I've always liked Show but as a fan I certainly take him for granted at times. Watching his new DVD documentary on Netflix though really made me want to see him get one more title run. I mean if Kane can get a 6 month title reign after jobbing nonstop for 2 years why can't the still dominate Show, at age 38, have himself a nice little run as World Heavyweight Champion?

I too have always liked Show, I prefer him as a face as it's a role which he is more suited due to his funny personality. His personality is his main strength imo so I find him rather boring as a heel.
I wouldn't mind a short run for the same reason you gave, he's paid his dues like Kane and it deserves to pay off someway.

My best friend texted me and said the same exact thing, the appreciation for the Big Show. I didn't dig the documentary that much, but I've always been a fan of the Big Show anyway. I'd be for him getting a short Championship reign. His ECW Championship reign would have been much better had he been in shape.

Because sadly, Big Show's no more than a novelty to the WWE anymore. I personally believe in the WWE's eyes, the only difference they see between The Big Show and The Great Khali is one can actually speak English.
Now, had we been talking about this right after his return, after the Floyd thing...or even during the Vickie/Edge/Show/Cena thing, those were really in my opinion the points when he was at his most...over (?) in the WWE. Keep in mind I've not been watching for as long as some others so I don't know what he was like before around...2005, but still.

It's amazing how he used to move. I can't even picture him doing those things anymore.

I'd like to see him have a "thank you" run, he can still put on entertaining matches and in my eyes he's one of the best mic men in the WWE currently. He definitely deserves it.

Same thing. I always liked Big Show, but after watching the documentary I gained a ton of respect for him.

Personally, I've never found Big Show to be interesting.

I've always been a decent Big Show fan. I remember him getting alot of hate on here and always thought it was really unnecessary. He's widely over as a face, widely over as a heel, he's always been an exceptional worker for his size, he has excellent mic work, marketable, trustworthy.
I'll have to pick his DVD up now. And I wouldn't mind him getting a "thank you" title run, same way I didn't mind Kane.

We may never again see the likes of Big Show. He's a much better athlete than most true giants, he's eloquent, and he's charismatic.
It's good to see that he's gotten healthier over the last few years. I'm glad to see him eating better, working out, and getting better rest. Keep it up, big guy.

I view Big Show to the WWE as a captain to a sports team. He may not be the best all around, but he definitely has experience, and when he's gone, you definitely get that "something's missing" feeling.

There may be other 7 foot guys (all of whom either play basketball or are in FCW) but none of them are as massive as Big Show, both when he was in his prime and now. Khali is the only guy who can match him and as you pointed out he's a hell of a lot more athletic than him.

I think they should have him work The Giant gimmick again, with the one strap singlet and long hair, and everything. Would be nostalgic and I think it'd be over as well.

I've always been a big Big Show fan and defended him many times on here. Glad to see people are starting to appreciate the big guy.
I too would like to see him get another world title run. I was pulling for him to beat Swagger last year although I knew he wouldn't.

I been a fan of the Big Show for quite a while now. I wouldn't mind seeing him have a World Title run again. Like Eat Defeat said hes paid his dues and I think that he should be rewarded with that.

I gotta agree too! After watching the documentary on Netflix, I came to like him quite a bit. He seemed like a normal dude, just freaking huge. Unfortunately, he bores me to death in the ring. I don't think that will ever change. Hopefully, he'll be involved with WWE in come capacity for a very long time. I'd like to see him as a commentator or Tough Enough coach; he seems intelligent and has one hell of a sense of humor.

Big Show, as a face, will always be one of my favourite Superstars.
I don't think he needs a title run all that badly though. I wouldn't complain if the belt was put on him, just like I didn't complain when Kane had the belt for that spell, but I just don't think it's necessary.
