Yay! Finally got my Gallows and Anderson elites! Got them delivered to a pal’s and did my usual open the boxes in the car, hide them in my combat pockets and sneak them in the house trick again. Great figures tho! I would like to see this. You won’t be able to, I’m too good at not getting noticed!! 😂

My partner doesn’t like me blowing spare cash on wrestling figures, but I do it a lot and it drives her crazy! That whole sentence is also a complete understatement!!😮 Yeah i mean I got that part but why doesn't she like you blowing cash on figures?

That whole sentence is also a complete understatement!!😮 Yeah i mean I got that part but why doesn't she like you blowing cash on figures? Of course, sorry! Well, me and my fiancée are both part time workers, we pay full rent and only get a small bit of benefit for the kids, of which we have three, two daughters aged 3 &.5 & my stepson, who is 13. My car is nearly always needing money thrown at it, I’m always spoiling the kids & I’m in debt to a few companies, so these should be way down my list of priorities & I’m actually not sure how I’ve managed to pay for the amount of figures I’ve of got recently, but if she knew the amount, she would go on a rampage!! She’s a very practical person and likes to buy useful things, which means hobbies like these are just a waste of money to her. In her eyes, what I’ve spent recently could have gone towards a holiday, our wedding, a new car, paid off some bills, stuff like that. I can’t help myself though, I just love collecting wrestling figures and I want to build my collection up quickly to catch up as I only started on Mattel a couple of years ago. I’ve still got loads to get and they keep churning out a load of must have figs!

JimRiga I am newish to Mattel as well, the amount of older figures I want is daunting...the cost doubly so. That said just got the Flashback USA Elite Ultimate Warrior from eBay, what a figure.

Ordered 2 entrance greats Jeff hardy and aj style's figures from ringside. Total cost with shipping 42 pounds. Brilliant price. Ship them to my partner. Bought her the aj. She is bringing my figures to me when she comes to the UK.

There is some shocking QC at times from Mattel. Most of us are adult collectors but this is a toy line for kids, surely such things are not meant to happen in terms of health and safety?

Most of us are adult collectors but this is a toy line for kids, surely such things are not meant to happen in terms of health and safety? You would certainly think so. It's worrying in a way that Mattel have had feedback about it, but don't seem to have done anything to address the issue. If, god forbid, something were to snap and a kid was injured, and it was known that Mattel were aware of the issue - it would NOT look good for them at all.

Sheamus's leg broke off straight out of the package... I've had a number of problems with figures out of Entertainer lately. Bought a E43 Samoa Joe and the leg snapped off as soon as I took it out. I went back and tried to exchange it and the cashier let me take it out in the store to check it was okay and the same leg broke off that one too. She tried telling me that the leg wasn't supposed to move which is utter nonsense. This is less serious but yesterday I picked up E50 Cena and the paint job was terrible on the face. The figure has a worse lazy eye than Shawn Michaels does.

Go to bed, Jim lol Ha, I wish I could, but I’m wide awake! Serves me right for falling asleep earlier! Oh, I almost forgot - I got some more figs recently: Elite 55 Undertaker, Trent Baretta, TRU 5-pack Evolution Batista, elite Road Dogg, an elite Zack Ryder in silver, The Authors of Pain and finally, I got Mean Gene Okerlund!
