Edge didn't find out from his doctors about how much trouble he was in, and then like a month down the track, you came online and read the headline 'Edge passes away'.
How would have you personally felt? How do you think the WWE would have reacted? The speculation on what happened if we didn't find out the real reason for a while. Like, would media blame drugs again?
I'm just really happy that his issues were picked up on before anything got way too serious.

He said if he continued to wrestle he would have ended up in a wheel chair for the rest of his life. I don't think he would have died, but I'm sure if he did we would all be shocked and heartbroken.

Why is this place always so ing morbid? We get Eddie/Benoit what if "X" died threads way too often. It would have been sad. I would have cried. Many of us would have. The WWE would have put on a tribute show. The media would have put spin on it. It's a pretty obvious answer. Just be thankful it didn't happen and Edge can walk away from wrestling pretty much in tact and leave it at that.

it wasnt life threatening, it was paralysis, possibly death down the road but wheelchair bound he wouldnt die man and geez why would you wanna even think of that bad enough he has to never wrestle again simply because of all the injuries he got for us
he is one of the few like christian the hardyz cena etc who wrestled because they loved it and for the fans sad it has to end like this i truly believed these guys had a passion for it and it ended it for him too

I'm not one to come into a thread and bash the poster for asking an honest question. And you have a right to ask it. But I don't think we should put this in that morbid of a context. And I think we are all missing a much brighter note actually. I'm not saying let's have a parade that Edges career is over BUT as sad as we are about it ,we should be happy that in the recent "wrestling tradgedies" of the last 13 or so years ,we have witnessed a wrestling success. For someone to have the passion he had for wrestling, get to do it,become a bonafide superstar, stay on top, accomplish everything there was,to STILL be a fan,and come out alive and healthy enough to walk away and have a quality life....man Edge is genuinely a wrestling triumph. We're all shocked, sad, and rightfully so as fans, but no one should try to put a morbid take on this. We should be able to say, "it sucks you have to go,but thanks for the entertainment and congratulations on a tremendous career".

If he did I'd kill you....I'd ing kill you! If any wrestler died whether it's John Cena or Tyler Reks, I'd be very shocked and saddened.
