I remember walking into a TRU on 12/30/09 and finding all the Mattels freshly stocked a few days early! There was hardly anyone around so I felt like a kid in a candy store with the whole WWE aisle to myself. I picked up all of Elite, Basics, and 2-packs Series 1 that day and haven't stopped collecting since.
The very first figure I held in my hands and grabbed was Elite Rey Mysterio. I had a feeling he'd be the hard one to find and I was right. I never saw him in stores again until the Best of 2010 series came out!

I think the first thing I ever bought was the Santino/Phoenix 2-pack. This was 2 months before the official release.

My first Mattel figures were Batista and Randy Orton from Wrestlemania Heritage series 1. Great figs still to this day.

Its Funny because the first ever fig i got was an Classic HHH series 1 from jakks. Then i ended up getting other hhh from the other lines because those are what i always saw first in stores. When Mattel came out the first figure i saw and purchased was elite HHH series 1. Also his entrance great.

My first Mattel WWE figure was none other than the SDCC Ministry Undertaker!
I really wasn't aware of the WWE line until the Summer of 2010 but when I had a chance to order the Undertaker with My MOTUC, Ghostbusters, Avatar & DC exclusives I thought man that Undertaker looks like a great depiction of his old ministry days so when I received My HUGE MattyCollector order during the Post-SDCC sale in August of 2010 I was so amazed how he looked in the package and how the box and picture on the back of it looked so incredible and it was even better when I took him out of the box I was SOLD, I loved the likeness and articulation plus his cape and I wanted MORE so I did My research and stuff and then I got the Legends series 1 & 2 sets and that set the path for more Legends and current wrestlers too!

First mattel figure I bought was a mix of L5 savage, martel, akeem and bam bam. Sdcc Undertaker and L6 Texas Tornado and Warrior . Legends 5 got me to start collecting again. The figure figure I had in hand was Paul Orndorff , I bought him at walmart while I waited for my first order. Then I ordered every other legend I was missing
