At first I said I wouldn't miss him much if he left. Not because he's not good, but because WWE hadn't done anything to make me care about him. But after watching his last several matches my tune has changed.
PLEASE STAY PUNK!!!

Hopefully what's in my sig. But in all honestly, I think this is the start of him leaving WWE. I think he'll dump Nexus, challenge Cena for the title, lose, and leave. It would technically be "Honest" because he would actually be leaving.

Money In The Bank is in Chicago. Maybe he will be in the title match. One can only hope.

IF Punk does leave i understand why, He needs time off to recharge himself, He can leave after SS take a few months off and come back to begin a feud with Austin.
I really do think we will see Austin/Punk at WM28, Vince knows having Austin and Rocks big comeback matches on the same WM will gain alot of buyrates, Austin and Punk are both smart guys, Austin has been getting back into the business recently in the last 2 years and he has even said his neck and health is 100%, Austin has said he has been wanting to get back in the ring but he feels there wasn't a point and was waiting for the right opponent and the right time, WM28 and Punk are the right time and right opponent
Austin has stated he has 1 more match left in him, Then he has been saying he has 2 years left in him, I truly believe Austin has one last run in him but he doesn't need 1 last run, Just one last match against one of the best wrestlers of this generation, Punk grew up watching Austin and there both similar in a way, Both can Walk the Walk and Talk the Talk, This would be the best dream match ever
So have Punk compete in the MITB, Then have him compete at SS against Cena, Rey and Del Rio in a 4 way WWE Title match then IF he is leaving have him leave after SS the next night on raw, He can take a break come back and beat Austin and that will elevate him to the top, Cena doesn't need to beat Rock, Cena is already an established star but Punk isn't quite there yet

I hope he does leave and I don't mean that in a negative way.
I want him to go somewhere where he'll be appreciated and can wrestle and not have to deal with crap like the Nexus.
Plus, I wouldn't want him to stay around if they force him to give up his name. I'd rather he keep his name and leave.

To be honest, if someone offered me the main event spot on ROH or TNA and I was also offered to be an upper mid-carder in WWE, I'd take the latter. In retrospect, I think your first point makes no sense. I agree about the name thing. I don't get it though. TNA have the biggest name in the wrestling world and they still have little consumer awareness amongst WWE's majority demographic (kids), so CM Punk keeping his name shouldn't be an issue for them. Anyway, I have an annoying feeling that it will be about his departure. But, it would be pretty awesome if it was the start of a push for Punk which would result in he vs Cena at MITB.

They want his name and if he gives it to them and he eventually leaves then he's screwed. Just like the Dudleyz. Punk wants to wrestle so if he can get that then I don't think he'd care if he was a main eventer or just in the mid-card.

While I agree The Nexus have held him down, you really think he is underused and not being able to wrestle? Just this month he's had good matches with Kofi Kingston, 2 with Rey Mysterio on TV and another cracker on PPV, main evented RAW with John Cena last week and last night was in a brilliant Triple Threat match! Plus maybe now you'll be happy as he won it and and is now in a WWE title match in his hometown. Come on, man, when CM Punk was winning Money in the Bank matches and World Titles, people were bitching about him.

I always loved CM Punk by far the best in WWE right now.

CM Punk has NEVER been misused by the WWE.
He is a 3x World champ, A "grand slam" champion (WHC, ECW, IC, Tag) Has been involved in major storylines pretty much since his debut and the ECW New Breed era. Yea he's not main eventing every single show...but that is NOT being misused.
If Punk was just floating around the main event every week & every PPV for the last 3 years people would do nothing but bitch and moan about him & the WWE never changing things up.
The whole Nexus thing going on right now is just a way to help get over Mason Ryan and keep Otunga & McGillicutty in the public eye so we don't completely forget about them. It's not hurting Punk at all. It's helped him when needed....and when it's not needed, they don't even come out with him!
