As mentioned before, I think for the regular consumer, its perfectly fine. The problem simply lies within us being more informed about the product (was going to say smarter, but after seeing some posts around here that wouldn't be the best word choice).

I largely just collect Legends so to me it's not nearly enough. I'd honestly be happy if we got some tweener series of repaints of current legends like Steamboat, Perfect, Rude, Slaughter, Duggan and then maybe one with a few mods like Jimmy Snuka with barefeet in that other month while we wait on new figures.
With only 4 figures released every 2-3 months that Legends fix doesn't get fed too often. ;-)

Yeah, as far as buying the figures in stores, they seem to fall behind (I got my series 8 2-packs months ago, and still haven't seen them in stores yet.) I've been enjoying my new legacy 2-pack for quite awhile now, and I'm glad I ordered online and not have to worry about missing out on it in stores. I just get worried in the rush to play catch-up, that stores will get less of a quantity of a certain wave in order to move onto the next one. Especially with the two packs, in my area they seem to send out a ton of one series, so the stores order or get in less of the next series, and then the series after that is heavily ordered to replenish the now-dwindling stock. I always save enough so I can afford to buy the figures when they come out in big qauntities, my concern is just that I may not be able to find a certain figure in time before they move onto the next series, or that they order less of one series in anticipation of saving stock space for the soon-to-be-released next series. But yeah, RSC is a godsend if you absolutely have to be sure you get a figure (and get it sooner). I already have Daniel Bryan on Preorder, beacuse for me it's worth the extra money to be sure that I can get one if miss out on finding him in stores. (Plus it's nice to get them in super-early

It's ok in my area. It seems some series we get pretty quickly, but others we lag behind quite a bit. I've seen signature series almost a month ago and Elite 7 for what seems like forever now (although just today I finally found Smith that I needed). I have yet to see WrestleMania Heritage 2 which I am on the lookout for where others saw it ages ago.

This benefits RSC because they get everything in sooner. It is unfortunate that retail is falling way behind, and seems like they haven't stocked anything "2011" except for those damn rumblers.

I only collect Legends, so it's a little frustrating to see how quickly the basic and elite waves get churned out compared to the Legends line.
But hey, it certainly is easier on the wallet!

i only collect one of each current superstar and some random legends. right now i'm waiting on new poop to come out so i can get new guys, i have everyone that is out at retail so i'd say for me at least they arent coming out fast enough! I actually agree with that, wish mattel would hurry it up, for people that feel it's too much, no one is forcing you to buy it

We have to remember that Mattel essentially just finished their first year with WWE. I've already seen a better distribution in my area this calendar year when it comes to Elites. Series 6 is pretty much nowhere to be found with the exception of the odd Batista or Shad. Series 7 seems to be moving out of stores at a good pace as well except for Kidd. I think what we're really going to find is that if you don't buy something when it hits stores right away, you won't be able to find it unless it's a real shelf warmer.
I personally don't find Mattel to be moving too fast at all. Of course I only collect Elite and Legends I care about and rarely buy the same wrestler twice unless it's Undertaker. I actually like this little break between 7 and 8. I don't have to go hunting for the next couple of weeks at all unless Legends 4 start hitting and even then I'm only picking up Bam Bam.
Now if you're a completest...well sucks for you. It's hard to feel bad for people who spend thousands of dollars on action figures when that money could be going towards something a little more worth while in this world.
