I was at TRU today picking up Marvel vs. Capcom when I spotted this sign... I asked the kid working there and he "confirmed" that they are indeed two-packs supposedly coming out with the game. But just today we seen pics of Randy Orton vs. Jake The Snake which isn't listed. Not sure what the make of this but still thought I'd pass it on.

The things listed there are DVDs. So I'm guessing the WWE will release a HHH/Hogan DVD or something like that.

WOWOWOW!!!
Maybe different retailers are getting different packs? Like K-Mart will get their own like Jake Vs Orton while TRU will be getting Hogan and HHH???

That's what I originally thought but the guy claimed they were promotional figures. He seemed t know what he was talking about too.

I'm gonna say he didn't know what he was talking about and these are dvd sets of some sort. Seeing as there is a Cena DVD out called the John Cena experience.

Wow. Interesting. Hopefully it's correct.
Feb. 22nd is not far!
*edit* I seriously doubt this is correct though. That dude from Mattel was talkin about how he wanted Hogan, Flair, etc to come back so they could make their figures... and that wasn't long ago at all.

Honestly, I'mhoping these are All-Stars packs. I believe Cena/Rock could easily be one. As far Hogan/Triple H goes.. GOD I HOPE SO!!!! I would absolutely LOVE a Mattel Hogan!! The only offputting thing is, why would they make Hogan's debut Mattel figure in a Two-Pack for a promotion? Wouldn't they do something big with him like a DM or Legends figure?

The only offputting thing is, why would they make Hogan's debut Mattel figure in a Two-Pack for a promotion? Wouldn't they do something big with him like a DM or Legends figure? Because they aren't. As Juice said, Bill would have mentioned something about Hogan at Toyfair especially if the figure was coming out in 2 weeks from when the interview is taking place. These are old DVDs packed together. The John Cena Expierence was the name of Cena's last DVD.

Isn't Hogan in the game? I would think that is the only way to release him if it's tied in with the game. They can't release him in anything else like DM, Legends, etc. However, I'm not holding my breathe though.
But why would TRU re-release DVDs? I don't think I've seen that before. Are they rereleasing the Rock's DVD again?

The DVD theory is making alot of sense. I honestly apologize for getting everyone's hopes up if this is a dud. I was just passing the info along. We discussed the game before I seen this and he seemed pretty excited about Hogan being in the game, he even knew he was in TNA. lol That's why I took his word.

Seems like DVDs to me. Figures rarely have release dates. That list is in the DVD section. As stated that was the name of John Cena's last DVD. Lastly I would like to think we would have gotten much more of a head's up for a Hulk Hogan figure. Your Queen P.S FEB 22 is a Tuesday. That is the day new DVDs come out.
