Really dont mind the Raw theme, hated the last one whatever it was.
AWFUL!!!! SD theme does annoy me and it doesnt have that big weekly adrenaline start it should have because of it but i can live with it.

Ahh, a Nickelback hatred thread, I thought these were only on the Entertainment board.....
I like Nickelback, therefore I like the Raw Intro.

It's kind of funny you can somewhat grasp the desired direction of the company at the time simply from the intro. 1998 is almost all hardcore clips, there isn't one with out something crazy hardcore happening. 2002 is more T&A then anything else really (trying to desperately cling to that 16-25 year old male I suppose?). Current intro is one of the few you actually have the time to make out each wrestler, tells me the company is keen on pushing specific guys as opposed to the product as a whole like they did in 98.
... or I just read too much into things.

I don't like Nickelback at all though I don't mind the Raw theme.
Across the Nation, is in the top two along with the very first theme.
Smackdown's current one is awful. The one before it I thought was awesome.

I'll take Burn It To The Ground over the incoherent nonsense lyrics of a lot of the older RAW intros. As for To Be Loved, it just makes no sense for an intro.
Burn It To The Ground > All.

the incoherent lyrics are only played for about 20 seconds though and then it's all instrumental. All ing night I have to hear Chad Kroeger going "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" I mean I'll agree the Papa Roach song sucked but it didn't make me want to punch my TV like this song does.

Nah I understand Chad Kroeger is a bit of a knobhead, and I also realise that Nickelback are public enemy number 1 in the US, so fair enough.

I don't mind the theme, it's just they have had it a while. I would love a new opening.

I want you all to keep this in mind:
They could always put a Justin Bieber theme for Raw. They could always put "Friday" by Rebecca Black as the theme for SmackDown.
IT CAN ALWAYS GET WORSE.

...I'd take the current theme over Papa Roach any day of the week. YES! I hated that damn Papa Roach song. Ugh.

I still think this is the best intro to any WWE show ever produced: And not only because it reminds me of SmackDown: Shut Your Mouth. WOO WOO WOO. Agreed.
