I havent seen any of the Legends 2 packs since series 1 DId they discontinue this line?
If they were to continue who would be some 2 Packs you would like to see released?
Here are some 2 Packs I wouldn't mind seeing: Hart Foundation Bret & Anvil The Rockers Legion of Doom with Red Shoulder pads Nasty Boys Powers of Pain Money Inc M$M and IRS New Age Outlaws
Classic fueds 2 packs I would like to see: Austin vs The Rock Hogan vs Andre The Giant Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels Undertaker vs Kane (masked) Eddie Guererro vs Rey Mysterio (Halloween Havok) Triple H vs Mankind The Smoking Guns
A Manager Series would be nice as well:
Jimmy Hart w/ Honky Tonk Man Doink w/ Dink M$M w/ Virgil Shawn Michaels w/ Sheri Macho Man w/ Elizabeth Triple H w/ Chyna Goldust w/ Marlena

Yes, unfortunately it has been discontinued. They will be placing the previous lineups within the legends line.

This still really pisses me off. Legends 2 packs are a must. Mattel really screwed this up!

As I said before, ONE thing Jakks did right was their choices for the first CS 2 packs. If Mattel did the same guys, they would've been a huge success I think.

I still think the figure choices had next to nothing to do with the 2pks failures. Unless it was only my area, the 2pks DID sell quite well. The only problem was, they wouldn't stop restocking the damn things.
When a store exclusive is being distributed in far higher quantities than series that are available everywhere, something is horribly wrong. The issue seemed to be quantity, not quality.

I think its a combination of name choices and price. The price was a little steep, but I think if the names were right people would've bought them. Which leads me to...
Name choices. None of the names were bad, but they definitely weren't suited for the first series. Road Warriors, Demolition, and Maybe the Bushwhackers or The Rockers is a solid line-up. I kind of hatre it when a company releases tag teams in singles series. I like had Mattel put LOD with their classic red and black attires, have Demolition's debuts figures and the Bushwhackers (at 1 set per case), We would have seen another series of 2-packs.

JAKKS' CS line starting names SCREAMED "WWE." IMO Mattel's Legends first few series with the exception of Austin, say NWA.

JAKKS' CS line starting names SCREAMED "WWE." IMO Mattel's Legends first few series with the exception of Austin, say NWA. Exactly..... Mattel kinda came in with the assumption that because people love classic figures they'll buy them all. But they still need the "hook line and sinker" figures that will start people collecting Guys who dont buy figures but walk down the aisle and See their favorite Wrestler like bret and pick him up on a whim, then go back to Buy HBK then it spreads like a plague and after a while they're even buying the brooklyn brawler for their collection Guys like Brian Pillman and Jimmy Snuka Dont start collections, Start with The Big Names, Undertaker, Macho Man, Hogan , Warrior , Andre, HBK , Bret , then start adding their competitors, Kamala, Papa Shango, Earthquake, Jake the Snake, Barbarian , Big Boss Man, Psycho Sid, Honky Tonk Man, Etc etc... I Hope Matteldesignteam reads this thread , They are the Tops when it comes to Making Figures..... Nothing Beats the Legends and Elite Lines, But the Lineups need work.... Honestly, Look at Jakk's Successes and Fails and Learn from them, they played this game a long time Its like if Legends of Wrestlemania The Videogame Didnt have Hogan, Warrior, Andre, Undertaker .... It Wouldnt have Sold.... Every WWE Product Needs Its Marquee Names To Sell It!

are they still going to release The Rockers and Von Erichs as 2-Packs or have those been scrapped? Kerry & Kevin are in the line-up for Legends 6, along with Warrior & Eddie (see the sig above this post). I'm not sure about the Rockers, but I have a feeling we'll see them in the solo line eventually.

WOW! its funny to see all the hate for the Piper/Orton and Shiek/Volkoff two packs, I for one would rather have them then the rockers or the von erichs any day. If they are going to cancel the two packs then I am glad we at least got those. Pipers pit was always a favorite as a kid and Shiek and Volkoff to me where the best tag team of the eighties. The hart foundation is a close second though. I can't believe all the hate for "obscure" characters like Volkoff, hillbilly jim etc. I didn't even know who Eddie Guerrero was until last month when I had to google him. I know I am in the minority but series 6 is a complete pass for me,I have bought every legend so far but series 6 is a definite skip for me, except maybe Warrior. I hope series 7 will have some great figs like Big John Studd and Andre.

I love Sheik/Volkoff! bought them all actually. but it was bad for marketing to start with line up.
LOD (Red), Rockers (cause of Shawn mostly), Demolition would have been a decent start!
Piper & orton either singles or later down the line would've be good.
I'm a bit baffled by the "obscure" hate myself. Some dont want martel or akeem even! Warrior/Tornado are all I'm getting from #6!
