The Orndorff body is too short for it to stand with the other Legends. If I were to make a Hogan custom I'd use the Hillbilly Jim body for sure.

Pretty nice! I just finished up a Hogan myself, but I went about it a bit differently . . . . I used Texas Tornado's body, Macho boots (in this case, the yellow shades match up!) and an R3 Hulk Rules head. I do like the removable bandanna deal with yours! Pics? They match huh??? Interesting. .

Nice custom, just a few more details to make it accurate and you're good to go!

Love the Yellow IC belt on Warrior. I've though about doing that to mine but I'm not 100% sure. What do I have to do to get it like that?

Love it Brother! hangin and bangin on venice beach, drivin the my harley into the ocean, crashin in the waves, then ride on the back of a great white shark dude!!
love it, my fav hogan scan so far, i know i wish he didnt have the " i just got beat up by one of dibiase's hired goons " eye!! BUT its still the best 89-91 Hulk Facescan imo.. all i would do differently is use bigger knee pads maybe the ones from jakks hulk vs andre, then get the white laces.. but brother Good Job! my favorite hulk memory is the white wrist tape, yellow hulk rules cutoff, and red bandana w/ WWF logo front centered and yellow writing....
QUESTION, i love the mega-maniacs hulk jakks scan, did jakks make any other that look like it without the damaged eye??.. i have hulk/andre and its ugly ....
watchya gunna do brother , when hulkamania and the largest arms in the world destroys you

Macho- love your comments. I searched eBay for months trying to find the perfect Hogan scan. I'm not too familiar with JAKKS, but I think this was the only time this head scan was used. I don't like the ones with the white bandana under his hair. The R3 Tech (I think) is nice. It has the molded red bandana.
I'm going out tonight to get different yellow paint. I sprayed the trunks and boots with Testors. It took forever to dry (days) and I'm not 100% happy. The boots are pissing me off. I'm gonna strip the boots down, get new paint and paint them by hand. The laces and bottoms too.

I really like your Jakks winged eagle fix-up, very clean and well done.
With all the fantastic Mattel belts made so far, I'm not impressed at all with their version. Jakks did a better job with their version, despite the lack of paint. It's not because of the yellow strap or black globe, but in general the center plate sculpting seems off and sloppy. Not to mention the lack of that metallic gold shine that Mattel is stopping with their belts now (that being said, they still did a great job on the undisputed belt).

Target doesn't have paint. LoL. Michaels tomorrow...... Try that Krylon paint for plastics. You can get it at any Walmart. Or . . . you can use what I do. I use vinyl color spray paint. You can get basic colors at an auto parts store, and you can get more exotic colors (yellow, tan, purple, etc) from an www.autobarn.com. I use them, and I love their service. You can spray the vinyl paint on, or you can spray some into the cap and brush it on. Works great either way . . . on the actual fig parts, on the pliable knee and elbow pads, belt straps, everything. Even won't rub off in knee and elbow joints! Incredible stuff.
