It seems like every week Averno is pulling off La Mascara's mask lol. One thing that confuses me in CMLL is when during a 2/3 falls match one guy will pin the opponent and then right afterwards they pin the other guy meaning it should be 2 straight falls but it only counts as 1. Also I think its funny how 3 guys can pile on one guy and the ref still counts the pin Yeah, that confuses me a little bit, too. Isn't Averno supposed to go to WWE. I think I read on Luchaworld.com where he said during a press conference before his Mascara vs. Mascara match that he wasn't going to the WWE. I thought that was storyline, but now that he's still the NWA World Middleweight Champion and now the CMLL World Trios Champion with Ephesto and Mephisto, is he still expected to go to WWE?

NWA World Middleweight? NWA World Middleweight title is CMLL Historic Middle? 7/22 – Arena Mexico - Mascara challenging Averno to a shot at his CMLL Historic Middle Championship. It is the same title?

It is the same title? It kinda is, but it isn't. Sorry for the mishap. It's called the NWA World Historic Middleweight Championship. CMLL returned the NWA World Middleweight Championship back to the NWA after Blue Demon Jr. complained that they shouldn't promote NWA championships on their shows since CMLL is not part of the NWA. Not sure why they kept the NWA name, just calling it the World Historic Middleweight Championship.

I read that AAA is working on upgrading their TV shows to HD so they can get back on Galavision. The sooner the better

AAA Executive Vice President Dorian Roldan announced last night on his Twitter page that Sting would be making his debut in Mexico on the Heroes Inmortales show on 10/9 at Arena Monterrey.
I got this from Luchaworld.com

OMG, I just read that Octagon and La Parka have turned rudo and joined La Sociedad. I am absolutely shocked when I read it. They were two of AAA's top technicos. Now, I really want AAA to return to Galavision.

Long-time CMLL regular and independent wrestler, Dr. X/Dr. X-Treme was reportedly murdered in the early morning (2 am) while attending a party. He was reportedly defending someone else when he was shot.
Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Dr. X/Dr. X-Treme. More details will be available at a later time.

UPDATE via KrisZ: Clemente Marcelino Valencia Nájera or better known as Dr. X-Treme was murdered early this morning at a party where he was attending where he was shot in the head by mistake. The party was for friends and family but some of the people there got in an altercation and someone pulled a gun out where he shot and missed his target ending up hitting Doc in the head. Doc died while on his way to the hospital. He was 41-years-old. (some reports have him listed as approximately 43 years old)

Now, I really want AAA to return to Galavision. Me, too! I got into watching it last year, to prep for the video game coming out, but since it's been gone, it kinda sucks. I have no interest in watching CMLL. I tried, it bored me. But I still didn't learn any Spanish from watching AAA. Maybe one or two words.

I love watching Lucha Libre but last nights CMLL on galavision did pretty much nothing for me. Two matches in an hour? Plus I would rather see some of the bigger names than the woman's title be on the line. I guess that is what happens when it is only on for an hour though. I wish it was on for 2 hours.

I'm not sure why they're only doing one hour episodes of CMLL. I did however love the Women's Title match, as Amapola and Marcela are two of my favorite luchadoras (first being Sexy Star of course) I did enjoy CMLL better when they were doing two hour episodes. Well, it's better than no CMLL on TV, as it hasn't been on Galavision for a month, I think even longer.

One hour of CMLL is better than none at all haha It hasn't been on for two weeks before this past weekend. Not sure of the reasoning? According to my guide, it is on for two hours this weekend. Hopefully it doesn't change as the date gets closer!

This past weekends CMLL show was cool. I haven't seen Liger wrestle in forever! It was nice seeing him, even though the match overall wasn't the best. Crazy to see Garza walk too. As the article said, probably a good thing for both sides. If Averno really is WWE bound, that is gonna hurt CMLL too. I love watching Lucha Libre and am kind of torn with them and WWE. Obviously we get to see them more on WWE, I am just afraid that they won't be utilized and may just get released. Hopefully CMLL attendence goes up too. It would be a shame to see WWE basically cause the demise of the company.

Well, I heard rumors that Paco Alonso was going to suspend any wrestler on his roster who attended a tryout with the WWE. Also, Paco is a very stubborn man, he may not listen to reason. It is said that he tends to keep business the same as it was 80 years ago. Paco thinks that he's the WWE of Mexico and that no one should jump ship to the WWE. Because of Averno signing a contract with the WWE, Averno lost his mask. I think if Paco could stop being so damn stubborn, maybe CMLL has a chance to bring revenue up.

Man, so many things have happened in Lucha Libre over the past couple of months. In AAA, Toscano, Texano Jr. and Mascara Ano 2000 Jr. formed el Consejo to go against AAA and La Sociedad. The storyline here is that neither Konnan, Dorian or Joaquin was responsible for bringing these three and when el Consejo attacks, they attack everyone, except for L.A. Park. In CMLL, Marco Corleone returned and there was a 10 man torneo cibernetico to crown a new CMLL Heavyweight Champion. Rush and El Terrible were the last two and they will face off on January 1 to crown the new champion. Atlantis, Delta & Guerrero Maya Jr. became the new Mexican National Trios Champions and Felino got his head shaved.
I was hoping the last two in the torneo cibernetico were Mr. Niebla and Marco Corleone with Niebla winning the title. I can't see me rooting for either Rush or Terrible

I watch the CMLL matches on Youtube when thecubsfan uploads the matches, and there's still no word on when AAA comes back on the air. TBH, I am not liking the 1 hour time slot for CMLL.
