Your definition of appropriate does not equate to the same definition as everyone else. Just because you, or others, don't find his comments to be fitting of a remeberance thread, doesn't mean he isn't just entitled to his opinion, but also can share it and have it held in the same respect as anyone else's opinion.
As for my "holier than thou statement", it was a question. I shouldn't be found at fault for you taking offense to a question, and making an assumption of the reasoning behind it. I do find it humorous that your suggestion is to just "pay your respects and move on", which was my original intentions. It wasn't until YOU took offense to a question that could have easily been over looked and never brought up again. It wasn't until YOU quoted and replied to my question, that once again could have just fallen into history.
Rest in Peace Liz, and JTG, feel free to PM me if you'd like to continue. I feel my time in this thread is up.

Ehh gonna have to strongly disagree. But nonetheless, RIP. I mean, ur wrong but I guess that's your prerogative. ING GORGEOUS Like I said, I disagree. I think she was ugly. Sue me. But still, RIP. She was a great actress, I just didnt think she was pretty at all.

She was definitely smokin' hot. I remember watching 'Taming of the Shrew' in school about the time she was getting a little chunky and older, but she was still striking with those beautiful hypnotic eyes and her boobs bouncing all over the place...needless to say there was a big puddle of drool on my desk by time the film was over.

I am not familiar with or a fan of any of her movies. I couldn't name 1 actually.
I know of her because she was loved by a lot of people, and her connection with Michael Jackson.
She had a reputation of being a great and loving person.
R.I.P.

She was gorgeous.
My grandma looked just like her, both young her and older her. And she married my grandpa who was Randy Savage's doppelganger.
RIP.

Herad about this this morning, may she rest in peace, Taylor was a screen icon, most definitely.
She will be missed.

I've been a huge fan of hers for while. Elizabeth Taylor was a fantastic actress who was overshadowed by he personal life.
She will be sorely missed.

It's sad, but I have to admit that the first thing that popped into my head was, "she was only 79?"

Just read the obit. Had no idea she was a Dame of the Order. But then again, that's probably because I had no idea she was British.
