Thanks guys, I will being posting a list of materials once I get some extra time. As for the 6 sided, I am going to be figuring that out in the next couple weeks because my son keeps rocking out on the 4 sided one I never get a chance to use it. Also a cage will come in time. I have figured out how to create molds so I have been waiting on finishing the stage up since I am going to make a few molds of the silver stage area so I can use them on my ladder set up stuff.

Wow, so not to bring up and old thread but I can't believe its been 3 years since I built this stuff. I got into custom McFarlanes so I've been away from this for a while. Made a smaller 6 sided ring, I'll through up pics this week. Also making a lot of misc improvements to the boys set up. Thin kings about making a cage, he has been asking for the chamber but I haven't figured out a good plan for that.
Also any interest in purchasing rings? Thinking about making a few and getting them ready for order. I've got some improvements to the ring set up too that I think everyone will enjoy.

Just awesome man! ^-^

Interesting ring. What did you use for the ring mat? Looks like good material; nice and smooth. The measurements look crisp and the ring looks sturdy. Here are a few constructive criticisms:
1. I would go with round turnbuckles rather than square ones. 2. I would go with metal turnbuckles rather than wood ones. 3. In particular, go with aluminum tubes. That way you won't have to paint them silver or black. 4. If you're going for realism, you'd want the each turnbuckle connected to the one opposite it by a cable underneath the ring. Each turnbuckle cable should screw into each end of a galvanized "turnbuckle" piece in the middle. That way you can remove the turnbuckles if you want and adjust the tension. 5. Where's your ring apron?
I'll be making a ring myself soon, and am going for the a realistic design with metal, etc. like you mention. We should troubleshoot for each other!

That ring is beautiful beyond words, except for it's height. Is it possible for you to shave off an inch from the bottom of the posts?
Your cage is progressing terrifically, & the arena set-up cannot be described with proper praise. Please post photos of the finished product immediately!
