On Raw I was watching Ted being Hunter's bitch for a couple of minutes when I thought of the push I heard Ted was going to get last year. Correct me if I'm wrong, but why did they stop it? He even had a movie, but was it because Orton was just to over with the crowd? And if Ted had gotten the push, where do you think he'd be now?
I think Ted would probably have gotten the same treatment as Swagger or Sheamus, minus the world titles, and he'd be (or would've been) the United States Champion. I also think that Orton would still be a heel right now, and still in the title picture. As for Cody I think really nothing would've changed for him and he'd still have his dashing gimmick.

Well being on Superstars hurt him, having Goldust get hurt while their feud was getting going hurt him, being passed over for a match with Taker at WM hurt him and what Hunter did to him on Raw pretty much killed him as an on-air talent.
I figured with his brother on the way up and his father being a WWE Legend, DiBiase would be around for years to come but now I'm not so sure.

I don't mean to say that Ted deserves to be in the main event scene because he doesn't have enough about him to be there, but I do think he is one of the most under-used Superstars on the roster right now. A face turn last year could have worked wonders for him because frankly he doesn't make anyone hate him as a heel. He's not a good talker so he could have easily been a actions rather than words type face.

He needs to go to Smackdown. I agree! And circle gets the square! Anyway, he seems like a better fit on SD. Raw is just flooded with stars and SD seems like they could use another top Heel.

i think as long as Ted doesnt quit or get released he will be ok in the long run. I think they should bring up his brother and make them a tag team to get Ted going again. he was at his highest point when teaming with Cody. once he gets some momentum on his side again he should be a big name for years to come. I think he has World Champion potential if he is built up right. plus something he has on his side is that his dad wasnt world champion. seems to be a strange relationship I noticed but it seems like when wrestlers follow world champion fathers they cant really go anywhere as far as getting a world title (ex. david sammartino, david flair, and goldust) but when fathers dont win the world title the kids get the world title (ex. the rock and randy orton)

I'm pretty sure they stopped pushing Ted DiBiase because he's dull as hell. The best chance they had of getting him over was when he was turning face against Orton, but the crowd turned Orton face instead and DiBiase was screwed from there. His horrible theme music doesn't help. But seriously, he's bland as hell.

He needs to go to Smackdown. thats true, but so does Bourne, it was so depressing to see what they have done with him since his return.

By help I don't mean having the Million $ belt, Maryse, a feud with Goldust and s*** new music thrown at him all at once.

I tried liking Ted before Legacy, during Legacy, and after Legacy. And through all of it, all he has done is bore me, and remind me of how much better Cody was in Legacy, as well as now.

Fair point, but I like how people always say nowadays how they 'always preferred Cody to Ted'. I mean, really they were very similar in their legacy days, and if anything, Cody spent the last few months in Legacy as a bit of an afterthought. It was all about whether Ted would finally be getting himself free of Orton's crap... only for Orton to turn face instead, which to me was a nonsensical decision at the time.

He needs to go to Smackdown. Ted needs a gimmick that makes people care about him. all he has is trying to relive his dad's bit and that doesn't work cause Jr didn't inherit any of the charisma. a move could help but they need to give him something and fast.

I have been saying since day 1 that Cody was the real talent. DiBiase is a good WRESTLER....thats it. He is a lousy speaker and lacks personality. If he is even on Wrestlemania it will be to take finishers from all of the HOF-ers. It's hilarious how he was supposed to be the breakout star, the one the fans were supposed to side with after Legacy exploded (as an aside, if that were the desired result, I don't think they could have booked it any worse), but Orton became the Austin of today. You say he needs help...he got help, a lot of it. They tried putting him with Maryse....nothing. They tried giving him hip new music (which doesn't suit him at all)...even less, then they tried to give him the million dollar belt. That didn't even work. They even tried to make him grow a beard to make him look like his dad, and he couldn't even do THAT right. To make a long story short, DiBiase was given the world and couldn't do anything with it. Cody was given a pretty terrible gimmick. Not only did he make it work, but he is now taking it a dark, creepy, disturbing way. DiBiase doesn't have it and never did. Cody always had it. I couldn't believe I was the only one to see it from the start.

Fair enough, but there were so few Cody backers that it's easy to make the mistake. I stand corrected. I was one of the few.

I've always liked Ted and hey look Sheamus got the Triple H beat down and two weeks later he was US Champ so who knows what will happen with Ted.
