Oddly enough I started buying the Mattel figures for my son because he got into wrestling just like me, he just turned 6 last week, and I started collecting them Jan 2010. But as the Legends starting coming out I started buying them and certain Elites for myself and him as well as Basics for him, I also do customs and someday when I'm not lazy, I'll post a few of my completed works on here, lol.... Also that is a cool classic Kurt Angle and I hope your nephew does get into wrestling with a collection like that, lol.! QUAGMIREI hope so too. I attempt to get my 7 year old niece into it. She thinks its cool but she's not completely into it. I showed her that George "The Animal" Steele figure today and she was intrigued by the color of his tongue. "Why does he have a pet monkey?" lol. She also likes to try to wrestle me. Which consists of her jumping off the couch and me catching her.. then I either hit a "Tombstone Piledriver", a '"Bossman Slam", or a "Razor's Edge" on her. Sometimes I put her in the "Figure Four" as well. It's gonna be fun when my nephew is a little bit older. lol.

Cool stuff. If it turns out your nephew doesn't like wrestling when he gets older, I'll take that WrestleMania Matt Hardy and series 5 R-Truth.

That's a pretty big collection. I have 3 nephews that like wrestling so I usually buy them some when they have good deals. Usually my sister does not like them to watch wrestling because they go to school and try to do wrestling moved on their friends. I took them to a PPV show couple of years ago and they had fun. I have 4 month old girl so I'll have to wait and see if will be interested on wrestling when she gets older.

I felt inspired to create my first post here on this thread. I have been purchasing figs for my "unborn son" for a few years now. I know it sounds crazy, but I remember my collection of LJN's when I was little, loved that collection that my parents had purchased for me, and I wanted to do the same thing for my son.
I just got married a few months back and I'm hoping that I will be able to start gift wrapping these bad boys in a few years.
I am approaching 100 figs (sitting on 92), just having picked up Sheamus and McIntyre today. I know it sounds crazy, but hey, if I have a bunch of daughters that aren't into wrastlin', there's always ebay.
I really enjoy the chatter on the boards, I guess I will have to start posting some more. Glad to see I wasn't the only one out here just collecting for future.

lol. Not anymore, but when my daughter was younger I had to get her the divas (or any female that was packed with someone I had wanted) The worst was with my DC lines. Any female character I wanted in JL/JLU, The Batman, DCSH I had to come home with 2 of or she'd take mine. lol And thankfully with the older lines I had like Hasbro's BtAS, TNBA & StAS I had doubles of the females

Ahh this brings back a ton of Memories! My dad was a time keeper in the NJ/NY area in the 90s for The Meadowlands, and indy companies so he got to hang out with all these guys. The basement was WALL TO WALL, AWA Remcos, WWF LJNS, Hasbros, WCW Galloobs, WCW OSFTM, Wrestling Buddies, and it expanded to WWF BCAS, WCW Flip N' Grip, WCW Toybiz and so on and so forth. Not to mention my first wrestling show was at 6 months old and I met SD Jones, Shiek and Snuka when i was 2 lol. So I pretty much got grown into wrestling because I was constantly around it as a little kid therefore Wrestling pretty much is my life. I am really sure that your nephew will get huge into wrestling. Trust me and great collection btw
