Who's going to Lockdown? Being that its a major ppv and that its close enough to the north east and being in the midwest, figured there would be several board members going.
I will be there. I snagged the VIP package for Hogan, Sting, Flair. Looking to buy additional Sting autos if anyone wants to sell one or 2 off.

I'm not, wish I was though as I need some stuff signed. Oh well, maybe they'll come back to Atlanta for Bound for Glory, won't happen though.

Well I am fairly ticked off. Before they allowed 3 items to be done and this year they are not.
For the main roster, you get 1 8X10 that they supply and 1 item of your choice plus a photo. What if I dont want the 8X10? I should have to get that signed. Hoping I can substitute that out. Also, most of the roster I have photos with and dont need another. Hoping I can once again substitute.
But really irks me is the main event portion. 1 auto and 1 photo? WTF?! What happened to the 3 items of your choice? These are some of the little stupid crap that TNA does that begins to irk people. If you are changing fan fest, then you need to advertise that. Dont send me an email after I order telling me what I get.

I had thought about it. I live barely 20 minutes from Cincinnati. I couldn't get the money together and I'm not real familiar with what's going on in TNA nowadays.

Living in Edmonton I've never once had the oportunity to meet any of those 3 people and would love to do so under whatever circumstances. Even if I paid to just get the chance to meet them face to face, shake their hand and share a small conversation with them that'd be more than enough. Be thankful.

In 2007, you could get two items signed [two of your own or buy their 8x10 and one of your own]. And I know for sure that the main event package with Flair/Sting at "Bound for Glory" was one photo/one autograph. And there is proof all over to prove it, so don't give me the "NO! THEY CHANGED IT!" crap. And I doubt TNA will let you "sub" a photo-op for an autograph just because you've met them before. Honestly, you're meeting three of the biggest names in wrestling... I would kill for that chance and I wouldn't complain "oh man, I can only get one autograph?!". You come off very spoiled and act like TNA owes you something better. Bound for Glory 2010 Page: shoptna.com/bfgvip.aspxLOckdown 2010 Page clearing show "two autographs and one photo": shoptna.com/fan-interaction-tickets.aspxEDIT: And yes, you can sub the 8x10 photo they give to you [for free] for another item. It's there if you want it and if you're lucky, some of the talent will sign both your items along with the 8x10. I know this was the case with AJ Styles at "Bound for Glory" as I had him sign two older 8x10s and then he signed his newest one for my collection without my asking.

Flair is a dick, Sting can be cold and uninterested. Be ready for them to take your items, sign them, in Flair's case not even look at you, in Stings case shake your hand maybe.
Hogan from what I heard is very nice to fans at things like this.

You would pay $200 to shake their hands and have a small conversation? I wouldnt. I'm sorry that these guys dont come your way very often. I understand the Northeast is spoiled for good pro wrestling and big stars. Still doesnt take away the fact that its not what was advertised. CM, my mind's clouded up. Remind me, where is it this year? Cincinnati for Lockdown, Kentucky for Fanfest. Evidently, they are REALLY close to one another. Well I am fairly ticked off. I know this was the case with AJ Styles at "Bound for Glory" as I had him sign two older 8x10s and then he signed his newest one for my collection without my asking. TNA advertised when Bob Ryder began tweeting about the main event package going on sale 2 weeks before it was announced. He specifically said 2 autos and 1 photo. Previous fan interactions have allowed you to sub your photo for an auto. for the simple fact that photos take longer than an auto does. For St. Louis, Lockdown main event package allowed for 4 total items. 1 16X20 poster that TNA supplied, 2 items of your choice and 1 photo. Almost everyone was subbing out the 16X20 for an item of their own. Am I spoiled? Damn right I am. I freely admit it. But in this case, it isnt about being spoiled. Its about getting what is advertised. Spending $200 at the 2 autos, 1 photo makes it worth the trip. 1 auto....not so much, especially when there is no option to purchase additional tickets. Does TNA owe me something better than what I am getting? DAMN RIGHT! They owe me what they advertised. Thats all I am asking. "The two-hour Main Event is $299 and includes the only appearance by Hulk Hogan, “Nature Boy” Ric Flair & Sting. Hogan, Flair, Sting – First time all three have been available in the same room at the same time for an autograph signing. Up to two items signed, use your own camera to get picture taken. Each fan in attendance will be given a poster size photo, suitable for framing, of Hogan, Flair, and Sting that can be signed. Poster can be signed in addition to the two item signing limit." The link you supplied for TNA says it right there. 2 items and the 16X20 poster can be signed, poster can be an additional item after your 2. Flair is a dick, Sting can be cold and uninterested. Be ready for them to take your items, sign them, in Flair's case not even look at you, in Stings case shake your hand maybe. Hogan from what I heard is very nice to fans at things like this. Flair was cool during WM weekend down in Atlanta. Just depends on how you approach him, what you say, and how he is feeling that day. Sting is quiet. But I did meet him before and it was an awesome surreal experience. Quiet man, but still was very nice.

Just because they've done it a certain way doesn't mean that it was advertised that way. I'd say they're advertising it the way it was told for you in the e-mail and if that's what they said then I'd be more than happy to take it. So what Flair can be a dick and Sting may seem uninterested, I'd be more than happy being in their presence and having their autographs. TNA could mandate it be on a brown paper bag and I'd take it. Because I'm not greedy.

CM,
You are totally flipping what you're saying. You stated in your very first post that they allowed 3 items to be done in the past which I took as AUTOGRAPHS as you then turned around and said: "For the main roster, you get 1 8x10 that they supple and 1 item of your choice plus a photo" which is two autographs. That is what TNA has advertised in the past, I don't know where you got 3 autographs but it's been two autographs since October 2007.
Also, if you're not going to pay attention to what I say, don't reply. You didn't apparently read closely to what I said in my post and just wanted to reply to see your post count go up.
I plain as day stated: "And I know for sure that the main event package with Flair/Sting at "Bound for Glory" was one photo/one autograph" to which Hogan wasn't even on the show. So, what does "Lockdown" 2010 have to do with an event that was seven months later? Exactly, it has nothing to do with it. I never stated that Lockdown 2010 was only 1 item for the main event package. I was referring to the fan interaction with the "regular" admission that you got two autographs and one photo-op.
And I never saw Bob Ryder state that Hogan/Flair/Sting/Foley would be signing two autographs. Not once, so if you can re-find the tweet and show me, fine.
" Spending $200 at the 2 autos, 1 photo makes it worth the trip. 1 auto....not so much"
You're not getting just 2 autographs and a photo or $200 though. You're meeting four different major names in wrestling, everyone who will be on the card at Lockdown, a VIP merchandise deal, and a boat curise with the TNA talent.

Cincinnati for Lockdown, Kentucky for Fanfest. Evidently, they are REALLY close to one another. They're right across the river form on another. US Bank Arena is pretty much right on the river, with a walking bridge nearby that goes to Newport, KY. I assume the Fanfest is in Newport? If it's in Covington, watch your wallet.

Newport is worse than Covington. The Convention Center is right on the river and is a nice place. The cruise leave from the dock behind it if memory serves.
I am about 6 miles from it, but won't be going. I would like to meet them, but my opinion is that the price is too high.

CM, And I never saw Bob Ryder state that Hogan/Flair/Sting/Foley would be signing two autographs. Not once, so if you can re-find the tweet and show me, fine. 13 days ago Mr. Ryder wrote the folowing in repsonse to if Hogan would sign WCW merch. "Yes. There will be a limit of two items to be signed and one photo." When the person asked if that meant 2 autos and a photo for the VIP, Bob repsonded. "That's correct." So yea, Bob Ryder did indeed advertise VIP as 2 autos and a photo. I'm not happy but it's still gonna be a lot of fun.
