WWE already won it by then, if you haven't got it, get the Monday Night Wars DVD, its a good watch, although people say its biased, which it isn't IMO, its still good and has some good extras

Who knows? Really WCW was in a terrible state but with correct management it could easilly have risen up again & been a threat, we'll never know. Maybe under Bischoff who was planing to buy the company it could have over time become a threat & beat the WWE like it did for those 82 straight weeks. We'll never know.
As said above though if you haven't seen MNW get the DVD, it's a great presentation, obviously has a bias towards WWE but thats understandable however it does include comments & footage from most of the people involved in that era

WWF would've still won. You can have all the money in the world, but if you simply cant write interesting material, it means nothing.

Turner didn't sell it, he was already kicked out of his company, that's the reason it was sold the people that sold WCW didn't want it in the first place the only reason it lasted as long as it did was that Ted Turner wanted to keep the company around

WCW was sold for a couple mil at that point, so the company was basically worth nothing when Vince bought it.
A great read is the Death of WCW book written by RD Reynolds and Bryan Alvarez, explains everything that went wrong leading up to the sale.

I could honestly see a WCW-NWA-TNA-ROH merger. You have to think AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Kevin Nash, Konnan, plus more would still be in wcw. TNA would have never been around. Then on top of that they would have raided a place like ROH because WCW had more talent then WWF did. If they brought the NWA name back or helped it then you could get guys like Bryan Danielson.
Everything is what ifs. What if ECW could go on TNN and put on a show that wasnt toned down. Get better ratings and make more money and not shut the doors. Where would they be now?

Yeah, I wonder if TNA and ROH would even exist if WCW were still around. I'm betting that TNA wouldn't be around, but ROH might have still formed to fill the void from ECW going under.

WCW was only aroung for so long because Turner needed more programming for his channels. At one point there was 10 hours a week between TBS and TNT and that was only 3 shows. I know he was a wrestling fan but I gurantee he had no clue what was going on storyline wise, he just wanted to hear his ratings so they could charge more money for ad's. Just my opinions.
