We all know warrior wasnt gifted, but
Boy didnt he take that pedigree well compared to so many stars of today
Im i the only one impressed with that
My question is how was warriors return built up? i totally forgot
was he seen on tv leading to WM12 or was that his first appearance

at least guys today sell the move. I wouldn't go as far as to say that when Cena vs. Khali is headlining PPVs.

the ultimate warrior not selling the pedigree was a punishment for Triple H for going into the ring on Nash and Halls last match.
they Jobbed him for a year.
getting up from his finishing move is the ultimate slap in the face.

Actually, Triple H was gaining momentum by that time. I wouldn't say he was a nobody.

I actually watched this again the other day. The Pedigree looked good but then I was like what the after he got up after a second after he did it. Warriors return was ultimately pointless and him going over an up and coming star like that despite the Kliq farewell.

Really, that match was just a filler, and a way to get Warrior on 'mania imo.

They hyped him up as being this legendary star that was retuning and he had a history of putting people down for the count in mere minutes. This only made sense. Why would they have him actually put up a huge fight for his big return. Kicking out of that pedigree made him look beastly. Yeah it made HHH's move look bad, but how many people were thinking that as they saw it? Certainly not the children in the audience. Its only thought of like that now, and because HHH says he hates it.

Yeah. It wasn't a punishment to HHH over the Kliq thing. Hall and Nash hadn't even left WWF yet at the time. Nash fought Undertaker on the card.

Warrior was infamous for his no-selling.

I enjoyed seeing that because I hated HHH then........the Warrior was a real tool though-much like HHH is today-trying to control everything

I'd have to admit, WARRIOR got up way too quick, not saying he should of laid there for a minute, but at least have HHH go for the pin and THEN kick out sending HHH a foot high into the air..THAT have been a cool thing to see.

Warrior is one of the all time greats. His return at WM12 was awesome. I love they had him dominate. He is still one of my favorites. If he ran out on RAW tonight it would be the biggest pop ever because he still has that electricity. He won't ever return however which is sad.

HHH was the perfect person for him to face at the time. He was a young heel. Ultimate Warrior was their classic good guy, It made a lot of sense.
Mero vs HHH developed over Sable so they obviously couldn't have fought that night.
The Kliq's exit didn't occur until a couple of months after, HHH's punishment hadn't yet begun.
HHH's career definitely got over this loss, so there's no need to make a fuss about it today. If you name all the eventual megastars who jobbed the list goes on forever. Guerrero, JBL, Edge, Austin, Booker T, Jarrett.... the list goes on forever.
