Hey peeps, please check out my thread, EDWA, my figure fed. But I want some opinions on a storyline idea i have. I know, most of you will say, it's your fed, who cares what we think, blah blah, etc. But listen and reply. For easter, I plan on getting The Hart Dynasty, Elite Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase and Ringside battle. Then I'm gonna order Zack Ryder, Luke Gallows, two packs 20 Justin Gabriel and Darren Young, and PPV 8 wade Barrett. And my idea is to create a Nexus 2.0. Of course, in my fed, none of these guys exist until they are brought in, and nobody knows about Nexus version 1 and CM Punk's version. But how does that sound, folks? And how can I make the stoyline good and not fail like some people think the actual nexus failed?

They only failed because they kept losing and were made to look like garbage due to the top guy always taking them out.
Kind of odd if you called them Nexus 2.0 if there wasn't already a first Nexus in your fed.

I'm not going to spoil anything in mine, but I actually plan to have a nexus soon as well. But I would just call them NEXUS, I wouldn't put any number on them. I would also be creative with who you add to the group and who leads it. I think Barrett should be a member and not a leader if you plan to put him in the group.

Not entirely sure how this is a storyline.
I'd suggest not trying to rehash anything. Rehashes always come off as just that, rehashes. Even when WWE decides that stuff is now old enough that it can be redone verbatim, it comes off as lame. It's even lamer when stuff is copied to the tee around here.
You've got a blank slate to work with. Why copy something WWE did? Why copy something that any wrestling company before has done? Think outside the box. Why draw an apple on your blank slate when everyone's drawn an apple. Draw something no one's ever seen or thought of before.
I'll reference a writer that no one here has ever heard of or read, Tennessee. Tenn decided that Kurt Angle should have a group behind him. The group consisted of Meng as a tag team partner, Elix Skipper as a cheerleader (named Flip) and Tony Shavonie as a manager. And because it was well written and correctly developed, this random foursome was awesome, and one of the most well remembered and legendary angles on an amazing booking board that is unfortunately no longer around. Tenn's version of Team Angle proves that with the right writing, ANYTHING can succeed.
Who would've thought that a guy who loves cake and punching people in the ass would become the most iconic character in WCWA history?

It's like that with everything though.
SES was around a lot were clamoring to do that.
People were clamoring to do Legacy.
And so on.

I've really got to start proofreading. This is like the third time today I've typed something that doesn't make any sense. Luckily Slappy either didn't catch it or was nice enough not to point it out.
Not nearly as bad as the text I sent earlier, having sixteen boxes of boxes to take to Half Price Books. In reality, there's 16 magazines in one box. Figure out how the text went wrong and you get a cookie.
