they could have been killed.

Actually it's more sad than it is funny if they truly were wondering about it. You are right, most of his fans are teenage girls, and considering the volume of teen pregnancy, they now know the beibers opinion on whether they should have an abortion or not!

I love how he clarifies that he guesses he's never been in a position of rape before.

He`s from Stratford... Can`t blame him. Hah!
But really, I wasn't thinking about politics and abortion in grade 10 either. They have this new mandatory course in the Ontario curriculum called "civics" in grade 10 (which he obviously isn't taking) but you learn basic Canadian politics. It was introduced maybe 10 years ago? and it's a pretty big joke. It's split in a semester with the other half of the course being called "careers" where you explore what you want to do with your life and what your options are. Both are useless, but it's a good start.
