I just got my RSC order of Legends 6 Eddie and Ultimate Warrior and Exclusive Kane. Also got my eBay order of Elite 8 Drew McIntyre with Intercontinental Belt. Awesome figures! But, with all the complaints about the World Heavyweight Title that comes with Elite 10 Kane being dull, has anyone noticed that the Legends 6 belts are ALSO dull? I don't have the WHC belt in hand to compare, but the shine on my Intercontinental Belt is definitely better than the Legends 6 belts. I really hope this is not a trend. These belts should be shiny because they are awesome. These are basically trophies in the WWE world. They don't have to be shiner than the other and get too technical, but they should be reflective by default at the very least. I'm a little sad. Camera flash is probably making these look shinier than they really are. I'm still very happy to have the figures, but I am not looking forward to possibly having to re-buy belts to get a shiny one. -TheNewbieWhat

If it bothers you that much that they are not shiny then go buy some glossy paint sealer and there problem solved.

I have no trouble with the belts. I think all are fine as they are the WHT should be duller than the others because it is in real life.

I know what you mean though, put aside scale issues with the belts - the vac-metalized belts look pristine while these dull-coated belts look like tonka toy accessories.
The WHC is supposed to be dull, however being as objective as possible - Mattel did drop the ball on the winged-eagle details and colour.

Haha, I thought about putting my comments in that thread, but it wasn't a WHC belt related issue. I just wondered if this issue was overlooked in the Legends 6 belts. Didn't want to skim through 10 pages to see if Legends 6 belts were brought up. If there is a glossy paint that is easily applied though, I'd love to be directed to that thread to see results. There is so much activity on these boards that its hard to narrow down topics.

I like dullness it gives it a real look. I got to see couple of the titles up close and besides the Diva title and the US Title they all have had a dull look and where scratched and looked worn. I can see both sides of the coin don't get me wrong.

Every belt doesn't need to be shiny as hell

I personally like every belt mattel has released. Even the WHC without the shine is far better than anything jakks ever did.
But while I enjoy every belt they have released, I do enjoy the ones that have the shine the most. The US and IC title, with that shine to them makes them look emaculate.
and you would have thought they would have used that shine on the WHC since its the most gold belt of all.
But I cant complain. Like i said, everything Mattel does is so detailed and far better than jakks. Or anyone else who has made Wrestlers for that matter.
But if i could, I would like them all to have that shine and be made with the same textures and glossy shine as the IC, US, WWE Tag, World Tag, and WWE Titles.

Well just take the plates off carefully and spray them from about a safe distance so it doesnt get clunky and dont put too much either then just wait for them to dry and put them back on the belt...simple as that.

They're not bad on their own, but compared to Intercontinental/US/WWE title they look like they're from another line.

They're OK, but I agree about comparing them with the IC/US/WWE titles.

The WHC looks more like the actual belt then any other Mattel has made.

"Camera flash will probably make them look shinier"...hmmm...I wonder if the lights from an arena or a photographer's flash in a promo picture might make a real title belt look shinier than it really is? Nah, probably not.

Nah, probably not. Really? Come on, we're just talking consistency among belts. They have been made to be a certain shine and it makes sense to apply that look across the board since they've set a style. That's all I mean. If they had started off as dull as they are in Legends 6, I don't think anyone would complain much. It's not stopping me from buying them. We all have a legit reason to give our opinion on this belt change, especially those of us who have purchased the figures.

I have purchased all of the figures that come with belts and it doesn't bother me. I got the WWE Undisputed belt after the WWE/IC/US titles and it did not bother me that it didn't have the same shine. It is actually my favorite title yet.

I'm not sure if theres a better one but this is the exact one i use except instead of matte like it says on this can buy the one that says gloss on the bottom

It would seem that Mattel is really JAKKing us around if they are gonna continue putting out dull belts. I don't believe the whole "we have a budget and we couldn't afford it" if that was the case then why is the belt in the wave to begin with? They already took the stands and tags away in the name of the "budget" it won't be long before they start turning into real JAKK offs.
